Ariana kept sleeping for an hour before she finally woke. The moment she opened her eyes and looked aside, she found the space next to her empty.

'Did he leave' she wondered as she quickly jerked herself up on the bed and scanned the entire room.

Panic began to surge in her heart as she recalled the upset look on Lucian's face and she quickly pushed away the duvet over her body and climbed down from the bed.
