Julianna's lips parted a little as she found herself dumbstruck by his word. 

'He thinks that I followed the advice he suggested me the other day' 

"Ah.. yes.. yes I did tell them that I stayed with my friend," she said and quickly let go of his sleeves as she looked away, heaving out a deep breath.

Drake's frown deepened even more as he caught her lie. He came to notice this thing about her every time she had to dodge the question.

Staring at her for a few more seconds, he then decided to leave her as it is. Interrogating her will never make her spill the beans. 

"Anyways, now that your car is been sent and no one has found out about your lie then I shall take my leave. Goodbye Miss James" he said and started to walk away.

Since his house was just a few distances away from where Lucian had dropped them. It wasn't so tiring to reach there.

Whereas Julianna, she has to hail a cab to reach her home.
