1 Rebirth

???: "Is this my end?"

???: " hahahaha, of course, this your end, Lucifer, you think you are some kind of saviour who will save us from demise, well you jest as today you will die"

There were group of men gathered around a man on his kneels, he is a tall, magnetic, charismatic, devilishly-handsome, incredibly charming, dark-haired man with a model-like face and a muscular body.

The men around him loathe him for his talent, power, fame and handsomeness, they wanted to be like him, they wanted the kind of powers he has to be able to stand toe toe with a XX rank beast alone whereas they will need a team to accomplish that, they were powerful to the outside world but compared to him, they were trash.

Everything happened 100 years ago when monster came out of portals later known as gates and wrecked havoc on earth, but with that humans also gain abilities, to combat the monsters back. After a period of peace, humans were able to build shelters and and established a school for super powered individuals to teach them how to combat monsters from the gates and protect what they have left.

Lucifer: "hah, you were all so jealous of me, but what will gain by killing me, nothing, you won't gain my talents, powers, nothing and you all will remain the trash that you were as even to kill me, you still had to wait for my battle with the beasts to conclude before you all connered me, hahahaha, you are all pathetic"

???: "how dare you still have the guts to make jokes when you are about to die, you truly are fearless"

One of the mean said as he took out a knife and stabbed at Lucifer at his chest make him grunt in pain.

???: "that's going to kill him, we haven't gotten what we need so he can't die, why can't you control yourself"

Another one of the men said.

Lucifer: "you will never get what you are looking for, hahahahaha"

Lucifer laughed as he felt his vision slowly fading, he thought.

Lucifer: {sigh, sister, I'm sorry for failing you and also for not fulfilling my promise to you but I'm coming to join you soon, you can punish me when I get there}

He had an older sister who took care of him when their parents died in an expedition to SSS rank gate. She provided for him from a little age until they became adults when she awaken her SSS rank talent which enabled her to control hellflames which its said to burn down anything but she met her untimely death when a beast tide occurred in their city after he awaken his XXX rank talent of infinite replication which could replicate any talent of any rank permanently.

His sister died protecting him which led her to make him promise her to always help humanity with his talent as his talent is of a rank never seen before.

He held unto the necklace she gave him before her death and died holding it, when his assailants saw that he wasn't breathing sighed and took his body away while rehearsing their lines on how to pass on the news about his death to the masses who considered him the Angel and saviour of humanity.

Elsewhere

Lucifer: "I'm alive, but how, I remembered those bastards betrayed me and how one of them could not hold his anger and killed me, but how am I alive and back to the day I awaken my talent"

Lucifer wondered as to why he came back to the past on the day of his awakening after he died to those bastards.

He thought that he was hallucinating before passing on to the the afterlife when the door to his room opened revealing a dark haired woman whose beauty is on par with celestial beings. Her name is Lucy, the eldest sister of Lucifer.

Lucy: "hey brat, are you forgetting what today is or do you want some reminding?"

She said with a grin on her face she walked to her little brother to tinkle him but what met her was a hug from her brother who seems to have some form of tears in his eyes.

Lucy: "what's wrong, is their anything bothering, tell me"

She said as concern was written all over her face.

Lucifer: "nothing, I just miss you, that's all"

Lucy: "what do you mean you miss me, you always see me all the time except when I go on raids, so why the sudden mood"

Lucifer didn't care about what his sister was saying because he was very happy to see her again, he thought that he has already arrived at the afterlife.

Lucy "alright, enough with all this and get ready, we are going to be late for the awakening if you are stilling hugging me like this"

Lucifer: "huh?"

Lucy: "don't tell me you forgot about today"

That's when it dawn on him that he has really came back to the past, the day of his awakening. With this realization, came a new resolve to never let his sister die again, protecting her is the first agenda on his to-do list before thinking about those bastards that betrayed him.

He quickly ran to the bathroom and looked at himself in the mirror and confirmed he really came back.

Lucifer: "I don't know what happened, but I will make the best use of the second chance I have now"

He took a quick shower and changed into a black sportswear. He stepped out of his room and met his sister outside waiting for him.

They got walked to the academy as it was not that faraway from their apartment. As they were on their way to the academy, they drew the attention of everyone due to how good they looked.

Few minutes later, they got to the academy gate where Lucy left him to go in by himself as they weren't allowed inside apart from the the ones awakening their talents for the first time.

Lucy: "remember, even if your talent is not good, don't get discouraged or anything because I am always here for you, okay?"

Lucifer nodded his head as he was not worried about awakening a low rank talent but knew that he was going to make history once again.
