Work Time

Zoey walked inside the kitchen as she thought about what she could cook. She made some grilled cheese sandwiches since they didn't have much in the refrigerator.

While cooking she heard the TV being turned on and walked out to the living room. She saw Julong sitting down without a care in the world. Without even knowing it, she gave a tiny little amused smile and returned to the kitchen making a call to Don.

"Don, how far are you from here?" Zoey asked as she cooked.

"I just left the mall. Is there anything you want?"

Zoey started to plate her food as she answered,"Yes, I want to know what time our flight will be? Also can you get me some American snacks on your way here?"

"Yes, I will get the food. The fight for tomorrow is at 5 o'clock in the afternoon. Is that all Miss Z?"

"Yes, that would be all, goodbye," Zoey said and cut the call. She walked outside the kitchen into the dining room putting the plate of sandwiches on the table. She ate a little bit, then left them covered by a glass lid.

Zoey was in her office when she heard a knock.

"Come in," she called out, not moving her eyes from the computer.

"Miss Z, I placed the food in the kitchen counter and gave the clothing to the man," Don said after he closed the door.

"What is he doing outside?" Zoey asked typing away on her computer.

"He was eating in the kitchen. Is there anything else you need Miss?" Don asked as he looked at all the paperwork Zoey had in front of her. It would take him a week to read through that many papers then to understand them is a different thing.

"Yes set up a board meeting for tomorrow at 11. Make sure they all come to the meeting. Also, get me the profit and deduction data for all of the hotels in china. I want all of the data and predictions we had from last year and the ones from this year by 9 tomorrow." Zoey said in a cold and serious tone.

"Yes, Miss." Done replied then walked out once she waved her hand at him to leave.

It took Don no breaks and a lot of time, but at 4 in the morning he had all the paperwork ready and walked towards Zoey's office to hand them over. He opened the door and saw her on the computer as focused as she was when he had left.

"Miss, here are the paper works you requested. Do you need anything else?" Don asked, placing the papers down on a clean surface on the table.

"No, you can go rest," Zoey said as she pulled the paperwork towards her.

"Miss if you don't mind then I have something to tell you," Don said in a serious tone as he stepped back.

"What is it?" Zoey asked looking up from the papers to look at him.
