2 My First Job

"Miss Zahana Scott, it's your turn." the staff said.

I followed her and enter the office where I'll be interviewed. The room is very organized and I think the CEO here is very organized. I sat in the chair which I think will be the right spot for interviewers. The chair infront of me turned and I saw a beautiful lady that's like a celebrity.

"Well, you're Zahana right?" and I nodded. "You don't need to introduce yourself since I've already read your resume. But you must answer my question carefully okay?"

"Yes Miss Mira" I know her name since it's labeled on her table indicates that she is the Chief Secretary.

"If someone offered you a cat and a jewelry, what would you choose and why?"

"I would choose a cat, since Cat is not a thing but a friend. I'd rather have a friend than a jewelry even though it's worth millions. It's like you value your friends more, than the wealth you might have." I answered honestly.

I saw her smile "Impressive, you gain my trust Miss Scott. I think I found the right person for this position."

"What do you mean?" I asked curiously.

"Congratulations Miss Scott, you are officially hired as the company's Chief Financial Officer." She said while shaking my hands.

"Thank you so much Miss Mira" I smiled "but there's still a lot of interviewers outside, are they applying for the same position or not?"

"Well there's still two positions available though, except for the CFO. By the way you can start working tomorrow, be here at 8am."

"Ok, got it. Thank you so much Miss Mira." I said then I turned towards the door then got out. I'm smiling while walking but my fellow interviewers were very tense and nervous.

I heard one of them "Miss Mira is very strict and picky. Did you see one of the interviewers earlier? She cried after being interviewed by her." "Yeah, I heard she's actually the daughter of the owner of this company. I hope I could make it this time." another one said.

Miss Mira is very strict? Why I didn't witnessed it as I was being interviewed by her. She's really different from what they describe her. Tsk!tsk! Murmurs not always fact.

I entered the elevator but I saw about five employees inside. We were in in the 4rth floor when someone entered the elevator. Well it's a Man. The five employees bowed and say,

"Good afternoon Mr. Cleins" he only nods. I didn't see his face because I got stuck here at back😂. He then got out in the 2nd floor. Maybe he has high position here in McCleins' Company.

I woke up early and I dreamed again last night. I started to dream about that man since I was 10 until now in my 21st year of existence.

"Mom I gotta go" as I kissed her cheeks.

"Bye, take care Hana."

I entered the building and proceeded to the register's office to get my ID and signed in my finger print for timing in and out of work. I enter Miss Mira's Office after.

"Good morning Miss Mira."

"Good morning Miss Scott ☺️. Today's your first day, so all you have to do is familiarize this building and your works. So Miss Karrei will be your guide today. After that you can start to work in your office at Finance Department which is in 15th floor." she said. Gosh my floor is in 15th. I think I need to be early for 15 minutes before the time in every morning.

"So Miss Scott, I'm Karrei and I will take you first on the first floor. Then followed by the following until the 16th floor which is the President's office."

"Oh, okay."

"You can call me Kar or Rei Miss Scott when were not in formal situations. Nice to meet you." she extends her hands.

"Hahaha nice to meet you too but you can call me Hana. So we're friends?" I ask.

"Of course friends." she smiled "By the way Hana, did you know that you're very lucky that Miss Mira likes you, I mean she's nice to you but not on others. She's very strict and when the staffs are facing her they are being tense up. Aside from me, she seemed to trust you too." she explained while we're on the the second floor.

"Really? So she's that scary? But I seem to feel comfortable around her."

"You know, I worked for one year as her assistant before she completely trust me? But you? It only takes 2 or 5 minutes yesterday and that surprised me at all."

"Maybe GOD really is good to me since I entrust everything to him."

We were chatting while she introduce all the offices in the building as well as my office in 15th floor. She introduce me to the staffs under my supervision and also the Controller which is Mr. Anderson. I seem to like the department where I'll be working. They all seem nice.

We're currently on the elevator heading to the 16th floor.

"Hana this is the President's office. As you can see the Office of the secretaries were in 14th and this floor is only covered by his office and the conference room because he doesn't want any noise. Only his Secretary is with him which is Mr. William, he's actually his best friend. He actually has a private elevator which actually intended only for him. We can't use that elevator unless he permits us." I nodded to her explainations.

"So it means also that we can't go to this floor until he permits us or we have an important appointment or purpose to him, right."

"Yes, And for that I think we need to get out of here as soon as possible, before he gets here." she said.

"Yeah, you're right. Come on." We're heading to the elevator but before we could came in.

"Miss Karrei? What are you doing here? I don't remember Mr. Cleins permits you to be here today. Do you have a transaction to him?" a man said which might be Mr. William, the secretary.

"I'm sorry Mr. William. I hope you could forgive us this time. I was just showing Miss Scott around since she's new here. " Rei said

"Well it's not an exemption Miss Karrei." A man came out from the President's office. I met a beautiful ocean blue eyes that's directly looking at me. I got tense, but I can't take my eyes off him and my heart beats really fast.

So he is the President. He has black hair, a manly jaw, a perfect pointed nose and kissable lips. Gosh he looked like a model.

"I'm sorry Mr. Cleins." Rie bowed.

"Okay I'll forgive you this time but you should leave without her, because I have something to discuss with her." he said while pointing at me which made me shocked and tense more.
