Entering the house, Li Lian could feel how the people eyes on her. It reminded her of her first time coming to the house starting from when she had just left Japan. 

Since her teens, Li Lian was not very keen on being on the spotlight whether it was a good or bad attention. She remembered passing by the hallways, overhearing the maids' discussion.

'That's is her? The girl that is said to be the long lost daughter of the madam and masters? She looks very plain,' said the first maid.

'What else can you expect she lives on the countryside. She won't look like a princess while Miss Hue Lin is born with silver spoon under her mouth,' the second maid said, 'though I expected more of her since she is the first daughter but what can we do?
