He didn't want to do anything else with her but he couldn't stop himself seeing her like that and he sat on his one knee in front of the couch near Avery's head. She moaned very little in between his kiss and it was a sign that she was not completely unconscious. Hearing her moan, he broke the kiss and started patting her cheek. 

"Hey, honey. Are you listening to me?" He stroked her hair with his free hand and fixed her hair belt.

Very slowly she opened her eyes and looked at him.

"Who are you feeling?" 

"I don't know. I just want to go home. But I also want to take some clothes, small socks and shoes for our baby." She muttered as she was not in her right state but still she had not forgotten about her baby.
