Chapter 2
Na Ri went to a school near her house that she had attended since childhood. She had always known the fact that she was married and the story of how she got married.
When she was younger, she used to want to meet Cha Min and talk to him but her parents told her that they could only meet and be together when they were older as decided by both families as they thought that it would be best if they got to know each other when they were mature. At most, she got presents and a picture of Cha Min every year on her birthday by Cha Min's mother and father.
But as she got older, she got used to not meeting him and continued to live her daily life peacefully without caring much.
Na Ri finished her school as usual and came back home.
"I'm back~"
As she removed her shoes at the entrance to wear slippers, she walked towards the living room and saw that someone was sitting on the sofa.
She moved close to the figure to know who it was.
"DAD!"
She was both excited and shocked to see her father sitting in the living room because whenever he returned to the house, he always called beforehand.
"How come you're here?!" , asked Na Ri with widened eyes.
Her father stood up and with a smile on his face hugged her.
"I missed you, Na Ri"
"I missed you too dad but that isn't the reason why you're here, right?"
"Ha ha. You're smart as always."
Her dad looked at her face with a little sorrow in his eyes, caressed her hair and told her to sit down.
Na Ri sat down on the sofa with him but for a minute, her dad only looked at her face with a serious look and did not say a word.
"???"
"What is it dad? Why are you being so serious?"
At the same time, her mother and her brother also came to the living room and sat down.
"...."
"What is it~? Come on~ Are you all going to just sit and look at my face? Is it that pretty!?"
" Haaah... this girl...". said her mother, breaking the silence.
"Na ri.", said her father.
"Yes?"
"You know about your marriage, right?"
"I do.... What about it?"
"Well... the Cha family are suggesting that you..."
"That I...?"
He paused for a bit and with a deep breath said, " Your in-laws want you to transfer to Cha Min's school"

Na Ri paused as she heard those words come out of his mouth.
"WHAT!?", exclaimed Na Ri.
"WHAT ARE YOU SAYING, DAD!?"
Na Ri's dad placed his hands on her shoulders, looked into her eyes and said," It's that time now, Na Ri!"
"W-what time!?", asked Na Ri while looking at her mom and brother.
Na Ri was preplexed. She could not understand what her father was trying to say.
Her mother stood up and sat near her alongside her father.
"Well... you and Cha Min have been married for seventeen years now and haven't even met each other even once. So, as the both of you are mature now.... You should build your relationship with each other, you know?", said her mother.
Her father nodded as her mother spoke.
" And what better way to do that than to go to school together!!", said her father with a bright smile on his face.
"You... GOTTA BE KIDDING ME!!!!"
Na Ri thought as she looked at her parents.
"B-but mom, dad.... I- How? When? Huh?"
Na Ri's mind went into overdrive as she imagined all sorts of things that could or couldn't happen if she met Cha Min.
"Daughter! Daughter! Calm down~ Breathe.... Breathe.....", said he father as he saw her panicking.
Na Ri took a breath in deeply and a breath out and repeated to for a few seconds.
"Are you okay now?", asked Na Ri's brother who was sitting across the sofa alone.
"Haaa..... Yeah.... Im all good now....", said Na Ri.
'But Dad... changing schools now... I'm in my senior year.... and I also have to prepare for University admission...'
' Na Ri.... Do you remember when you were a child and used to annoy us everyday that you wanted to meet Cha Min? And when we told you that you couldn't, you used to cry....'
As Na Ri remembered the moments, she chuckled as now she thought that what she did back then was so childish and a little cringey
'Well now, the time has come and the both of you have to get to know each other now.'
