Credence shouted, "Dorothy, no!"

As he watched Dorothy's body plummet, Credence's eyes turned bloodshot, and his roar was filled with pain.

He swept towards the window, and slashed at Gabe, who could only watch him in terror.

Just like how he would cut a watermelon, he pierced Gabe's chest with the machete, burying it almost up the its hilt.

Blood gushed out and spattered over Credence's trousers.

Credence kicked Gabe away and jumped out of the window almost reflexively. All he wanted was to grab hold of Dorothy's hand and pull her back.

She was the only woman who had truly loved him, and if he lost her, his world would forever be trapped in darkness. He would lose the will to live.

This silly woman had stayed with him for four years, and he'd never even spared her a second of his life. Yet she'd never complained or hated him, and continued to give him her heart.
