Chapter 172 Malicious

Early in the morning, Jonathan was still in a daze as he was immediately dragged cruelly out of bed towards Credence's suite by Marvin, who was used to waking up early every morning.

Jonathan yawned as he squinted and grumbled, "Marv, what's wrong with you? Why did you get up so early this morning?"

"Credence drank too much last night. It would be better for us to check on him earlier," replied Marvin.

Marvin's voice was low as he said so.

Upon hearing his words, Jonathan no longer complained. He went to Room 1606 and knocked on the door. He shouted, "Credence, rise and shine. Are you awake yet?"

It was quiet inside. Not a single sound could be heard.

He continued to knock a few times, but there was still no response. He could not help but turn his suspicious eyes towards Marvin, "Marv, what's going on? Has Credence left?"

Marvin said firmly, "That's impossible."
