Eri's eye's brightened a bit, he was no longer a vampire doll but an actual vampires infant. 'Does that mean I am a baby?' Certainly not.

Maybe that was a way to grade his strength now. Come to think of it Eri never payed enough attention to the system until now.

'This system saved my life and gave me this powers, my world ranking as also increased I should pay attention to this a bit more,' Now understanding this was the key to surviving in this world Eri sat with his bag hidden behind a car scrolling through the system.

He got a bit wide-eyed thanks to his points of strength and agility, didn't know what intelligence meant but sense.

Taking a few seconds retrospection he could recall the feeling that ran through his spine and related it to sense.

'The sense stat would be really useful in future terms!' Eri gesture day the system trying to fiddle with it, 'how do I invest points?'

As soon as his hand touched the strength stat one was automatically added, so he tapped it four more times. He added one to agility and stamina while one final to sense.

He grinned at it afterwards, "I wanna suck your blood! Ksssh." He joked however, little did he know this action would come back to bite him.

[Rewards]

[Eye of truth Technique Lv.1]

<Technique will grant user power to surpass every if learnt>

<Do you wish to learn this technique>

[Yes] [No]

Thinking like his mother thought him to do Eri recap through the entire text twice, 'seems safe enough and sounds op, after I learn this I would love to know how I would sleep upside down.' he placed his hand on the button [Yes].

*Zwoooorp!!!*

Like his entire body was thrown into a pot of melting metal the effects struck hardcausing Eri to fall and with on the floor wondering why it had to hurt so much.

He twirled on the floor as his entire insides shuddered and his brain shutdown, at this point it was life and death to him.

[System has sensed impurities in your blood]

[You have been contaminated and can only learn half of the skill till detoxicated]

All of a sudden the pain was suppressed and Eri was on the floor regretting his choice. 'I will never attempt that rubbish again.' He cursed from within.

All that stress and screaming just to learn half a technique.

Eri later stood up wearing his bag and cautiously continuing his journey.

//Horror//

Eri had already scaled through many streets and it was night. What he had seen with his eyes were out if this world.

Mutant large snakes, humanoids with crab like heads. Having been chased most of the way and killing a lot of mutant up to this point Eri felt the need to rest.

However the looks of the houses were far more scarier than the streets.

After a long self argument he chose to settle in an empty jeep. That was after introspecting it fully. And it was safe and could easily conceal him within.

He stayed in the back and barricaded the door that if it were to be touched by the slightest he would wake up. He didn't sleep on the sit but welcomed the cold hard metal of the ground using his bag as his pillow.

'I can't risk comfort for safety.' Eri snuggled on himself running his mind through all he did that day, he killed a lot if mutant and made it to level ten after that his levelling up seemed to have met a sudden bottleneck. 'Who knows why that happened, I also drank all the soda from the store to fill two bottle of mutant blood, though they intoxicate me I still need them; if I don't take blood only God knows what might happen.'

'So far I never met a si gle survival in the city, I am so close to home now and all those times I complained I can't trek like a mad man I actually did trek like a mad goat today.' Eri felt his legs throb a bit. No herbs or medicine, no hospitals or health care centers close, this might actually have been an issue if he wasn't a vampire.

'Come to think of it he will people react to my condition as a vampire? They will see me as a mutant and eventually I will become an enemy! Still.... What's really happening in this world?'
