chap 38:- Opening Ceremony
When they reached the venue where the battle tournament was going to be held, they were amazed to see the whole stadium was crowded with millions of fans.
The stadium was divided into ten parts, Red, Brown, Black, Pink, Green, Yellow, Dark Blue, Light Blue, Maroon, and White.
Each of them represented a continent.
And in the centre of the stadium, there were ten groups each wearing the same cloke as their continent.
"My sis!!! I can see her!!!" Zeno jumped on top of the stadium and pointed at one girl who wore a ted cloke which represents the Flare continent.
"Idiot!! Calm down!!!" Catherine pulled him down.
"You will get plenty of chances to meet her!!! Let's complete the mission first!" Even Rain yelled at him.
"Oh... But my sis-" Before Zeno could complete he was interrupted.
"No buts! Just stay here and keep an eye on what is happening! Jeez! I can't imagine he's our leader!" Rain yelled again.
"Alright alright..." Zeno suppressed his excitement and moved his gaze away from his sister.
"Hey, millieous! Come out let's see the opening ceremony together!"
A small head peeked out of his sleeves and slithered in his fingers.
"Hehe, my cutie." Zeno gently kissed it on his head and concentrated on the ceremony.
"Ehhh... Last time I saw he was around twenty meters long... How come soo small?" Rain whispered to Christene.
"That is a Blackconda, it can grow big or small on his master's will." She replied.
'Dam... What a big shot.'
"Now!!! Please bow down to the ruler of the Dark continent! She can control over ten thousand Dark beasts on her own! And she who is blessed by the God of death! Queen Diana!"
"Yeayyyyyy~~!!!" The whole crowd hailed for her.
A tall and dominating lady walked on the battlefield. She had long black hair, she wore a black cocktail dress, and she wore a pair of golden moons. She had a beautiful pair of lips, and her eyes shone brightly.
"Hey, you know who's that bitch?" Zeno whispered into Rain's ears.
"You idiot! Didn't you hear what they said just now?? She's the ruler of Dark!" She lost her control on seeing him act like a kid.
"Alright... Was just asking..." Zeno giggled and concerted on Diana.
"My beautiful people, and energetic youth, I am Diana the ruler of Dark." She bowed elegantly.
"Thank you miss Diana!!"
"You are soo gorgeous!!"
Everyone hailed again.
"Huh... She looks like a bitch in heat... I bet she is a succubus!" Zeno sighed.
"You fucking moron!! Shut up!" Catherine punched him.
"Ouch... Sorry..." He sighed.
"This year's Battle Tournament will be firey! And the winning institution will get ten million gold coins and Five Heaven grade weapons of their choice." She bowed again and exited the stage.
"Yeayyyyyy!!! Will be looking forward to it!!" Everyone roared in excitement.
"Can you tell me why did we decide to attack during the battle tournament??" Zeno asked with a confused look.
"What an idiot!! The only thing he has is strength!" Rain roared in fury
"Listen! During the battle tournament, most of the guards are busy protecting the city."
"Oh... I get it..." Zeno started walking back.
"Now where are you going??" Catherine was tired from correcting Zeno every time. But she knew he went through lots of psychological trauma, which has completely changed him, and he might never be the same again.
"I'm going to the hotel, please infiltrate them on your own." He went ahead without looking back.
"Hey, you moron!!! Get back here!!" Rain yelled at him, but before she could say anything more, Zeno flashed in front of him.
"I'm going ahead, complete your work, and... Don't dare call me again..." His eyes were closed.
"So what?? You are running from your responsibility to?!" Rain lost her temper and grabbed his collar.
"You dummy! Stop!" Catherine tried to stop her but she was too late.
"Don't touch me..."
*Boom*
"Aaack... What are you doing..." Rain coughed a mouth full of blood, Catherine grabbed her before she could crash her head on the ground.
Zeno had punched her in her stomach with almost minimal strength.
"Go on, I will be waiting." His expressions changed, he was no more held a smile on his face, it was dead serious.
"Ok Zeno... Now, please... Go take rest."
"Hmm." After staying that he disappeared into the shadows.
"Hey, idiot... Don't talk back to him when he is serious like that! He will kill you!" Catherine explained to Rain about Zeno's mental issues.
"He will be alright...?" After hearing about his tragic backstory she understood why he behaved like that.
"No worries, he's good at controlling emotions, now let's see who will be our first opponent." Catherine moves towards the screen where the matchups were shown.
"And the last one is, Esteem Soul from Dark continent versus The Enlighted from the light continent!"
Everyone clapped as they saw all the participants exit.
"Ok, everyone let's get ready for our show, Zeno has sent us the details of where the Esteem Soul university is living, we will have to stay alert!" Catherine and others rushed in the directions given by their leader.
