2 Chapter One: The Beginning

School had barely begun and Kiyoko was bored, the two people he considered his closest friends had began acting very different in the weeks after the Sludge Villain Attack. Izuku Midoriya (Deku) had the biggest change between the two, his mumbling had become less frequent and Kiyoko had noticed him using a grip strengthener in class. As much as he supported Izuku when it came to him joining UA, he did often point out that with his Quirk Analysis skills he'd be great at making support items. As for Katsuki Bakugou (Kacchan) his explosive temper had been redirected from bullying Izuku to his studies and his test results were catching up to Kiyokos at an impressive rate. As the day dragged on, Kiyokos mind continued trying to unravel what had happened to Izuku to get him so pumped, he knew Izuku had met All Might and had a brief conversation with him but surely that wasn't enough to warrant this response. It had only been a couple of weeks but Izuku had stopped hanging out with him outside of school all together and when Kiyoko and Izuku did hang out Izuku was always focused on eating and sleeping, which concerned Kiyoko as his friend was strong willed sure however he is still Quirkless.

Kiyoko planned on applying for UA, alongside Katsuki and Izuku, so he did spend his free time practicing with his quirk and was confident that Smoke and Neon were the elements he was most comfortable using, Smoke being his favourite as it was highly versatile in any situation he could think of, Neon was very good at a distance and allowed him to run extremly fast in short bursts. Kiyoko knew he had about 9 months until the entrance exam and had decided that he could train harder and get better with using other elements. Kiyokos family lived Hosu City however Kiyoko moved closer to UA a while ago, he lived alone in a rather big house with a big garden which was perfect for Quirk training. Kiyoko had a notebook which he promised Midoriya he'd fill with info on his Quirk, so far he had put the basics what he can and can't absorb, what his favourites are and what his least favourites are. Kiyoko hated using plants as the had to drain the life from the plants to fill up his "tank" as Bakugou called it, glass was another one he disliked as whenever he tries to use it the glass cuts through his skin.

Kiyoko knew he could probably get a recomendation and join UA the easy way but that wasn't who he was, he was going to give it his all in the entrance exan and prove he deserved to be there. He raised his hand towards the training dummy and shoot a small smoke bullet which didn't reach the dummy that was 20 meters away, from his training he knew that charging up the bullets too long created an explosion similar to Bakugous but it took too long to charge to be used for movement... He began charging up an explosion of smoke and it formed a ball of smoke and he sprinted towards the dummy, as he ran he counted how long he could control the form of smoke, about 5 meters away it exploded launching both him and the dummy back, he could keep the form of smoke before it exploded. He looked at the small burns on his hand as smoke returned to his hand, healing him, he started walking back to his house and looked at the selection of different things he could absorb. A neon light which was currently turned off, a piece of concrete, a glass bottle and a box of matches. His phone bleeped and as he read the message he dashed out the house and ran towards the beach, where his friend Izuku Midoriya had sent an SOS.

When he arrived, he was disgusted by all the litter and garbage covered the beach. Kiyoko wandered the beach looking for his friend, who he had found quickly due to his crying. He found Izuku with his leg trapped under a pile of metal which Kiyoko could only consider had fell on him. "Well this is a site and a half Izuku, is this why you're so tired all the time?" Izuku stopped crying and looked up at Kiyoko, he simply laughed a little and began trying to explain what he was doing when a sharp pain shot through Kiyokos spine and he spun around to see a man with blonde hair and he was extremely tall and skinny, his eyes darted from Kiyoko to Izuku. "Sir can you help? My friend is trapped and I don't think I can find lift this on my own." As Kiyoko said this the blonde haired man, began to inflate and he simply flicked the metal of Izuku.

"Are you ok young Midoriya?" All Might asked helping him up, Kiyoko starred at this interaction and burst out laughing, he walked up to Izuku and place his hand on his chest and smoke covered all of Midoriyas injuries and healed him, this was a technique he'd developed to deal with Midoriyas injuries from being bullied. All Might stared at this and then asked, "Young man, may I ask your name and I must say your Quirk seems highly useful, may I ask what it is called?"

"My name is Kiyoko Ro, my quirk is called Prime Conduit." Kiyoko could see that All Might recognised his family name and he decided that he was going to question what he sensed, "Your quirk, its different isn't it All Might, able to be passed on isn't it?" All Mights smile turned into a serious glare as he became highly suspicious, "My quirk allows me to sense large stores of power and yours seems to have been gaining power for a long time." Midoriya looked at All Might and slowly backed away to return to training. After an hour of interrogating and Izuku vouching for him, All Might explained the basics about One for All and that he had chosen young Midoriya as his successor. "Well Izuku, it looks like your dream has been given a chance, if you need help with combat you know where to find me." Without a second thought he wrote down his address and handed it to All Might, "I live alone and there is more then enough room, I'll heal him if he gets injured again and I doubt sparring with you would be extremely intimidating."
