Izuku sprinted through the forest, determined to find his target, who happened to be Mirko. Today's training focused on honing his hunting skills, but despite his relentless efforts, he had been unable to locate her. Mirko had vanished three hours ago, and no matter what he tried, Izuku couldn't catch even the slightest trace of her presence. This made him suspect that she might have left the forest altogether and was simply toying with him.

'She hasn't left,' Scathach's voice echoed in Izuku's mind, refuting his earlier assumption.

Frustrated, Izuku wondered how Scathach could sense Mirko when he had tried everything and couldn't even detect someone who didn't use mana. He relied on his extraordinary mana sense, capable of detecting even the faintest essence of mana, like that of a little wasp. However, the incredibly potent mana of a powerful warrior such as Mirko remained elusive to him.

In a twist of fate, Mirko suddenly appeared behind him with incredible speed and delivered a powerful kick, sending Izuku crashing into a couple of trees.

"I got bored waiting for you, pest," she taunted.

Izuku swiftly rose to his feet and darted towards her, seeking revenge, but once again, she vanished without a trace.

Another kick to his chin left him reeling, and he cried out, "How? How does she keep disappearing?"

True to his words, Mirko reappeared behind him, pinning him to the ground and remarked, "Maybe you should rely on your quirk. If you can't see what you're missing, then you don't have what it takes."

Izuku stood up and inquired, "How did you manage to make your mana trace disappear? Do you even know what mana is?"

Mirko tilted her head in confusion at Izuku's words and replied, "What the hell is mana? Wait, let me guess, you have some sort of tracking quirk as well?"

"Well, I wouldn't call it a tracking quirk. I can sense the essence of mana, an energy that exists in all living things," corrected Izuku.

To this, Mirko frowned and said, "Well, that's your problem then."

Confused, Izuku retorted, "Why is it a problem? I can literally find anyone with this!"

"Why haven't you found me?" Mirko cut to the chase, forcing Izuku to ponder before admitting, "I... I don't know, okay?"

Mirko smiled slightly, glad that Izuku was not the type to act without thinking, even though she herself never overthinks things. "Look, sit down. I'll explain what you're missing."

Hearing her words, Izuku sat down near a rock, eagerly anticipating her explanation.

"It's instinct; that's what you're missing," Mirko clarified.

Confused, Izuku asked, "Instinct? What?"

"Sure, I might not be a quirk tracking expert, but when it comes to hunting, I've got the game down. Creatures, whether they walk on two legs or four, they all leave trails and cues. But then there are the sly ones, the ones who've mastered the art of evading even the keenest senses, drawing from nature's lessons. That's where you fall short. Your Mana business – you did mention I've got a monstrous stash of that, didn't you?"

"Yes, every great warrior possess an abnormal amount of it, despite not needing it," confirmed Izuku.

"Yet when I escaped, you couldn't sense it?" inquired Mirko.

"Yes, it was like you completely hid it," admitted Izuku.

"You see, that's just my instincts taking the lead. Mana? Never dabbled in it, but stealth missions have been my playground. I excel at melding into the shadows, waiting for the perfect cue, dialing down my heart's beat, ghosting with every step, orchestrating my breath, and taming even the slightest muscle twitch. It's safe to say, by extension, this whole mana thing won't be a challenge for me."

Initially, Izuku had reservations about Mirko's explanation. Although he believed she had the right idea, her communication left much to be desired. He relied on his training with the servants, considering it proof of his excellent instinct. However, a voice he trusted, his master Scathach, disagreed with him.

"She is correct. I don't support her method of explaining things, as I believe it's something you should discover on your own. But the core of her idea is accurate. You truly lack the instinct of a warrior," Scathach said.

Upon hearing his master's words, Izuku's mind started working, and he finally realized what he had been missing all his life. He had sensed it within himself before, but he had never truly harnessed it. Whenever he summoned a savant, he borrowed their powers, including their instinct.

This was especially evident when he transformed into Arther, as he genuinely possessed the instinct skill not just as a warrior but as a true identifiable skill.

Determined, Izuku got up from his seat and looked at Mirko. "Let me try again. Go hide and try to strike me stealthily or hide; I don't care. This time I will find you."

"Alright, let's see what you've got," Mirko responded, turning towards the forest and darting away, seemingly disappearing into the distance.

Izuku closed his eyes and focused his mind. He ignored all his magical senses and concentrated solely on the ones he had honed throughout his life.

"This is it. Become a servant, one with ultimate spearmanship, swordsmanship, archery, riding, stealth, magic, or brute force. Become the true warrior you desire without tapping into your power. Let's do this, Izuku. I can do this. Become one with their powers without summoning them. Focus."

As Izuku focused his mind intensely, he instantly sensed her presence. She moved stealthily, leaping from one tree to another, concealing herself expertly behind him. Her mana was entirely masked, intertwined with the trees and nature, which made it impossible for him to sense her before.

Aware of her approaching, Izuku pretended to be ignorant, biding his time for the opportune moment. And right on cue, the moment arrived as she pounced to strike him.

However, to her astonishment, her strike found nothing but thin air as Izuku swiftly dodged to the right and delivered a forceful kick, sending her soaring towards the trees, breaking a few in the process.

"HOW IS THAT FOR PAYBACK, YOU CRAZY BITCH! AHAHAHA, I did it!" Izuku exclaimed triumphantly.
