Izuku's days of relentless training persisted, showcasing steady growth in both his progress and skills. Not only could he now hold his ground against Mirko, but he had also honed his ability to pinpoint her location 9 out of 10 times.

Seated beside Mirko, Izuku occasionally stole glances at his phone. This, however, began to irk Mirko, who voiced her annoyance, "Are you planning to keep fixating on that device?"

Shifting his attention to Mirko, Izuku assured, "Rest assured, I'm not playing around with it. I'm merely checking the latest news. Have you come across the term 'Hero Killer'?"

Capturing Mirko's intrigue, Izuku elaborated, "There's this peculiar individual who's been targeting and incapacitating heroes. He brands them as phony heroes, criticizing their pay and agency-driven promotion. He's already managed to take down a considerable number of heroes."

"Ah, it seems that villains nowadays conjure up rather peculiar motivations for their crimes. But I'm not particularly intrigued; he doesn't strike me as exceptionally powerful," Mirko responded.

"Well, I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss him. Rumor has it that he possesses an exceedingly potent and concealed quirk. I thought perhaps you and I could venture into the city tonight for some patrol work. Consider it a practical examination," Izuku suggested.

A sly grin played on Mirko's lips as she remarked, "Practical examination? More like a competition to see who can apprehend this 'Hero Killer' first."

Affirming his agreement with a nod, Izuku declared, "Let the Hunt, Begins."

...

Seated together in a café within the bustling city of Hosu, infamous for the activities of the Hero Killer, they maintained vigilant watch while savoring their beverages. Growing increasingly impatient during the wait, Mirko voiced her discontent, saying, "Seriously, this ain't much of a hunt, Ain't it"

As Izuku absentmindedly scrolled through his phone, he let out a sigh and responded, "For the fifth time, our intention is to attract his attention. Given your esteemed reputation as a hero, he is likely to target you to amplify his notoriety. Moreover, a significant portion of his activities has been documented to occur during the night. It's doubtful we'll find any trace of him at this hour."

"Trust me, I know that. I'm just bitchin' 'cause this is borin' as hell," Mirko retorted.

Izuku grinned and suggested, "In that case, allow me to provide some entertainment. Engage in conversation with me. Let's view this as an opportunity, perhaps even a mock date, or even a genuine one if you so desire!"

Raising an eyebrow, Mirko listened attentively to Izuku's proposition. As she grasped his sincerity, she burst into laughter, exclaiming, "You're far too young to try and court me. Are you even 14? Hahaha!"

Izuku corrected her, saying, ""Nah, I'm 16 actually. But hold up, I'm hearin' some positivity there. Does that mean you'd be into me when I hit 18?"

Mirko, taking a more serious tone, responded, "Wait a damn minute. Are you really tryna make a move on me? Haha... And don't you already have two girlfriends or somethin'?"

Maintaining his grin, Izuku quipped, "Well, the more, the merrier!"

Examining Izuku with a serious gaze, Mirko offered her advice,"Listen up, you might act older than your age, but these double girlfriend situations hardly ever work out. People ain't gonna accept it, and it's probably gonna crash and burn. it's really bound to fail eventually, Just get ready for that."

With a puzzled expression, Izuku inquired, "Bound to fail? Not accepted? That's preposterous. Can you pinpoint any inherent flaw in my relationship?"

Frowning, Mirko responded, "Isn't it obvious? It's morally wrong, kid."

Izuku scoffed, "Morally wrong? Allow me to ask, Mirko, what is your perspective on gay relationships?"

Baffled, Mirko questioned, "What does that have to do with anything?"

"Simply answer the question," Izuku insisted.

Complying, Mirko replied, "I guess they are cool."

Izuku nodded knowingly, stating, "Precisely, they are morally accepted. However, not long ago, these relationships were taboo, even deemed a mental ailment. They were viewed as 'morally wrong.' Morality is a malleable concept, Mirko. It's humans who dictate what is morally right or wrong. In my view, an individual having multiple partners is not inherently wrong. It's a matter of personal choice. I didn't coerce my partners into this arrangement; they willingly chose it. So, who are you to declare us as societal outcasts? We will find acceptance, for this isn't a matter for society to dictate. Whether I'm involved with one, two, or even five partners is entirely my prerogative."

Mirko was rendered momentarily silent by his compelling argument. His words struck at the core of the issue – human choices. If he and his partners found contentment in such an arrangement, who was she, or anyone else for that matter, to impede and mock them? As long as their relationship didn't harm society or others, it was on par with any other, a valid and legitimate arrangement.

Given her typically fiery disposition, Mirko's mood soured upon sensing her argument slipping away. She abruptly stood and retreated to her hotel room, uttering, "Whatever, I ain't into this morality stuff anyway. See ya at the hotel. And seriously, watch your back out there. Would suck if you died before I got my 100% shot at you."

Watching Mirko depart, Izuku let out a sigh and murmured, "At least she grasped the essence of my point."

...

at the same time

...

Following their unsuccessful attempt to recruit Stein, the League of Villains began assembling a considerable number of Nomu to unleash upon Hosu. This decision was primarily driven by the need to pacify the tantrum of the childish Tomura, who was seething after his previous failed encounter with Stein.

...

Tenya Ida, one of Izuku's fellow classmates, was also present in Hosu city for his "Field Training." However, the true underlying motive behind his hero-related activities was considerably more ominous.
