20 Chapter : 20 A calamity, caused by me

(MC POV)

I laid my eyes on the gigantic building of UA..It was four tall buildings all connected and it looks like the letter 'H' from all sides..

There was a very large crowd near the gates and the dropping zone..

Very large crowds..the kind of crowd where someone can fart out loud and nobody would know who to blame..

Or..

The kind of crowd that would turn into an orgy if the clothes of the people were to suddenly disappear..

Point is, it was crowded..

I made my way through that crowd and enter the gates..the gatekeeper opened it for me when I showed my form which was given to me by my school..

The inside was not so crowded as only the participants for the exam was allowed to enter.

I see many extras, walking with different expressions..some excited, nervous, serious and some look plain stupid.

There were some head statue of popular heroes who graduated from the institution..

But I paid no heed to those and continued moving forward..

I made my way towards the UA building, then my eyes landed on the back of a boy with a familiar messy green hair..

Deku took a deep breath and puffed out his chest, trying to look confident..

He took a step...The first step towards his dreams..

But then, he tripped himself and was about to fall flat on his face..

Until a girl beside her with light brown hair quickly reacted, touch him and he floted..

"Kya!!" Deku let out a girlish scream because of the sudden weightlessness..

I stopped and watched the scene of Deku making a fool out of himself with an amused smile..

"Its my quirk..Sorry for stopping you." The girl said, her tone cheerful..You could tell that she was a vivacious girl just from her tone..

I could not actually see their faces since their back was facing me but I could tell from her quirk that she was the main heroine..

The main heroine..

...thats it..

I forgot her name.

The girl put her hand together and Deku stop floating and his feet touch the ground.."Sorry but its a bad omen to trip and fall." she continued talking..

"Ua..Ha..Da..Mera..He..Duck..Ack." Deku stuttered uncontrollably..

"I know, this sure is nerve wrecking..*sigh*" the girl replied as if she could understand Deku's mumbling..she completely ignored the mumble, as if she could read and write 'nonsense'..

"Well good luck for the both of us!!" She exclaimed in a cheerful tone and leave the blushing boy..

I walk past him and I looked at his face..His expression was proud and excited..

I did not need to be a cripple, bald mutant professor to know what he was thinking..'I really talk to a girl!!' or something along those lines...his stupid face says it all..

"Don't look so proud..you did not even say a word back." I told the green haired boy as I walked pass him..

"Kacchan!!" Deku exclaimed before following behind me.. .. " What do you mean? We did talk to each other.." he replied meekly..

"Oh? what language were you using? Mumble-lish or Stutter-ese?" I gave a snarky remark..

"Ah..I-I was nervous!!" No shit..I totally couldn't tell..

"Stop making a fool out of yourself." I ignored him and continued forward..

He stumble and followed behind me..

(MC POV)

All the participants were seated in the Auditorium...It was dark and the only light was on the stage..

A man with a sunglass and yellow hair was standing on it..

Then, with an extremely loud and annoying tone he shouted.."Are you guys ready for today's performance!!"

He put his hand on his ear as a gesture of waiting for reply but no one shouted back..

"Oh!!! Tough crowd!!" he yelled again..no ounce of shame in his face..

"Wow!! Its really the voice of President Mic!! I listen to his radio show every week!!" Deku began fangirling..

"Shuddup"..I told him..annoyed

I listened closely as he began telling us about the practical..

Basically we will have a '10 minutes of cityscape maneuver'..We will be assigned different locations for the test to make sure that no one from the same middle school stayed at the same test location...

The main goal is to destroy robots..3 robots..which give points 1,2 and 3 from weakest to strongest..but there will be 4 different kinds of robots..

And we could use any means to destroy it..and we were allowed to bring any weapon we like..

And we were also informed about a weak spot that every robot has...so that people with sneak quirk or others without destructive quirks could shut down the robot..

One student point out about the 4th robot and also told Deku to stop his muttering..

President Mic, then inform us that the 4th robot does not give a point..it was a gimmic we should avoid..

"Plus Ultra everyone!! Good luck.." President Mic finished and we began leaving..

We were all guided to our different locations for the test and I have to say..

"This is just crazy..." It was a perfect imitation of a city..all buildings..cars..water tanks..bridge etc..

"And to think they have many grounds like this.." I guess UA is just built different..

Well..it shows that the country is not suffering from hunger or homelessness i guess..

There was a wall surrounding the whole 'fake' city and we stood infront of a giant gate..

I saw many other participants..Some brought weapons like sword, hammer, and even stunt gun..

As I look through them one by one my eyes landed on one girl and..

The sight of her took my breath away..My heart skip a beat, then the second..and third..

Like an old engine, far passed its prime..my heart slowed to a stall before pulsating..then it began beating erratically, roaring back to life with newly found vigor...

I thought it would jump out for a second..

The girl had light brown hair with baby bangs and two longer parts of hair on the side of her face...

Her face was round..almost in the shape of a heart..and it was very cute..like extremely cute..

She was around 5'1 or 5'2 feet tall..I could not see her body clear enough to describe it, since she wore lose clothings..

A flawless face..each part of her face, eyes, lips, chin, etc compliments each other..forming an image of perfection..

Glossy skin that was free from any blemishes...and a permanent small blush adored her cheek..

She had a cute small nose and soft pink lips that urge me to take a bite..

But what captivated me the most was her large, hazel brown eyes..It was warm, kind, cheerful..and right now it was focused..

She had big eyelashes that were naturally curled..and it took the beauty of her eyes to a whole new level..

As if feeling my gaze she turned towards me and we lock eyes..

Her eyes imprisoned mine..I couldn't look away..

Then her plump lips curled up and she waved slightly at me..with a small smile..

The smile was more spectacular than than the giant city which amazed me before...

'The beautiful creature smiled' thats the only thing in my mind..

Few moments and my sense finally came back...I looked away rather bashfully..

But I was sure my face did not show my thoughts..

I grab the part near my heart and voice out.."What the fuck just happened..."

That girl...was she the girl Deku talked to??

'Was she not who I thought she was? Was this her quirk?' Who was I kidding, I knew exactly what's happening...

'I was crushing....hard' Damn...thats annoying..

"Focus..Focus.." I muttered and force the shadow of that brilliant smile out of my mind..

"This is normal...I am a teen afterall..its normal..I won't let this distract me" I convinced myself..

'Yes..it won't happen again.' I thought to myself before turning and looking at her again..

She was also looking at me and when I turned, her eyes found mine and she quickly turned away..

She looks shy..

'See...She is so pretty-' Fuck!!..

'I mean, she is ordinary..ordinary girl' I was not prepared before and got caught off guard..it will not happen again..

I was not going to fall in love...love will fall in me..

"BEGIN!!!!" President mic shouted loudly and everyone immediately rushed inside..searching for robots to destroy..

My mood also shifted..getting ready for a battle..

"Make way for me extras!!" I yelled loudly before I exploded forward, my shoes turn to ash..

I overtook all the others and even the guy with engine legs...the guy looked shocked...

My eyes landed on the first robot..a 1 pointer robot..

I turned, my legs facing forward as my feet crash into the robot...Explosion erupted from my feet and the robot was destroyed..

'1 point' I flew to the sky and look down..I noticed all the other robots and I dive down towards the place with the most robots..

I landed on top of a 2 pointer robot which loooked like a scorpio...crushing it with the momentum of my downward dive..

But still, I feel like its not enough...my feet exploded and the robot was reduced to nothing but scraps..

"Hahaha..I thirst for some engine oil!!" 'And I will bathe in their fuel...'

The 1 pointer was fast but fragile..only a little harder than a hard plastic..

The 2 pointer was tricky, with its tail..it had the ability to climb buildings but its back was a blind spot..

The 3 pointer was strong..it was big and it was very durable..but it was slow..

But all this meant nothing to me..My flames melt them and my explosions crushed them..

It was almost too easy..

I destroyed countless of them...Maybe earning over hundred points..

My blood boils in excitement...and I used my power without holding back..

After around 8 minutes in, an earthquake suddenly hit the city..the ground shook and trembled..

'No..it is not an earthquake..' I looked up and there it was...A giant robot..staring down menacingly..

I was a little far away so I put some of my power in my eyes and it improved my sight exponentially...

I saw the others running away quickly..It was not only terrifying to fight the thing but you would gain nothing from fighting it..

'Cowards..hehehe all the fun for me I guess..'

"This is exciting" I got ready to fight, summoning all the power I could, I was going to shock everyone..

But then, the robot brought his arm up and swing it down to the ground...

It caused a tremor through the entire city..The shockwave from the simple gesture crushed many buildings..

Clouds of dust rise and part of the city was completely destroyed..

"Well..on second thoughts..Maybe this is enough for today" Yeah...that was stronger than I thought..

What in the actual fuck were they thinking!! Putting something like this in the test..

But then, I saw the brown haired girl just a few meters from the giant robot..she was stuck in the rubble of a collapse building..

Her beautiful eyes that captivated me with its warm hazel brown colour was now filled with desperation..

Her lips which curled up in a breathtaking smile, now sits in a frown..pulling at my heartstring..

Her eyes was pleading for help..an opposite from the cheerful eyes that could light up any room..

Her pitiful image angered me to no end and I want to completely annihilate the one causing it..

My wrath and bloodlust was directed to the giant robot which tainted what I thought to be the epidome of beauty...

"Hah...On third thought, I really want to destroy the robot" I chuckled darkly before my feet and heels exploded...

I shot forward at breackneck speed..and rush towards the robot...

My feet ignited in flames as I flew towards one of the legs of the robot...

I flew past the girl and brought my hands forward...A giant explosion and then the leg of the robot was gone...

It fell down and crash on the ground and stopped moving forward..

I quiclky maneuver myself and fly towards the girl...I threw away the rock which was ontop of her legs and help her up..

Seeing no injury on her feet I looked at her and said "Go.."

She looked reluctant at first so I told her again "GO!! I can handle it!!" and she finally did..

I turned around and saw robot pushing itself up with one hand...He swung his other hand towards me but I quickly dodged..

I took to the sky..and when I was high enough I stop and looked down..

I saw that the girl was now in a safe distance and I also found nobody else around so I could go all out..

I brought my hands up and aim my palm at the giant robot that tried to stand up..

A ball of pure destructive power gathered in my palm...I muster all the power I could...

I joined my wrists together and curled my fingers...my hand was curved and in the middle was the ball of power...

I compressed it and make it as small as I could..I added more power and compressed it more..until it was only the size of a table tennis ball...

Then I let go of that power but I did not let it lose..I still compress it...

My power shot out like a lazer and it cut the ground like a butter..

The lazer continued forward unil it reached the robot and vertically slice its whole body in half..

"Die.." I stated coldly..

The ground, nor the robot fall or split apart..there was silence, the world was quiet..as if reality was processing what just happened..

Then the place my lazer cut became red and melted...then a giant explosion occured on the cut lines...

*BOOM!!!* It was a disaster...a calamity..caused by me..
