life has taught me

time got more than two hands

it steals from us from all sides

while we keep watch of one thing

we lost another

(3rd POV)

[10 months before the Entrance Exam of UA]

(Inside a classroom)

"You guys are all third years now...Its time to start thinking seriously about your future." A teacher with short stature said to the listening students..

Age was getting on to him if his wrinkles were anything to go by and he had a very very real hair..its very realistic because its obviously real..more real than any other hair..

"I would hand out this future colums but...I guess you all want to be a hero!!" he shouted as he threw the papers into the air..maybe he thought it was cool.

"Yeahh!!" The students all yelled with enthusiasm, activating their quirk..

Some elongation of fingers and necks..some pluck their eyeballs out while some had wings sprout out of their backs..

All were excited...to be a hero..

A job that one could only dream to have before the emergence of quirks..but now it has become a reality..

The government paying you handsomely, fame, public support, fame and it also gave weight to your name..

It was a job everyone wish to have...but only some with powerful quirks or exceptional abilities could become one..

"Yes you all have amazing quirks but remember you're not allowed to use it in the school!!" the teacher told the kids..

Then the children began to murmur to themselves..talking about which hero school they would go to..

"Hmm I heard that Bakugo was aiming for UA highschool.." Once the teacher's words left his mouth the class got silent and stared at the boy at the last row..legs up on the table and looking at the ceiling..

He looked bored out of his mind..

"Oh..Yeah Bakugo must be aiming for that National School"

"The cut off score this year was 79!"

"He would definitely get in!!"

"He is so cool!!"

The kids began discussing about the news..But it came as no suprise to them..Bakugo was strong and he was good academically too..

"Hah...I wonder what he is thinking?" The girls look at him with dreamy eyes..

Meanwhile the boy was completely oblivious to his surroundings..He was bored out of his mind so he did what he always do in class..

Daydream..'Should I take the wig off the teacher? Maybe there will be a secret treasure map in his baldness?' the boy's thought could never be guessed..

"You're going to try for UA too..isn't that right Midoriya?" The teacher added..

The boy, Midoriya was trying to shrink as small as he could when all the eyes were on him...eyes of disbelief..

"Pftt...HAHAHA" Then the whole classroom erupted in laughter..

"Midoriya? No way"

"Only good grades could not get you into the hero programme!!"

The kids laughed at the boy..A completely different reaction to the previous one..

Only goes to show how different people with strong quirks are treated compared to quirkless ones..

Quirks became one of the main measure of your worth as a human..And you would have to eat dirt if you are worthless..

Which is cruel but humans do always try to find a way to measure or compare each others worth.. If not quirk it was wealth, if not wealth its talent, appearance, strength etc..

"*sigh*" The boy in question just sigh and sat there awkwardly as his classmates made fun of him

"Tch" Bakugo clicked his tongue as he looked at Midoriya..'Why does he have to be such a pussy..No matter how much he trained'

(3rd POV)

Midoriya was walking home by himself..deep in thought..

He carried a notebook in his hand as he read the things the wrote down from the villain attack this morning..

The quirks of the heroes and villains, the weakness, the strengths..

It has become a routine for him at this point..being a quirkless it is important for him to have all the advantage he could get..

Gathering information..how to counter certain quirk types..all that stuff..

As he was walking down the street he heard a shout full of fear "KYAHH!!".

He moved..

His body immediately moved towards the direction..his mind racing on every scenario he could face..getting ready to face anything..

'Expect the Unexpected..and you might be shocked when the expected happen..So expect the the expected and the unexpected'.

As he got closer and closer to the scream he eyed his surroundings for any possible weapons..he took a rock..seeing nothing else to grab he searched his bag and took out the stunt gun and the pepper spray he carried..

Putting both of them in his pocket for easy access he quicken his pace..

He saw a group of people gather and rushed through it.." Can you please move?. Excuse me thank you!!"

The people gasps and barely notice Midoriya..

As he got through, he could see a sludge like villain trying to enter inside the woman's mouth..He covered the woman's body with his mud like body..

"Stop Struggling!! It will only hurt a bit, let me borrow your body!!" the villain hissed..

The woman shouted out for help whenever she got the chance but no one dared to go help her..

The people just stared..and waited..

'Something must be done' this was on everyone's mind but no one dared to think 'I must do something!!'

One of the downside of having a hero..people are too dependent on them..not even trying to help each other..

They just waited for the heroes fo do something about it..

They just viewed it as a natural disaster or something.. thinking that it is not their job to help her, an excuse for their selfishness..

"Hey!! You villain!!" But Midoriya was different..he knew he must do something..

He rushed towards the villain and dropped his bag on the floor..he threw the rock as he approach the scene..

The rock passed through the villain but it got his attention "STAY AWAY KID!!"

But that also passed through Midoriya's ear..

Physical attack immunity?' He noted

He reached the woman and tried to tear off the villain with his hands but it was not working.."Don't worry!! I will do something!" Midoriya said trying to sound assuring but he was really bad at it..

He was shaking uncontrollably..His eyes showed his panic...but great determination was hidden in its depth...

He racked his brain but he got no idea..Then he did something that he could only think off..

"What are you doing boy!!" Midoriya took a huge chunk of the villain in his mouth and tried to swallow it..

He also tried to get covered in the villains mud like body..

He was trying to replace the lady...

"A medium body..Fine!! If thats what you want!!"The villain exclaimed as he left the woman and focused on Midoriya..

Midoriya struggled to not let his body taken over..But he was losing..The villain was covering his whole body now..sharing his mouth and his eyes just above his head..

Then Midoriya took out the pepper spray and sprayed it where he thought the eyes of the villain he would be..he made his guess based on what he saw when the sludge villain try to take over the lady..

And luckly he was right..The villain screamed in pain and lossen his control.." Ahhh!!!"

Midoriya then took out the stunt gun and aimed at the villain and *shock*bzz

"AHHH!!" electricity cracled at the villain's body and he hopped away from Midoriya..

Midoriya stood up and went towards the lady who fell unconscious when the sludge villain left her..

Standing infront of her, he raised the stunt gun towards the villain and screamed "You won't hurt her as long as I Am Here!!" His tone was shaky and squeaky but it also contained a strong will..

(A thin blonde man's speechless face morphed into a smile as he saw the scene..)

The villain slowly got better and he began to grow in size..his mud/liquid like body towering over Midoriya..

"YOU!!" His eyes red with anger..the veins in his eyeball were visible..

But then a coarse but lound voice sounded from behind the villain.."Rushing into trouble again?? Deku?!"

"Kacchan!!"

The villain turned towards the newcommer and rushed at him immediately...

The boy just stood there, maybe frozen in fear and he put up no resistance.."Hahaha!! You are mine!!" the villain yelled in glee..

"NOO!! DON'T!!" Midoriya yelled in worry..

"Its too late now!! Your friend is mine!!" the villain replied back..his mud like body covering the entire body of the boy..ready to take control over the boy...

But Midoriya's worry was not for the boy...it was for him..

He was about to take control over his body but- *Boom*

And explosion occurred from the entire body of the boy and the villain's body splatter everywhere from the shockwave..

The eyes of the villain on the ground was shocked as he stared at the boy..

"Disgusting" The boy said as he bore his gaze dowards and stare right at the villains eyes..

Hi red eyes shone with fury...

But before he could do anything...All Might showed up..

"Worry not!! I am here!!"

(3rd POV)

Midorya walked home alone..the sun beginning to set in the horizon..making the sky redish orange..

And out of the corner..All Might suddenly showed up.."FOR I AM HERE!!"

[After some inspiring scene I could not be bothered to write]

Midoriya was bowing down in 90° angle..tears fell down his eyes and they shined as the rays of the setting sun shone on them..

It was tears of joy...new hope..a chance..

To him..the setting sun felt like the rising sun..bringing new hope of 'tomorrow'..

"YOU CAN BECOME A HERO!!" Happiness no mind could measure....

He grit his teeth and clench his beating heart that was about to jump out due to the sheer emotion he felt right now...

A miracle he was waiting for...the stars grant his wish..a dream he would finally see..

"MMMM!!" A muffled scream..a wail..

...

...

Yes..indeed..Great joys weep..
