5 Class Representative Election Day

"Good morning everyone, today will start a bit differently, we'll be hosting elections to decide who will be this class' Representatives. We'll be holding a vote, so write two of your classmates names down, the first option will be your pick for Class Representative, and your second will be Class Vice Representative." Mr. Aizawa greeted.

Ms. Kaoru handed out a slip of paper to all of us, this was gonna be quite difficult, who would I pick? Naoki would be a good option if he wasn't hot-headed at times. Inazuma is... Well... Inazuma. I decided to write down Ishimoto and Mitsuri's name on my slip of paper. After a couple of minutes, we all passed our slips of paper up to the front for collection, Mr. Aizawa took them to count out the names.

"Okay, first things first, the person with the most votes for Class Representative is... Mabel Leonidus. And the person with the most votes for Vice Representative is... Naoki Bakugo." Mr. Aizawa announced.

Naoki looked at me and smirked, give me a damn break, this was gonna be quite the interesting year. I felt someone tap my shoulder, I looked to my left and saw Hatoru holding up a piece of paper that said "Nice job!" on it.

"Thank you, Hatoru!" I smiled.

[A Couple Hours Later...]

We just finished our mathematics class, which was quite easy like usual! It was time for our first Modern Hero Art History class! Apparently, the teacher didn't want to come in until they were ready. As the door slid open, I heard the sound of high heels clicking against the tile. A woman wearing a costume of highly sexual nature walked in.

"Good afternoon class, I'm the Rated R Hero: Midnight, I'll be your teacher for this class!" She greeted.

I saw Inazuma lean forward in his seat, his eyes were firmly transfixed on her. She let off a smile as she surveyed the room.

"Ooo, I can tell a lot of you have loads of energy, good! This class will be fun for me!" She winked.

Inazuma looked over at me with an intense smile on his face, "I love this class already!"

Midnight took attendance, I think my Father told me about her, but she looks so young! Wasn't she a teacher here when my Father was in school? I guess age doesn't alter some of our looks? Unless it's a part of her Quirk... I don't think I should question how she looks so young. We started up our first lesson on the history of Quirks and the different types of Quirks. It was all extremely interesting, I picked up a lot of new things that I hadn't realized about my own Quirks as well! Afterwards, we were dismissed for lunch, I sat with Mitsuri, Ishimoto, Saizaki, Yamashiro, and Naoki.

"So, I wonder what you guys'll do being that you're our class' leaders! Oh! Maybe you'll be able to decide what we do from now on!" Mitsuri pondered.

"Heh, I'd love to do that! I'm gonna fucking be the best Vice Rep this school's ever seen!" Naoki laughed.

"I wouldn't let that power get into your head, Naoki. I'm sure we're just only representing our classmates, not deciding on lesson plans or anything like that. Which means that you have to act civil." I responded.

He crossed his arms, "Pfft, easy enough!"

"Alright, then compliment Saizaki, it shouldn't be that hard." Yamashiro chimed in.

"WHAT'S THAT GOTTA DO WITH ANYTHING?!" Naoki roared.

"Well, if you're going to be in a leadership position, there's times where you'll need to praise your peers for doing an excellent job. Typically to get their morale up, you know?" I answered.

He didn't say a word, he grumbled something before turning to Saizaki. He narrowed his eyes and looked rather annoyed as he made eye contact with her.

"You've got cool horns." He monotoned.

"You think they're cool?!" Saizaki beamed.

"Yeah, now don't let it get to your head, alright?" Naoki sighed.

She kept of her horns while smiling, Naoki leaned back in his seat and looked away from her. We conversed some more before the bell rang to dismiss us back to class.

"Oi, Mabel, I wanna talk to you about something." Naoki told me.

"Okay! Would you like to talk after school?" I nodded.

He nodded back at me, I had a distinct feeling as to what he was wanting to talk about. Instead of having a regular lesson plan, Mr. Aizawa told us to change into our hero costumes to board a bus. This was for a rescue exercise for our Hero Basic Training class, we were heading to this place called the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, or what's also known as the U.S.J.

[30 Minutes Later...]

Most of us were asleep on the bus ride to the U.S.J. Naoki sat next to me, I was getting a little nervous, he hadn't said a word to me since we left the lunchroom today!

"It was his, wasn't it?" He spoke up.

I looked at him with confusion, "Who? What are you talking about?"

Naoki shifted in his seat before looking out of the window. He didn't say anything back to me, I looked down at my hands, I guess he already knows. Soon, we arrived at the U.S.J., all of us were guided in by Ms. Kaoru. Mr. Aizawa stood next to... Dad and Dynamight?

"Dad?" Naoki and I both puzzled.

"Hey! We're here to observe you guys during your rescue exercise!" Dad smiled.

"And we're here to teach you brats as well, so you better listen up and listen good, got it? We'll be splitting you up into groups of 4, you'll be responsible for rescuing a 'civilian' that has been planted in a random location in the zones." Mr. Bakugo added.

Dad split all of us up into 5 groups of 4, I was working with Chou, Naoki, and Kotake. We were placed in the Mountain Zone of the U.S.J., Chou flew up into the air and looked around.

"I'll scout around to see if I can't find him! They shouldn't be too far!" He shouted down to us.

I gave him a thumbs up, Kotake followed him, leaving just me and Naoki alone. We began to search the surrounding lower areas of the mountain range.

"Ishimoto's Dad gave you his power, didn't he, Mabel?" Naoki asked.

I guess there wasn't any point in lying anymore, I sighed before telling him the truth.

"Your Dad told you everything, right?" I spoke up.

"He did, he told me everything I needed to know about this 'One For All' Quirk. It just so happened to match what happened when I saw you and Mitsuri fight. It didn't take me too long to draw the conclusion myself either. I just needed more evidence to solidify my thoughts. My question to you is this..." He answered.

He looked over at me, "...He wasn't picking favorites, was he? You've already gotten a strong Quirk, not to mention the fact that your Dad and him are best buddies, so is that the case?"

"No, that wasn't the case, Naoki. He simply needed someone to carry it on, there wasn't any favoritism in mind." I replied.

He kept quiet afterwards, I walked over to him to see if he was okay. I put my hand on his shoulder to which he moved it off of it.

"Hey! I think I got somethin' over here!" Kotake shouted.

Naoki and I rushed over to where we heard her voice. She was standing in front of a cave, it was rather dark in there! Chou landed down next to us and peered inside.

"One of you guys wouldn't happen to be a human glowstick, would you?" Kotake wondered.

She looked at me, then all of them looked at me, "Good grief..."

I activated Gear Two, the light from my Overdrive was more than enough to light up the cave. I led them into the cave, we came across the training dummy, it was sitting casually on a rock. Naoki hauled it over his shoulder as we exited the cave.

"Sooo... What now? Do we just leave the thing here or do we take it with us?" Chou questioned.

"Hold on, let me ask my Dad." I spoke up.

I looked over in the direction that I felt his Heat Energy, "Hey, Dad, we found the 'civilian'. What do we do now?"

"Just bring 'em on back over to the main entrance, I'm surprised you guys found it that fast!" Dad responded telepathically.

I nodded before turning over to the others.

"Alright, he said that we can just bring it over towards the entrance." I relayed the info.

We all took the training dummy up towards the central plaza. Naoki still wouldn't say anything to me, neither would he really look at me. Dad, Mr. Bakugo, Mr. Aizawa, and Ms. Kaoru were waiting up by the middle of the plaza. Naoki put the training dummy down on the ground. His Father went to give him a fist bump but he ignored it, Naoki turned away from him and sat down to look at the other zones.

"What's his problem?" Mr. Bakugo wondered.

"Dunno, he's been a gloomy bear ever since we found that training dummy." Kotake remarked.

I didn't utter a single word to them, but I could tell that my Dad felt that something was wrong with me as well.

[Several Hours Later...]

"H-Hey, Naoki! Wait up!" I called out to him.

He stopped and looked back at me, the entire time at school, he hadn't talk to Ishimoto or I at all. Naoki turned around to face me, what could I even tell him to make him feel better?

"Do you... Wanna talk about this in private?" I asked.

"Okay, fine." He answered.

I reached my hand out to him, he grabbed it and we flew up to the roof of U.A. We sat down next to one another, looking out towards Musutafu.

"Why was it you?" He spoke up.

I looked over at him, "Naoki, I..."

I stopped as I saw tears go own his face for the first time ever. He wiped one side of his face before continuing to speak.

"You've got a good enough Quirk as it is, why would he give it to someone like you? I've known about this ever since I was younger, it... It was something I strived for nearly every single day of my life. S-So... Was it pointless to even dream about it? I wasted nearly my entire childhood fantasizing about something that was never going to happen in the first place. I'm such a goddamn idiot..." He sniffled.

I looked down at my hands, he was right, Naoki was more right than what he could've ever been at any given moment. The more I thought about it, the more I realized just exactly how much of a Quirk glutton it made me look, having a strong Quirk and then getting another even stronger Quirk? Not to mention the fact I could create nearly anything I desired. But at the same time, I didn't want to put him in danger too.

"I... I didn't know you felt that way, Naoki. You're right, I already have some amazing Quirks at my disposal, not to mention I've been second guessing myself with this One For All thing. But after hearing everything you've just told me, how passionate you are about it... You really should've been the one to hold it. But I can't let you get into harm's way, that Shigaraki guy is after this power, I don't want you getting chased after as well." I told him.

"You aren't scared of him, are you?" He asked.

I nodded my head, "I am, but then again, who isn't?"

[10 Minutes Later...]

I arrived back at home, Mom told me that she was going to be out for a while and that Dad wasn't going to be home for a while, so she left me to watch Ashi. I went up to his room to check on him, he was coloring away in one of his coloring books.

"Hey, Ashi, whatcha doing?" I smiled.

"Oh, Mabel! I'm coloring stuff, you wanna see?" He chirped.

"Sure, I'd-" I stopped midway.

That smell in the air, it smelled like... Death? I only had enough time to throw a shield over Ashi before an explosion of dark energy ripped through the house!

*THIRD PERSON*

Fire and heavy amounts of smoke rummaged throughout the Leonidus' home. Mabel laid on the ground, bloody and heavily injured from the blast. As the smoke and her vision began to clear, a terrifying sight was seen looming in the sky.

"There you are... Mabel Leonidus... I had quite the good hunch that you'd be out here. What a... Lovely... Home your family has." Shigaraki smiled.

Ashi cowered behind Mabel, tears streamed down his face, Shigaraki tilted his head as he stared at him. Mabel struggled up to her feet as Ashi helped her up.

"Hmm... I didn't realize that they had another one... Perhaps I can kill him as well." Shigaraki monotoned.

"Y-You lay... A goddamn finger... On him... You'll be missing your arms permanently..." Mabel panted.

Shigaraki simply cackled at her statement, he suddenly stopped laughing as he held his hand out, a dark array of energy began to manifest at the palm of his hand. He let off one more smile before launching the huge attack towards Mabel and Ashi. Mabel flicked a gust of wind towards Ashi, she looked back and smiled at him.

"Ashi... I love you so much..." She telepathically told him.

With nothing that she could do, Mabel closed her eyes and accepted fate with a smile on her face.

A huge ray of blue Overdrive crashed down from the sky, eradicating Shigaraki's attack on Mabel! Mabel fell to the ground and began to breath heavily due to her injuries, she kept a smile on her face as she heard footsteps come up behind her. Ashi returned and held Mabel as close to him as possible. The pillar of Overdrive disappeared into one single source, a source that made Shigaraki give off a look of fear.

"N-No... You..." He shuddered.

Ashi's eyes widened with delight, "Papa!"

In front of Shigaraki stood an intensely angered Alyx Leonidus, his ice cold stare pierced Shigaraki's darkened soul. Ashi kept smiling as he made eye contact with him. His finger's began to tremble as he noticed that Leonidus' body began to be enveloped in his Overdrive.

"Uh oh... You made Papa mad!" He giggled.

"Tenko... How dare you... You have the audacity to attack my family like this... You goddamn coward..." Alyx fumed.

His body became encased in his blue and white Overdrive, the symbol of his hanafuda earrings began to glow on his torso. His eyes filled with nothing but his Overdrive as his aura exploded out, covering the area around them! Ashi helped Mabel sit up, she let off a weak smile as she looked on towards her Father.

"Tenko Shimura, mark my words, this is your last fucking day on Earth!" He roared.

Alyx Leonidus appeared in front of Shigaraki within seconds, one quick fist sent him sky rocketing through a distant mountain, shattering the top half of it into nothing but dust! He reappeared in front of Shigaraki with his hand above him, a huge bolt of Overdrive came soaring down from the clouds, exploding upon impact with him. The mountain top had been completely flattened out, smoke billowed from the center, acting as if it were a volcano ready to erupt.

"Wowee, Papa sure is pissed!" Ashi remarked.

"A-Ashi...! Don't... Use that... Word..." Mabel scolded.

"Oh, sorry Mabel!" He replied.

As the smoke and dust settled, Leonidus looked towards where he last saw Shigaraki, his Overdrive deactivated as he noticed the empty spot where he once laid.

"It was a damn trick... I knew he wouldn't have exposed himself this early, what was he trying to do?" Alyx wondered.

Leonidus made his way down to Mabel and Ashi, he looked at the destruction that Shigaraki's clone caused to his home.

"He's strong, there's no doubt about it, we might be in for one hell of a ride with him." He thought to himself.

He hurried towards Mabel, he knelt down next to Ashi and her, he hugged them both tightly.

"Thank goodness you're okay, I should've been home sooner, I apologize to both of you." Alyx spoke softly.

"It's alright Papa, that was really scary, but I was okay once you showed up!" Ashi reassured him.

*LEONIDUS' P.O.V.*

I coughed up blood, "I... I can't feel my entire body."

Dad healed me up, Mom came home and rushed over to us as well, I heard more people come up to us.

"Sensei! Are you alright?" A woman asked.

"I'm fine, Selina, can you and Sota sweep the area? Take Kirishima with you as well." My Father responded.

Aunt Liz helped Dad reconstruct the house after they tended to my injuries. Was Shigaraki dead now? There's no way he survived those attacks Dad did to him. Mom gave me the biggest hug I think she's ever given me in my entire lifetime!

"Thank the heavens you're okay! You had me worried sick when I saw this on the news when I passed by one of those televisions in town! I should've taken you both with me!" My Mother cried.

"I... You're crushing my ribs... Mom..." I croaked.

Dad walked over to us while holding Ashi, "Now you know how I felt when I was younger!"

I still couldn't shake the feeling of how easy it was for Shigaraki to dispatch me like that. Then again, I was off guard, maybe I would've been alright if I was able to sense it. I'm sure Deku would be talking to me at school about this whole thing tomorrow, I also had to discuss something with him.
