Soon the police came as Shun and Nejire handed the man that they defeated to them, now it was their job to investigate the matter as to, who the man was, and why the family was attacked.

Shun and Nejire were then asked some questions by the police about the incident and how they handled it.

The two of them then left the site as they continued their patrol.

Later that day, once their patrol was done, Shun and Nejire returned to the agency. They were then called by Ryukyu who was happy about their achievement and praised them for how they handled the incident. No harm was done to the civilians while the damage was kept to a minimum. "So, anything that you two want to report about the incident?" asked Ryukyu.

"The person who attacked the family was someone who had a strong quirk. I can't understand why such a strong person is assassination in broad daylight while also trying to make the assassination look like suicide. I hope that I am wrong but we could presume that there is a new or upcoming underground association doing dark and shady stuff. They are receiving clients, but they are making sure to not come to light just yet." said Shun.

Nejire and Ryukyu just looked at Shun with their eyes wide open and blinked in surprise.

"...You got all that from just one incident?" asked Ryukyu still surprised by Shun's analysis.

'Well, back at the lab father and others used this and a lot of other tricks so I am just familiar with all this.' thought Shun as he just shrugged his shoulders in response.

Ryukyu looked at Shun for a while before she sighed and said, "I will inform the police department and the other agencies about this theory, don't know whether they will believe this or not though."

"Contact night eye and explain the situation to him. Tell him that I came up with this, and he will do the rest," said Shun knowing full well that if there was someone who was as paranoid and analytical as him was the man known as Nighteye. Shun would not be surprised if that workaholic all-might fanboy was already on this case.

"All right. Anything else?" asked Ryukyu.

The two of them just stood silently making Ryukyu nod as she dismissed the two of them before looking toward Shun.

"Shun, tomorrow at 6:00 a.m. sharp come here we will be dealing with your request," said Ryukyu.

Shun just gave a nod as he and Nejire exited her office.

Ryukyu just looked at the two kids leaving her office as she immediately got back to her job. If what Shun deduced was true then the situation was quite dangerous. She sent the message to all the agencies that she knew of while sending a special message to Nighteye's agency just like Shun told her.

And not long after that, she started receiving responses from various agencies with some of them mentioning similar incidents happening in these areas as well. Night Eye even sent a whole detailed report on a dozen of incidents that have happened in a few months were similar. He was already investigating these incidents and now knowing that those incidents were happening in different areas as well made Nighteye and the other heroes serious.

'Shun really brought a serious matter to light before it was too late. He just keeps getting better.' thought Ryukyu as she received another message from Nighteye.

Tell Shun, to get on the investigation as well, and report every instance that he comes across. Keep an eye on him, he has a bad habit of slacking off. Make sure to teach him strictly, he might be a bit lazy but there won't be any complaints if he gets to work. Scold him if necessary.

"Rather than a hero this seems more like written from the perspective of a strict parent," muttered Ryukyu with a sweatdrop. She was right though, both Shun and Nighteye were like uncle and nephew in all but on papers. They cared for each other and even though Nighteye may not show it, he was very protective of Shun and didn't want him to stray on the wrong path and achieve the best that he could. Shun too respected Nighteye a lot, he may act annoyed around him but he would not even take a second to jump into danger to save him.

Anyway, leaving the tsundere uncle and nephew aside, currently back into his normal clothes, Shun was waiting for Nejire. They were going to the restaurant as promised and he was quite hungry because of the incident in the afternoon, so they had to miss lunch.

Soon Nejire came down as well in her causal clothes.

She bid goodbye to the people of the agency as Shun just gave a bow to them.

The people working in the agency smoked at them while quite a few of the women in the agency gave a thumbs-up to Nejire who just gave a nod with enthusiasm.

"Let's hurry up Shun!!"

The always cheerful Nejire was in action as she grabbed Shun's hand and started pulling him.

Shun who was familiar with her and her touchy actions didn't get alert. Had it been someone random who grabbed his hand as forcefully as that, then that person who be on the ground with their arms twisted behind their back and an energy blast aimed at their head about to blast it.

Shun just squeezed her hand back as he pulled her a bit making Nejire stop and look at him.

"No need to hurry."

Nejire just nodded as she started walking beside him with her usual smile but didn't let go of his hand. Shun didn't free it as well since for some reason or another it felt nice. Almost like how he and Rumi-

'Shit! Rumi's words and Nejire's actions from the sports day are affecting me.' thought Shun as he was about to pull his hand away. But then his gaze fell on Nejire who had a smile on her face. He stared at her for a while before he looked forward as well.

'Maybe I am thinking too much...Who am I trying to give excuses to? This is plainly obvious.' thought Shun as he just sighed. He didn't let go of her hand for now. But he made up his mind to deal with the situation later.

After a while, the two of them soon reached the restaurant and had their meal. Nejire was more than happy to spend the evening peacefully with Shun. They were enjoying themselves, she was alone with Shun and he was focusing on her.

The two of them stayed at the restaurant for a while before they paid and got out of the place.

"Well, this place was good. Kinda pricey though," said Shun.

"Yup, the food was good. But it is not good for my allowance. I would be left with no money for snacks if not for my earnings from working in the Ryukyu agency." said Nejire.

"You earn way more in the agency than what you get in the allowance."

"I do, but I use that to pay for school. The leftover is what I get in my pocket."

The two continued to talk about random stuff like that for a while before they decided to go home. Shun decided to drop Nejire at her house, and though he wanted to just teleport her, Nejire insisted on simply walking back.

On their way, the two stopped at a convenience store since Nejire told Shun that she wanted to get some snacks for herself.

Once they were done with that the two of them finally reached Nejire's house.

"Well then Nejire. See you tomorrow."

Shun looked at the girl who looked back at him with a small smile.

"Bye Shun."

The two stayed there silently for a bit before Nejire got inside her home.

Shun didn't wait for long as well and just teleported back to his house.
