Chapter 1

The scorching sun beat down on the desolate slum, worsening the despair. The narrow paths were filled with trash, indicating the poverty of the residents. The old buildings leaned and appeared rundown, reflecting the prevailing hopelessness in the air.

A young child, around 7 years old, walked through the slums. He had black, spiky, disheveled hair and light blue eyes. Sweat covered his forehead due to the shining sun and heat. His clothes were tattered, and his dry lips suggested he hadn't eaten in days.

The foul-smelling air didn't bother the child; he seemed accustomed to it. His name was Kuro Mori. Kuro Mori searched for food in the slums. After some time, he came across a stall where an exhausted old man sold various items, including a bottle of water. Spotting the opportunity, Kuro quickly moved to a dark, shadowy corner. He checked his surroundings, intending to steal the water bottle unnoticed.

Kuro Mori flicked his finger, and shadowy, solid tendrils emerged from his shadow. The tendrils stealthily reached for the bottle, completely covering it. With the bottle secured, Kuro retrieved it and swiftly left, unnoticed by anyone.

He concealed the bottle in his clothes, not taking any chances with anyone.

Returning home, Kuro observed the deteriorating state of his house—cracked walls and a rusty roof indicated wear and tear. In the living room, he saw a worn-out couch covered in blankets, offering a slightly more comfortable space to sleep. Kuro didn't have a bedroom; he could only sleep in the living room on the couch.

It had been two years since his parents' death, or at least that's what he believed. They had gone out one day and never returned, leading Kuro to assume they were dead. Growing up in poverty, Kuro's parents could barely provide for him. Thus, he found some relief in their passing. They no longer had to worry about him or money. Although it may sound cruel, it was a simple truth encapsulated in the quote: "In the depths of despair, one might find solace in the thought that even in death's embrace, there is release from the relentless suffering for mere sustenance and wealth."

Alone in this seemingly nightmarish situation, Kuro had one goal, or rather, an ambition he believed could become a reality: to become the king of the world and establish "absolute justice."

Considering what he had been through—from facing hardships since birth to losing both parents at a young age and having to fend for himself—Kuro's thinking wasn't entirely unfounded. His upbringing exposed him to the darker side of society, where corruption and injustice prevailed. Consequently, he developed a strong desire to bring about a world governed by true justice.

He believed that by becoming the king of the world, this goal, or rather ambition, could be achieved.

Kuro Mori, with his black hair resembling that of Hibari Kyoya, lay on the worn-out couch, his mind consumed by contemplation. He was determined to take his first step toward realizing his grand ambition. The desire for worldwide recognition and fame burned within him, but he refused to be known as a villain tainted by evil. True justice demanded a different path—one that would present him as a revered hero.

As he delved into deep thought, Kuro's focus shifted to a renowned institution known as U.A. High School. To establish his hero status, attending this prestigious school became a necessity in his mind. However, the challenge lay in overcoming the obstacles before him. With no school to call his own and the weight of being an orphan, the road appeared treacherous. Yet, a flicker of hope ignited within him—the orphanage.

Despite his young age, Kuro's intellect surpassed expectations. He eagerly devoured any books he could find, thirsting for knowledge. Even though they were worn and weathered, those books provided him with a foundation of understanding about the world. Within those pages, he discovered the legends of the mighty hero, All Might, and the illustrious institution of U.A. High School.

A plan began to take shape in Kuro's mind. He would craft a narrative in which his parents mysteriously vanished, leaving him alone to navigate the harsh realities of the slums. He believed that sharing his tale of hardship would evoke sympathy and serve as a stepping stone toward gaining admission to U.A.

Fueled by unwavering determination, Kuro rose from the couch and stepped outside, embracing the scorching sun and the unpleasant odors that lingered in the air. These elements became constant reminders of his unwavering commitment to his goals. With each breath he took, he inhaled the aspirations that fueled his journey.

Leaving the confines of the dilapidated slums behind, Kuro embarked on a new chapter of his life. It marked the beginning of his arduous journey toward becoming the king of the world and reshaping it in accordance with his unwavering vision of absolute justice.
