I died....

Well my life wasn't that interesting to begin with

So I don't really have any regrets.

I was expecting the pearly gates or maybe the pit of hell... Or those anime tropes...

I guess I got lucky.

Opening my eyes I saw the ceiling of an unfamiliar hospital room.

Now I have to be a little baby.

Hearing what's probably a nurse although my hearing is quite fuzzy..

Waiting in anticipation, I looked at my mother

"I think I'll name him Rimuru, Rimuru Tempest

Don't you think it's a beautiful name?"

I heard a male voice from the distance

4 have already passed.. Now I'm no longer just a helpless little baby but an obnoxious toddler!

During my 4 years of time-wasting

My mother, Julia Tempest is a true beauty with dark blue hair, dark crimson eyes a fairly young look, but honestly, she's kinda scary...

My father Adam Tempest is a light blonde

With black eyes, he gives off a charming aura when outside but he's quite the softie..

My mother looks at him with a cold gaze,

If not for her looks and me being a toddler I might've just run straight out the door, especially with that cold look of hers..

"You see now even Rimuu is repulsed by your behavior"

Ah right! My mother's quirk is temperature manipulation, although is sounds super cool she doesn't have enough training to use it well and she has already given up on being a hero. Well it's free air conditioning anyway

Leaving my inner monologue in peace I continue to listen to their "love-hate argument"

"Don't tell me you forgot dumbass!"

Geez my mother is quite harsh

"Uhhh darling how could I forget.... Uhhh our anniversary..?"

Giving an awkward smile nearly saving himself from having frozen balls tonight

"Useless idiot! Our anniversary is in 2 months! I'm talking about sending Rimuu to kindergarten"

Oh god now I'm gonna have to be surrounded by toddlers

Feeling a little left out I goo goo Gaga's for attention

"Honey take care of Rimuu and I'll go talk to the administrator" (I have absolutely no idea how you send kids to kindergarten)

I looked at my father with clear annoyance. If I could talk I would be cursing him like a sailor....

Long story short, I was sent to a normal kindergarten a true shocker! Well, we're from a middle-class family so I shouldn't be expecting maids and butlers or some disguised human trafficking ring...

Normal huh... I miss that

"Rimuru! play with us!" I was again approached by one of the children to play, honestly they give me headaches but ill still play with them,

I've got to put on the facade of a normal child 

"Sure Annie I'll play with you" giving her a beaming smile and walking with her towards her group, my headache only became stronger

'They're such a damn bother... at least playing with blocks wouldn't erode my iq'

ouch damn, I might actually have a migraine, like a real one... without even realizing I felt hazy and plopped straight into the ground.... unconscious.
