Darkness embraced Shoto when he entered Kaguya's portal but it is short lived cause when an opening appeared the next thing Shoto knew he is on the roof of the mall.

"Kaguya your quirk is teleportation?"

Kaguya turned around after making sure no one is around. Facing Shoto Kaguya answered him.

"Yes, teleportation is one of my quirks"

Shoto went wide eyed when he heard Kaguya say that she has multiple quirks.

"Wait one of?"

(Shoto pov)

She said one of them. That means she has more than one quirk. I know that we are friends but we haven't seen each other for a long time. I could even be someone that use her quirks to my own benefit.

"Kaguya I know that we are good friends but you shouldn't be telling your secrets to anyone including me. What if the wrong people hear about this. They will try to get their hands on you and use you to their benefit."

A smile formed her face. I still can't get over how beautiful Kaguya has gotten since I last saw her.

"Shoto, what you just said proves I can trust you."

What do you mean? All I said is that you need to be careful who you say these things too. Why are you smiling like I just made your day? Kaguya began to speak again.

"I know that I need to be careful. If I wasn't I wouldn't be standing here right now. You saying that I shouldn't trust you since it's been years since we last saw each other lets me know that you would worry about me if something happened to me. You just remembering after 10 years makes me happy" She told me with that same smile

I am at a loss for words. I don't know how to respond to Kaguya. When we were in the hospital 10 years ago I felt alone, terrified, and scared of what's going to happen to me next. My asshole of a father drove my mother to madness which caused her to pour boiling water on my face. Then when I was in the hospital I met Kaguya. She gave me hope and the will to go on. If it wasn't for her I'll probably be with my father right now.

"Kaguya I don't know what to say... I wanted to tell you thank you the moment I saw you. After what you did at the hospital you gave me the courage to stand up my father."

I can see the visible confusion on her face probably wondering what she did

"You're wondering what you did are you not?"

"Yes" She replied

"When my father tried to scare you instead of getting scared you stood your ground and frightened him to the point he couldn't move from the spot he was standing on."

She did oh that reaction. Honestly, that was kinda cute.

"That was nothing. It was his own fault for trying that. If he didn't I wouldn't have thought of erasing his existence." Kaguya told me

Wait that was going through her mind at that time. I hope I never make her that mad. I noticed that she wasn't finished talking so I listened.

"The reason I didn't do it is that if I did I would indeed erase him but also destroy half the hospital and a large part of the city." She told me with a straight face.

I couldn't believe what I just heard destroy half the hospital along with the city no way

"Kaguya are you serious? No way is your quirk that powerful."

"It's true. My quirks awakening was the reason I was in the hospital in the first place let me explain to you"

Kaguya went on and told me everything in detail about what happened to her when she was 4. She told me that something similar to a power surge happened to her when she unlocked her byakugan. She then explains her 3 quirks byakugan, teleportation, and chakra.

I am amazed at what she can do. She can see everything thing in 360 degrees if she activates the byakugan. She can teleport to anywhere she has been before or anywhere she has seen.

(A/N: no she cannot teleport through pictures like the movie jumper)

The most impressive is her chakra energy. The reason she got put in the hospital 10 years ago. She can create clones of herself, control all the elements, reinforce her body with chakra making her hard as metal, and heal anyone she wants too. Here I thought I was special because I have control over ice and fire.

Kaguya went on and told me about her life since we last saw each other. She lives in a peaceful neighborhood. The only time there was trouble is when someone tried to kidnap her.

Hearing this I get upset but Kaguya immediately calmed me down. She continued She told me about her aunt Yuki, Uncle Haru, her aunt's boss Yuna, and a couple of other relatives that she met. I got told she has an addiction to vanilla yogurt. She didn't say it was an addiction but if you were to simplify it. It's addition but she said "Cravings".

Going on she told me about she is learning martial arts and how she is the best disciple at the dojo currently. Kaguya's school life is just as impressive as her in martial arts. She gets straight A's in every subject causing a lot of private schools around the country wanting her. Her social life in school is mostly her being a loner but she prefers not to be annoyed by a lot of people so that's why she kept to herself. The only trouble she had so far in school is a boy named Bakugo with an explosion quirk.

"It seems you had an interesting life so far Kaguya"

"It's not that interesting if you ask me. I'm just living my life" Kaguya responded

"I wish I had your strength Kaguya. If I had even half I would be stronger than my father and show him what a real hero is."

Kaguya grabbed both my shoulders and looked me in the eyes.

"Shoto you have the ability to care for others that automatically makes stronger than what your father can dream of. We human are made to seek each other company. No matter how strong you are eventually you're going to need the help of another." She told me with a serious tone

"Thank you, Kaguya. I guess it's time to tell you what has happened to me since the last time we saw each other."

"Yeah, where we're you? I was looking for you online. I thought you moved to Tokyo so I searched in major cities for you but came empty handed."

She was searching for me. That's nice to know. Shame I couldn't have done the same.

"I was living in the countryside with my mother and some of her relatives. It's about 5 hours away from here."

"wait you are living with your mom? I thought she-" Kaguya said but I cut her off

"Went crazy. Yeah, she recovered ill tell you what happened."

(After Kaguya left Shoto's hospital room)

The number 2 hero is standing there with a severely damaged pride but his instincts were screaming at him, not I retaliate. So he asked his son who was that girl and the boy responded with his friend. This caused the number 2 hero to think of a thought that will come back and bite him in the ass.

"Shoto we are leaving," Endeavour told his son with a demanding tone cause he didn't want anywhere near Kaguya.

As soon as Shoto got home is was sent to do hellish training for a 4 year old. If he didn't finish he wouldn't get any dinner for the night. Shoto barely finishes. When he did Shoto was too tired to eat and immediately passed out due to exhaustion.

A couple of months later shoto finally able to see again out his left eye but is left with a scar.

Every time he failed at something he would punish by his father either by a beating or no food. When Shoto started to show that he is doing well in his training Endeavour makes it even harder. This went on for a long time almost mentality breaking Shoto but he always remembered how Kaguya stood against his father. He wanted to stand up against him, he wanted to run away but Shoto had nowhere to go and he has not seen or heard his mother in a long time.

Finally having enough Shoto stood up against his father and protested against his training. "I'm tired of training dad I want to see mom!"

Endeavor looks at his son smiled before backhanding him sending Shoto 3 feet away. Endeavor wasn't going to have his son be disobedient. "You shouldn't disobey the hand that is feeding you. You are going to be the number 1 hero. Meeting you're so called friend made me realize that I've been going too easy on you and there are others that are stronger than you. If you fail me I'll consider you waste but before I dispose of you I'll have you mate with that girl when you're older to make a strong child that can do what you and the rest of your siblings can't."

Shoto wishes he could get up and retaliate or run but he was in so much pain. What heard next made him forget about the pain.

"Once she has the child I'll just dispose of both you and her. If that girl can make fear for my life at 4 just think about what she can do once she is older. Plus combining whatever quirk she has plus your fire and ice would make your child the pinnacle of strength!"

Shoto ignored what his father said all that heard was dispose of him and Kaguya. Those words repeated in the young boy's mind he didn't know what it exactly meant but he knew that he is going to hurt Kaguya his friend who has done nothing besides defending herself.

Suddenly both sides of Shoto flared up as he shot ice and fire at his father but before he could do anything else Endeavour place a hard punch to Shoto's stomach effectively knocking him out.

"Good keep that same spirit cause you going to need it." Endeavor did in fact cut down on Shoto's training but it doesn't mean he is going to treat his son nicely. The train was still hard, his treat is still bad, and he still didn't eat whenever he failed. The only thing that kept him going is the chance to escape his father whenever it presented itself.

5 years later men came rushing in and try to take Shoto out his home. When suddenly flames stopped them from reaching the boy's room.

"You think you can come in here and take my belongings! Your dead wrong! Before I fry you tell me who brought you here!?" Endeavor's voice yells out to the people who suddenly came to his home.

What bothers Endeavour the most is how they got in without any alarm sounding. His security should be active. Suddenly a man with glasses emerged from the group.

"We are from child protective services." The agent showed him his badge showing him that he wasn't lying. "We came to the understanding that you are abusing your child so we are here to take him"

Hearing this Endeavour laughed "Hahahahha Do you really think that you have enough power to take him away!?" Endeavor knew that the hero association would cover him since he is the number 2 hero.

"You're right we know that we couldn't possibly touch the number 2 hero but that's under normal circumstances." Pushing up his glasses the agent moved our the way when suddenly ice put out all the fires surrounding the CPS agents and Shoto's door.

Endeavor could not believe that someone actually put out his fire with ease. When he saw who did it his anger skyrocketed. "You! How are you here!? You guys are the CPS are sure you should help the one who threw boiling water on her own child's face!?"

Shoto's mom Rei Todoroki appeared in front of the CPS agents. "Hello dear" Rei said with a cold voice. "Didn't expect to see me again didn't you? Well doesn't matter I'm here to take my son."

"Oh, are you now. How are you opposed to do that? The CPS? Hahaha! Foolish you shall not take what's mine." Endeavor smirked knowing that Rei has no power to take her son. If she tried to the hero association would stop her if she tried to go public about his actions cause it would make the association look bad.

*Buzz* *Buzz*

"Answer it you'll enjoy the lovely surprise." Rei arrogantly told her husband.

Picking up the phone Endeavour answered the phone. It is the hero association but the one calling is the chairman of the association

"Enji give her the boy" The chairmen's voice had no emotion but it was absolute and commanding

Endeavor was in a silent rage. He couldn't protest when it comes to the chairman's orders. All he could do is watch as they take his son.

Rei immediately went into Shoto's room to get her son. Entering she sees her son sleeping in his bed. She walked up to him and gently shook him waking him up.

"Mmm...huh?" Rubbing his Shoto is greeted with the sight of his mother smiling at him. "Wait mom!?!?" Shoto was shocked to see his mom since he hasn't seen her since was 4

"Hello, my dear baby boy, mother is here and she is going to take you away from here." Rei said tearing up

Shoto started crying happy that his mother is back in his life and he felt relief that he doesn't have to do hellish training anymore.

Rei dressed her son and walked out of the room. Rei turned to the silent number 2 hero.

"Goodbye, Enji I hope we never see each other again."

Rei and Shoto walked out and got in the car leaving. The CPS agent with glasses said this before he left as well. "We may not be able to send you to jail but we are sure as hell not letting you get your hands on that child again."

Endeavour picked up the phone again and the chairmen spoke "Enji I can't help you in this one but if I receive information that you are trying to take that boy there will be consequences end of discussion"

Endeavor's flame raised up melting the phone in his hand.

"RAAAAAAGH I WILL PAY YOU BACK FOR THIS WOMEN! YOU WILL LEARN NEVER TO TAKE WHAT BELONGS TO ME!!!" Endeavour roared.

(Chairman of the japan hero association pov)

To think that Enji's wife went as far to get dirt on me just to make sure she gets no opposition to get her son. I will ignore this Rei Todoroki but I will be watching you.

(back to Shoto and Rei)

Currently, Rei and Shoto are being escorted to the countryside of Japan to one of Rei's Relatives house. In the car, there was an awkward silence mostly due to them not knowing what to say to the other. Rei had many things she wanted to say to her son but she didn't know how to say them to a 4 year old. She knows Shoto is a smart boy but she didn't want him to grow up too fast.

Shoto had many questions about what happened to his mother since the time he saw her but didn't say them due to him still being scared to ask cause his father always gives him a verbal lashing every time he asks something pertaining to his mother. Now that she is right in front of him he doesn't know how she is going to react.

Rei finally decided to speak up. "Shoto I know that I have been absent these past years from your life. I know that I like your father hurt you both physically and emotionally I'm-"

Cutting her off Shoto spoke " Mom you don't have to be sorry I know that it wasn't your fault that you acted that way. It's father's fault that you had to leave."

Shoto hugged his mom to make her feel better. "I'm so glad that I got you back my baby boy. Mother has worked hard every day to get you back ever since I got better."

The two told all their feelings to each other. Shoto told his mother about Kaguya his friend who stood against his father. Rei was surprised to hear a girl the same age as her son made Endeavour scared like that. She wanted to meet this girl in the future to thank her for giving her son hope.

Shoto then went on and told his mom everything that happened to him while he was living with his dad. What she heard made her mad and almost broke her heart hearing terrible things that Shoto went through.

"Enji how could you do this to our son? Why? *sob* Don't worry Shoto I'll make sure you never have to go through that ever again." She told her son.

The CPS agent listening what was going on was glad that he got this child away from that environment.

A couple of hours later Shoto and Rei came to their relative's house in a small town. After being dropped off Rei and Shoto lived with their relatives. After a year Rei found a nearby house for sale and bought it. A day came where Shoto wanted to train to become a hero. Rei was against it at first due to her being afraid it will cause her son's traumatic memories with his father to haunt him.

Shoto reassured his mother by saying that he wants to be a hero not like his father but one that people can look up too. So for the next 4 years, Shoto trained but was regularly stopped by his mom. She shot got proficient in using his ice and fire quirk but mostly uses ice due to fire reminding him of his father.

Then one day a letter came. It was from the number 2 hero. Rei didn't even want to open the letter but Shoto wanted to see what it is. Opening the letter Shoto was greeted with a letter of recommendation from UA high school.

"Shoto if you don't want to accept it I'll understand." Rei told her son.

Shoto was deciding should he accept this letter of recommendation. He knew if he accepted it he would have to meet his father again but he also knew if he is going to be a hero he is going to encounter his father either someday. So decided to accept it.

"Mom I'll accept the letter." Rei knew that Shoto wouldn't change his mind. She been decided to support her son no matter his decisions.

"I will support you no matter what. You are still my precocious baby boy no matter how old you get"

So they announced to their family members that they are moving back to the city. So about 1 month ago Shoto and Rei were looking for a place to stay since Shoto going to UA. After finding and moving in a place about 3 weeks ago. Now to the present Shoto is in the mall with his mom shopping.

(Present)

(Kaguya pov)

All of that happened in the past 10 years. I wish I could have helped him in his time need when his bastard father basically tortured him.

"Shoto I-" *buzz* *buzz*

Huh? Who is.... oh no I forgot all about aunt Yuki. I basically left her. I answered the phone.

"Sorry aunt Yuki I just had a talk with my good friend and lost track of time."

"Ok, Kaguya I am just checking on you since you were missing for an hour" Yuki said over the phone.

"I'm coming back right now"

"Ok Kaguya"

(3rd person)

Kaguya hated to cut her reunion with Shoto short but she had to go back to her aunt Yuki. Kaguya stood up and opened a portal. Shoto guessed that she had to go so he got up as well. "You got to go don't you." Shoto said.

"Yeah just follow me through the portal and it will take you back to that hallway." Kaguya said with a somewhat sad tone. She wants to talk to Shoto more but she knew she made Yuki wait long enough. So they both go through the portal. After they went through Shoto spoke.

"You know I can see you off and we can exchange contact info." Shoto told Kaguya. So Kaguya was brought back to her happy mood. When She got back Yuki was shocked to see Kaguya so happy talking to a boy but this shock turned into a smirk. "Well well well look what we have here. Looks like my little Kaguya snagged herself a handsome young man."

"It's not like that aunt Yuki." Kaguya had a straight face but her pale skin easily let someone know that she is blushing "Sure" Yuki said with a teasing tone.

"You must be Shoto. The boy that my little Kaguya told me so much about." Yuki said with a kind voice. Suddenly Kaguya said "Stop calling me little aunt Yuki. You only call me little becuase-" *Pow* Yuki hit Kaguya in the head to stop her from finishing her sentence.

"Ignore her :)" Yuki said smiling but with a dark aura.

Rubbing the back of her head Kaguya brought out her phone and gave it to Shoto. "Here is my number and Instagram"

Shoto took the phone and put the information in his adding Kaguya in his contacts and Instagram. Once he is done he gave Kaguya back her phone. They proceeded to leave the Mall and Shoto followed. "I'll talk to you later Kaguya once I get home." Shoto told Kaguya.

"Yeah, I'll talk to you later how and here" Kaguya softly touched the side of Shoto face covering his left eye with her hand. Shoto felt a warm feeling on the side of his face. After a couple of seconds, she took her handoff. Yuki witnessing what happened dropped her jaw. "Ka..Kaguya you?" "Shhh, I'll talk to you later Shoto." Kaguya said with a heartwarming smile that made Shoto's heart skip a beat. Shoto is just standing there wondering what she just did but just before he asked Kaguya told him "It's a surprise"

Kaguya got in the car with Yuki and drove off home waving at Shoto. Shoto waved back at her and went back to the mall where his mom is at the salon getting her hair done. When he got there he saw his mom chatting with the hairdresser since she just got her hair done. "Mom, you ready to go?"

"Yeah, Shoto im- Sh.. Sh...Shoto y..your face" Rei says with shock when she looked at her son, not believing her eyes. Shoto is confused, is there something on his face he thought. "What's wrong with my face" He said with confusion. Rei suddenly grabbed Shoto's arm and pulled him to a wall mirror. What he saw shocked him like his mother, his scar on his left eye is gone. He didn't know how to react he just stood there wide eyed. Then Rei suddenly spoke, "How did your face... your scar suddenly disappear."

"Kaguya" Shoto spoke.

"Kaguya? Isn't that the girl you told me so much about. Is she here?." Rei questioned her son. "She was here but she just left just before she suddenly touched my face." Shoto and Rei were just starting into the mirror looking at his face where his scar was at.

"Thank you, Kaguya looks like you help me again." Shoto said with a smile full of gratitude
