Chapter 26

Izuku and Momo were walking towards the third year section of Support Course Workshop. After the Quirk Assessment Test, they were given the rest of the day to explore and familiarize themselves in school.

With Bakugo and Camie deciding to explore the training grounds.

As they neared the Support Course, they passed by the first year section, just in time for them to suddenly hear a loud explosion.

The two looked at each other before running towards the door of the first year Support Course Workshop and opened it, only to back off when a thick smoke puffed out of the door.

"Come on Mei, I told you to be very careful!"

"My bad, I thought I had it calibrated."

Izuku raised an eyebrow when he saw a rather cute girl with pink hair wearing a black tank top and baggy pants walking out of the room while waving the smoke away from her face, she was also wearing a goggles.

Following after her, to Izuku and Momo's surprise, is Melissa who is wearing a white coat over a blue shirt and white short—shorts.

"Mel?" Izuku and Momo called out, looking confused as to why their third year friend is in first year section.

Melissa blinks her eyes before moving her gaze towards Izuku and Momo, and immediately, a smile blossom on her face.

"Izu! Momo!" She walked towards them, "What are you guys doing here?"

"Um, that's what we wanted to ask," said Momo, "What are you doing here Mel? Isn't this the first year's workshop?"

"Well," Melissa turned towards the pink haired girl, Mei, who was patting her pants, "Power Loader-sensei asked me to look after her since she tends to make things explode. She's pretty talented though, albeit a little eccentric. But who isn't nowadays?"

Mei looked towards Momo and Izuku and pulled up her goggles, showing her golden, cross hair eyes. "Who're they Mel-senpai?"

Momo and Izuku was a bit startled that she doesn't know. Not to brag, but they are very famous right now and you almost couldn't find someone who doesn't know them.

Melissa smiled, "These are my friends, this is Izuku Midoriya," she pointed at Izuku who gave a small wave and a smile, "And this is Momo Yaoyorozu." She pointed at Momo who gave a small nod.

"And guys, this is Mei Hatsume," she pointed at Mei who gave them a grin, "She's the one who aced the entrance exams for Support Course, she's a genius like no other."

"At your service!" Mei grinned and gave a mock salute, "I'm going to be the best Support Engineer and make my own company! Well, or maybe just work for a large company as a baby maker."

Cough! Momo choked on her saliva as she gave Mei a scandalized look, her cheeks turning red hearing Mei's 'dream'.

Izuku just raised an eyebrow. He was sure that Mei didn't literally meant what she said, still he got to admit that he was taken aback by her comment.

"Her inventions!" Said Melissa with red face, "She meant her inventions! She called her inventions 'babies'! That's just how she is!"

Momo calmed down hearing Melissa's explanation. And, with her cheeks still red, coughed on her fist and said, "Please mind your wording Hatsume-san, it is a bit....inappropriate."

Mei tilted her head to the side in confusion, "What's wrong with calling them my babies?"

"There's nothing wrong per se, but—"

"I put a lot of time and effort making them, and I also care for them, so they're my babies."

Momo opened her mouth and was about to say something when Izuku put a hand on shoulder and shook his head.

The creation girl just nodded and closed her mouth.

Izuku turned towards Melissa, "Um, Mel, I wonder if you're done with our hero costume?"

Melissa seem to brightened hearing that and immediately grab his hand and pull him inside the workshop, with Mei and Momo following after them.

"Over here Izuku." Melissa called as she laid out a black suitcase on a table after clearing it off of scattered parts.

"Is that the thing you don't want me to touch?" Asked Mei with an excited expression.

"Yep!" Melissa smiled as she opened the case, revealing a pair of black wristbands with green accents that looks similar to Full Gauntlet, along with an advanced looking earpiece.

"So, what can you tell me about this?" Izuku asked while looking over the black wristbands with an intense eye.

Melissa puffed her chest proudly, "I made this using the same nanotechnology I used to make the Full Gauntlet. It's pretty much bullet proof, cut proof, cold resistant, water resistant, fire resistant. Inside it, this costume is lined with both ballistic fibers and carbon nanofibers, I also added a layer of Gore-Tex to suppress your heat signature to make you invisible to night vision and infrared vision, all this means you can take some grenades to the chest and still be fine."

Melissa took the wristbands from the case and put it on Izuku's wrist, and put the earpiece on his ear. She then tapped the wristbands to activated.

The girls watched in fascination as the wristbands expanded, covering Izuku in a black and green armor, with earpiece transforming into a green visor.

"The forearms, elbows, shins, and knees are all re-enforced with steel, allowing you to block some attacks easier or even attack with. I also put steel over the crotch to protect your bits just in case, since that's every guys weakness. The boots are also steel tipped and will allow more damage with your kicks."

Melissa then tapped the earpiece, and it immediately expanded and turn into a metallic black mask, "The mask will protect you from harmful gasses and smokes, while the visor can provide night-vision, infrared vision, and even protect you from flash attacks. It also has an HUD, and it's connected to the Internet, we can even video chat using that."

She then grabbed his hands and smiled at him, "And the best part? It can absorb the feedback from your attacks, nullifying the backlash of your Quirk and allow you to use 100% for at least five times. You and Uncle Might are simply too strong, I can't make something that'll allow you to use one hundred percent as much as you want even with the materials from U.A and I-Island, maybe in five to ten years I can make one, but you probably won't need it by that time."

Mei was staring at Izuku's costume like she saw a mountain of gold, "This...This is...Amazing, simply amazing, I can only admit defeat at my current level."

"As expected of you Mel," said Momo, nodding her head while looking at Izuku, enjoying the view. 'It certainly suits him...he's...hot...'

Izuku was in awe at his costume, truly he couldn't expect any less with Melissa around. "...This is perfect. You really outdid yourself Mel!"

Melissa smiled, as shyly twirled her hair with her finger, "It's not perfect yet. If I can make a suit that will allow you to use your full power for as much as you want, then I can consider it as perfect."

"Even so, this is already very amazing." said Izuku while checking himself. "Can I test this now?"

Melissa shook her head, "It's not quite finish yet. Though it should be done tonight. Just have to go over it a few things before I give it the all clear."

"Aw~"

Melissa giggled at Izuku's reaction, "Don't worry, you can go wild with it tomorrow. Just make sure not to damage it too much, I'm the one who's making the repairs after all."

"No promises!"

Melissa rolled her eyes before looking at Momo, "As for you my sister in all but blood...." She turned towards her pink haired kouhai, "Um, Mei, please be a dear and fetch me that suit I was working on my table."

"Okie dokie senpai!" Mei gave a mock a salute and ran towards another room.

She stayed there for a few seconds before running back out, this time carrying some things on her arms.

"Here!" She placed them on the table, as the teens observed it.

It was a piece of sleeveless, black mock neck leotard with red outlines. There is also a pair of black opera gloves, and a black and red boots.

Before Momo could say anything, Melissa already began to explain, "This is made from the same materials as Midnight's costume, meaning it repairs itself once it was ripped or teared apart. It's also lined with both Nomex and Kevlar, making it bullet proof, knife proof, shock, cold, water, and flame resistant."

Momo picked up her costume, "Hmm, everything is perfect. Thank you Mel."

"No problem, though after making Izu's costume, I feel a bit underwhelmed with yours."

Momo smiles, "I don't really need much for my costume because of my Quirk, and speaking of which, do you have the contact lenses I asked for?"

Melissa sighed, "I haven't finished it yet. Though I'll be done with it tonight, so you'll be able to use it tomorrow."

Izuku frowned, "You're not planning on staying here are you? And what's that about contact lenses?"

"Well, I do plan on staying here tonight, I already have Nezu's and Power Loader-sensei's permission. As for the contact lenses, well, it's kind of similar to your visor, just not as good."

Momo furrowed her brows, "....You don't have to stay here to finish our costumes you know, we can make do."

Melissa shook her head with a smile, "I know, but I want to. Don't worry, I'm already quite used to staying at my workshop for days back in I-Island."

Izuku stared at her for a few moments before sighing, "Just make sure to eat dinner and have proper rest okay?"

"No worries." Melissa smiled before looking at the clock, "Anyway, we still need to meet up with other Support Course students to make some finishing touches of first year's costumes. Sorry."

Izuku smiled, "No need to apologize, anyway how do I get out of this suit?"

"Just tap that small, green thingy on your wrist and it'll deactivate. It's fingerprint sensor, so only you will be able to activate and deactivate it at will. Of course me too, since I made that."

Izuku touched his wrist and his suit receded and turned back into a wristband, even his visor and mask turned back to being an earpiece.

With a sigh, Izuku took them off and put them back to the case.

Melissa turned to Izuku, "And Izu, please leave the room since I would like Momo to change into her costume to make sure it fits her perfectly."

Izuku nodded and left the workshop, leaving the three girls alone.
