59 Chapter 58

'That's where you're hiding! Found you, motherfucker!'

I connected to everyone through telepathy and said, 'All for One, he's hiding at Hashima!'

The response I got..

'.. What the fuck's a Hashima.'

'Hashima? What prefacture?'

'There's an island with that name?'

'It sounds manly!'

'Hehehehe... Oh! So soft..!'

'Yaomomo! Mineta's ruffling through your dresser!'

We then gathered in gym gamma and were given a lesson in history as most were unaware of the island.

"It's an abandoned island off Nagasaki. It was a heritage site until a few years ago, but, tourism to that place took a bad hit and it was closed off. The government even tried to refurbish it, but, the buildings there are far too weak. Midoriya, how many villains did you sense on that island?"

A background noise of 'Khyaaaaa! Not my balls! Not my balls!!! *CRACK* AAAAAAHHH!!' was heard that was soundly ignored by literally everyone present.

I looked at Tsukauchi and replied, "1896. The island's very isolated and has underwater coal mines. It's going to be tricky fighting the villains in such a place. The buildings can easily collapse and so can the abandoned mines. It's going to be very risky to attack there. The chance of deaths on both sides is very high."

"We need to do something to lure them out."

Nighteye suddenly said while looking at All Might, "We reveal it."

All Might's eyes immediately widened and so did mine as I realised what he had meant.

".. Reveal what?"

"One for All."

All Might sighed and explained everything about 'One for All'. How the quirk came into existance, the long and bloody history of all the bearers of the quirk and finally, about how I was the current bearer.

My classmates could understand why I kept it hidden from them. It was better that way. A power like 'One for All', the entire world would come after such a power if everyone knew about it.

I was the only one who could defeat All for One and now everyone knew the exact reason behind it.

A plan was formed and slowly, everything was in order.

Later on, a press interview was held to explain the current situation to the civilians all over the country. A separate section was created in the paper that had comments from various students.

My comment had said..

[Emerald Knight: All for One is an evil that has plagued our country for a long time. We'll find him and end the darkness. Our wills are strong and we stand as 'One for All'.]

It was simple word play. But, it was effective.

Over the next two months, villains came after me in groups to capture me for 'All for One'. Slowly, the number of residents at Hashima decreased to less than a thousand.

'A thousand is a lot less than a million. I'm ready.'

Back at U.A., everyone prepared themselves for a final battle. A large area was cleared for the villains to be teleported to where the heroes would lay in wait to capture them.

As everyone gathered at U.A., I covered all six hundred of them in spheres and teleported them to the battleground. Then, I tooka breath and teleported to the airspace of Nagasaki. Hashima was within good range and I was able to sense every individual.

Soon, green spheres appeared around all the villains at Hashima. For some reason, I couldn't saparate out All for One and Shigaraki's wills.

'Something is wrong.'

I decided to go with the plan and teleported all the villains to the heroes, leaving behind all the Nomus and the two supervillains.

Not so surprisingly, the Nomus flew towards me to attack the one who had attacked the island.

"I don't have time to deal with you boneheads."

All the Nomus were engulfed in individual spheres. They shrieked and battered against the spheres in vain. With a snap of my fingers, the spheres began to glow and then, collapsed on the Nomus.

'Collapsing star.'

The Nomus could do nothing but scream in pain as they were pierced by countless needles of aura. They were shredded into nothingness and the collapsed spheres exploded, removing all traces of the existance of the monsters.

A concentrated blast of wind was shot at me from the abandoned island below. I dodged it effortlessly along with the blasts that followed. A figure flew towards me on top of a flying Nomu.

It was none other than Shigaraki... no. There was someting wrong with him.

With eyed narrowed and my mind ready to fight, I asked, "You're All for One, aren't you? Somehow, you've managed to take over Shigaraki's body... along with transfering the rest of your quirks to it."

"Hmhm.. Hahahahahaha!!! Your quirk is really something else, Midoriya Izuku."

But I wasn't done...

"He's still in there.. not ready to give up. Every living moment is a fight, isn't it? A fight for dominance."

He neither confirmed nor denied it. But, I knew that I was right.

There was no more talking.. no more 'figuring things out'.. It was time to fight.

'Fist of Judgement.'

I flew towards him at blinding speed and punched at him with a giant fist, ready to blast his head off his body. All for One crossed his arms to block the punch.. only for it to not land.

I had already known what he was going to do. So, I teleported behind him at the last moment and bashed the fist into his back. He was caught by surprise and was thrown off the Nomu.

With a snap of my fingers, I quickly removed the Nomu from the fight.

I appeared in front of All for One and thus began an aerial battle that lasted for hours.

Various news helicopters were in the air, filming the battle and showing it on live television. The entire world watched as our fists collided and our powers created gigantic whirlpools in the sea.

'It's over.'

I hit him directly into the liver. The sheer force of my punch had surely destroyed his gut as he spat a mouthful of blood. Given the amount of injuries I had inflicted on him, it was evident that he had a regeneration quirk of some kind.

His gut was already growing back when I blasted him with a 'Needle Mountain Hell.'

'One for All: God of Storms.'

I drew the sword the avatar had on its hip and brought it down towards All for One with all my might.

'Iaido: Abyssal rift.'

All for One's healing body was once again attacked by an even more devastating attack. The slash split apart the very sea itself down to the bed. The villain rocketed down back on the island as he bled all through the flight creating a trail in the wake.

My goal had been clear from the start of the fight.

The end of 'All for One.'

I raised my hand to the sky, as did the avatar of 'God of Storms.'

'I'll shatter the very heavens with my will.'

I brought my hand down and what followed was a literal calamity.

A big meteor fell through the sky and crashed on the island, removing it from the face of the earth. The sea was blasted apart, creating gigantic waves all around and filled the crater. I was sure that it was going to be enough, but, like a cockroach, the bastard was still alive.

Slowly, he rose from the water, his clothes all but gone from my attacks.

"Heh... Ha.. Hahahahahaha!!!!"

"How exhilarating!! Midoriya Izuku!!! This.. has been the most amazing battle!! You're the strongest I've ever faced!! But, I must say that our play time has come to end! Machia!!! Rise!! Hahahahahaha!!!! Bare witness, Midoriya Izuku, to the rise of the greatest demon lord!!!"

I looked at his stupid mug and said, "I know he's been under the sea ever since I arrived here, you dumb fuck! Does no one ever learns what my quirk can do?!"

He immediately stopped laughing when Gigantomachia did not show his 'Giganto ass' and I mocked his intelligence.

"Of course, I sent him away with his thumb in his mouth like a baby along with the other villains! He's sleeping as we speak!! Even a giant needs oxygen!! Did you learn nothing from the way I defeated him the last time?!"

While he was too busy getting over the blunder, which, I still think, was caused because of that dumbass Shigaraki messing with 'All for One', the 'God of Storms' avatar's chest opened up and hundreds of thousands of needles, that were actually javelins, shot out at him.

His body was pierced all over. With the javelins not disappearing, it was impossible for his regeneration to work.

I finally had him!

He couldn't even speak as even his throat was pierced through. I grabbed his head with my hands and using the full, no holds barred, power of 'Conqueror's will', I destroyed All for One's will and intent from Shigaraki's body.

His body began to glow and hundreds of wills shot out of his mouth.

One by one, the tormented souls were being finally released from their shackles. Some wills simply disappeared while some went back to find their original bodies.

Far away in her house, as she was watching the battle on the television, Ragdoll suddenly felt her quirk return.

As the wills left Shigaraki's body, I could almost hear Tetsuo's voice..

'Thank you, Zuku.'

It was finally over.

Japan was never the same after that day.

Shigaraki was imprisoned in Tartarus for life, along with hundreds of other villains.

A lot came to light after the testimonies of Lady Nagant, Hawks and Dabi.

The 'Hero Public Safety Comission' was disbanded and Endeavor retired from his hero career after public outrage over his treatment of his family. The 'Hero Association' was dismantled and rebuilt with a new vision.

"So, Emerald Knight, it has been a while since you topped the 'Hero Popularity Billboard Charts'. What, according to you, is a hero."

I chuckled a bit at the news reporter and said, "Coming at me with a haymaker, huh? It's not only about fighting villains and it is nothing too complicated. A hero.. is someone who protects. From a child feeding a stray cat and saving it from hunger to that brave little one who stands up to the school bully. From the doctor who cured your disease to the lawyer who proved your innocence. From the street vendor who is working day and night to feed his family to the police officer who keeps the thugs away from the streets. Even you, miss reporter. Everyone can be a hero."

I pointed at the camera and said with a shining smile, "You too can be a hero."

A/N: It's done!!! I purposefully left a few lose ends for you all to come to your own conclusions.

Thanks for staying with this fanfic for two.. two loooong years. A lot happened in these 2 years. COVID, anti-vaxxers, Afghanistan... There has been soo many deaths.. Everyone has been through a lot.

With 2021 ending and 2022 starting, I just hope it will be a better year than its predecessors.
