Hunting a Ruin Mimic

The ancient mimic shrieked as it fired off its armor in another round of projectiles. The landscape was torn apart as the earth was continuously battered again and again. Long passed was the time when such a move would give Rune and the other parties a free window to attack the creature's body directly. It was a continuous hail of advancing and retreating projectiles that pelted the many fighters present along with any patch of earth surrounding them, with this newest round being aimed at the mercenaries who, up to this point, had been working in coordination with Shiro's spacial magic to keep up a continuous assault that drained the mimic of both is precious lifeblood and energy.
