120 SILENT BULLETS

As the night deepened, Vincent, or rather Alex, found himself grappling with profound inner turmoil. The revelation of Alicia's circumstances stirred conflicting emotions within him, leaving him torn between the desire for revenge and the growing empathy he felt towards her and Alana.

Sitting on the deck of Alana's yacht, Alex stared out into the vast expanse of the dark ocean, its depths mirroring the swirling chaos in his mind. The cool breeze brushed against his face, a gentle reminder of the choices that lay before him.

On one hand, he couldn't shake the resentment he felt towards Alicia for the immense loss she had caused him. The memories of his stolen wealth and the treachery that had led him into the clutches of villains still haunted him. The thirst for retribution burned within him, urging him to exact his own form of justice upon her.

But on the other hand, the newfound knowledge of Alicia's lies and the sacrifices she and her mother had made to survive tugged at his conscience. He couldn't ignore the fact that Alana had gone through her own struggles and that the money Alicia received had served as a lifeline during their darkest moments.

A heavy sigh escaped Alex's lips as he contemplated the complexities of right and wrong. The line between justice and mercy blurred, leaving him uncertain of which path to choose.

Revenge would bring him a sense of closure, a chance to reclaim what was rightfully his, but it would also perpetuate a cycle of pain and suffering. Forgiveness, on the other hand, offered the possibility of healing and redemption, but it meant letting go of the past and embracing a new beginning.

Lost in his thoughts, Alex's gaze shifted to the stars above, their shimmering beauty a stark contrast to the turmoil within him. He knew that the decision he made would have far-reaching consequences, not only for himself but for Alana and Alicia as well.

As the night wore on, Alex resolved to take his time, to explore the depths of his own emotions and motivations. He would seek clarity and guidance, knowing that hasty actions driven solely by anger could lead to unintended consequences.

"Vincent?" Alana's voice broke through the haze of Alex's contemplation, drawing his attention back to the present moment. He turned to face her, his eyes meeting hers.

"Yes, Alana?" Alex responded, his voice tinged with a mixture of vulnerability and determination.

Alana approached him, her gaze filled with a mix of curiosity and concern. "You seem lost in your thoughts. Is everything alright?"

A small smile played on Alex's lips as he reached out to gently touch Alana's hand. "I've been doing a lot of soul-searching tonight, Alana. There are matters from my past that I need to come to terms with, and decisions I must make."

She nodded understandingly, her eyes searching his face. "If there's anything I can do to support you, please don't hesitate to let me know."

Alex appreciated her offer of support, yet he knew that this was a journey he had to undertake on his own. "Thank you, Alana. Your presence alone is comforting to me. I need some time to sort through my thoughts and emotions."

Alana's expression softened, her hand resting gently on his cheek. "Take all the time you need, Vincent. Remember, sometimes the answers we seek can be found within ourselves."

He nodded gratefully, his eyes locked with hers. "You're right, Alana. I believe that the path forward will reveal itself in due time."

Alana isn't a bad person that Alex can feel and sense, thanks to his enhanced senses of Dracul. He can see her blood pressure and hear her heartbeat, but she isn't showing any signs of dishonesty. Rather than that, she was very honest, which was out of his calculation.

As Alex contemplated his next move, a glimmer of an idea began to form in his mind. He realized that he could use his newfound influence and resources to extend a helping hand to Alana, offering her a chance to rejuvenate her modeling career. It was a way for him to get closer to her, to keep an eye on Alica, and potentially unravel the mysteries that surrounded her.

This was the only way to have a chance to meet Alica and find out her connection with Willo's mother. Maybe he might get a chance to unveil the mystery surrounding her death.

With determination in his eyes, Alex made his way back to Alana's side. He reached out and gently took her hand, a reassuring smile on his face. "Alana, I have an opportunity that I believe could reignite your modeling career. I've invested in a prestigious agency, one that has connections to some of the biggest names in the industry. I can arrange for a photoshoot contract for you, showcasing your beauty and talent."

Alana's eyes widened in surprise, a mixture of excitement and gratitude lighting up her face. "Vincent, I... I don't know what to say. That would be incredible! I've been longing for a chance to prove myself once again."

Alex squeezed her hand gently, his voice filled with sincerity. "Consider it a gesture of my appreciation, Alana. You deserve this opportunity, and I believe in your talent. Let me help you regain the spotlight that is rightfully yours."

Alana nodded, a sense of hope and anticipation washing over her. "Thank you, Vincent. This means more to me than you'll ever know."

As the night continued, Alex and Alana discussed the details of the photoshoot contract, their conversation shifting seamlessly between professional matters and personal anecdotes. Alex was careful to maintain the delicate balance between gaining Alana's trust and pursuing his own agenda. Deep down, he knew that there was a greater mystery to unravel, a web of connections that extended beyond Alicia.

Alex remained focused on his ultimate goal – to uncover the truth behind Alicia's actions, the organization she might be involved with, and the tragic incident that took Willo's mother's life. He was determined to protect those he cared about and bring justice to those who had wronged him.

...

As the moon cast an eerie glow over the scene, time seemed to slow down for Alex. His heightened senses kicked into overdrive, his instincts taking control. In a split second, he sensed the impending danger, his Dracul-enhanced reflexes guiding his every move.

A bullet whizzed through the air, aimed directly at Alana's forehead. With lightning-fast speed, Alex extended his hand, his fingers intercepting the deadly projectile mere inches away from its target. He held the bullet between his fingertips, his grip steady and firm.

But the danger didn't end there. Three more bullets followed, heading toward them with deadly precision. Without a moment's hesitation, Alex shielded Alana, positioning his body in front of her, his maximum endurance acting as a barrier.

The bullets struck his body, each one halted by the impenetrable shield of red aura that surrounded him. The impact reverberated through his being, but he remained resolute, his determination unyielding. The assailant's attempt to harm Alana had been thwarted.

As the echoes of the gunfire faded into the night, Alex's gaze scanned the surroundings, searching for any sign of the attacker. He remained in a defensive stance, protecting Alana with unwavering vigilance.

"Alana, are you alright?" Alex's voice carried a hint of concern, his eyes locked onto hers. The adrenaline coursed through his veins, but he remained focused on her well-being.

Alana, shaken but unharmed, nodded in response. Her voice trembled slightly as she spoke. "Y-Yes, I'm... I'm okay. Thank you, Vincent. I... I don't know what just happened."

Alex's gaze hardened, his eyes narrowing as he scanned the vicinity once more. "We were targeted, Alana. Someone wants to silence you, just like they did to her."

His mind raced with questions. Who was behind the attack? Was it connected to Alicia, the organization she might be involved with, or something even larger? One thing was certain – he couldn't let his guard down, not even for a moment.

*Blood Vision*

Alex used his skill to scan the area for the potential threat along with his Weapon Master genetics memories, guiding him to identify any traces of weapons around them.

"Found you, bitches," Alex smirked. He caught four snipers hiding far within the island using camo equipment.

He took Alana in his arms and jumped down.

In a blink of an eye, Alex bought Alana to his house, where his family was eating dinner.

"Don't say anything. Keep her safe. No time to explain. Jess, with me," Alex rushed out of the house, leaving Alana in his family's care. Jessica dashed behind him without a single word. She understood the situation since her spider senses were tingling for a while now.
