Why Did You Help Me?

Lin Yi was suspicious about Su Jing's honesty. Was this some other kind of ploy between Su Jing and Fang Ke?

She recalled someone had told her that Su Jing and Fang Ke were good friends, so why would Su Jing turn in her good friend to help her?

"That's right. These are indeed my drafts."

Lin Yi closed the folder and looked at Su Jing.

These drafts were very important to Lin Yi. This was the first series of designs she had prepared when she joined the company. She had put a lot of effort into it. All she wanted was to shut the mouths of those who said that she had relied on her improper relationship with Qin Feng.

The design evaluation day was approaching. If there were any problems with the drafts, her career as a designer would suffer a huge blow.

"Crazy, she's definitely crazy."

Fang Ke, who had recovered from her shock, muttered. She felt that Su Jing must have gone crazy to do something like that.

Su Jing pushed the dazed Fang Ke in front of Lin Yi and said, "She is the mastermind behind this incident. I'll hand her over to you. You can deal with her as you see fit."

Fang Ke shook her head in fear and tried to explain herself with a flattering smile, "Sister Lin Yi, listen to me. This is not what happened. I have no reason to harm you!"

"I wonder who just told me, 'who told that b*tch Lin Yi to pester Brother Qin Feng every day? I'm your best friend. Will I help you clear the obstacles?' I wonder if that counts as a reason?"

Su Jing mimicked Fang Ke's tone and revealed her motive.

Fang Ke was so astonished that her face turned pale. Why did Su Jing do this to her? Was it because she liked Qin Feng?

It had to be. Su Jing was such a petty person. It must be because she knew that she liked Qin Feng and held a grudge against her. Su Jing never forgave her.

After thinking this through, Fang Ke immediately put on a pitiful expression, looked at Su Jing, and said, "Jing Jing, you can't hate me and frame me just because you heard that I liked President Qin, right? I really don't want to compete with you for President Qin. Please let me go."

Su Jing raised her eyebrows. Not bad. Fang Ke actually thought of a way out.

Lin Yi held the folder in her hand as she watched the two besties confront each other. She wanted to see what they were up to.

"Don't try to turn this on me. It doesn't matter to me who you like. I don't even like President Qin. Why don't you just admit what you did?" Su Jing threw the ball back to Fang Ke.

When it became clear to Fang Ke that Su Jing was not so easy to deal with, she turned to Lin Yi and said, "Sister Lin Yi, trust me. I didn't steal your drafts. It's just a misunderstanding between Su Jing and me. She's unhappy with me and wants to make things difficult for me."

Seeing Fang Ke's wronged and pitiful face, Su Jing almost believed her words. It was as if Fang Ke was being bullied by herself.

"Lin Yi, let me give you a suggestion. Report this matter to the company and let the company investigate it properly and handle it fairly."

Su Jing did not want to continue tangling with Fang Ke, so she thought of a solution.

Seeing how honest and fearless Su Jing was, Lin Yi believed that this matter had nothing to do with Su Jing.

"If you didn't do anything wrong, I think Su Jing has a point. I will report this incident to the company."

Lin Yi did not go easy on Fang Ke. It was clear from Su Jing and Fang Ke's attitude it was most likely that Fang Ke was the one behind this.

Hearing this, Fang Ke fell back into her chair. She felt like her life was about to collapse. If the truth was revealed, her job would be over.

Lin Yi ignored Fang Ke and looked at Su Jing curiously, "Why are you helping me?"

She really couldn't figure out why a vicious person like Su Jing would be on her side.
