what Are They Scheming?

Sarah after pondering for a while spoke in a neutral tone "Alan let's talk after lunch, I have something important to tell you."

Alan replied while he stood up "Okay, let's get inside first."

"Kyaa!" Alan picked up Hannah in a princess carry, which surprised her but she soon regained her complexion.

She locked her arms around his neck while resting her head on his chest, she couldn't help but feel comfortable in his embrace.

Alan could hear Hannah sniffing him and tracing his back, seeing this sight a drop of sweat ran on his back, but he didn't stop her as he knew she was worried about his injury during his recent spar with Juna.

After some time they reached the royal dining hall, they sat down comfortably on the chairs and were going to start their lunch but Alan spoke which stopped everyone and all of the focus was shifted to him.

"I think I have some steaks left," Alan said with a smile on his face.

Hannah peeked at him without turning her head, It was obvious she wanted one, she just couldn't bring herself to ask him.

She was still worried about Alan, even if he had fully recovered. She was terrified after seeing his blood.

Isabella who remained silent and maintained a poker face suddenly had a shine in her eyes, she also loved the steak.

Sarah's mouth was sealed shut, she didn't want to act weirdly in front of her parents, but her pride won't let her do so.

"…" Robert and Luna didn't know what Alan was talking about and decided to wait instead.

Hannah didn't let go of Alan at all, she was still clinging to him holding his arm, the atmosphere of the dining hall was rather cold because the maids were glancing at them every now and then, but there weren't any hostile gazes which surprised Alan and Isabella as Humans were not very liked among the Beast-kin because their people were treated as slaves in the Human territory, and they can't dare to do anything against them as the King was present here, and going against him will be like stepping on death.

Sarah and her parents were surprised to see Hannah acting like that because a few days ago she didn't like seeing a man around her except her father and despised them and touching them was a faraway thing but, seeing her now she was acting like a maiden in love wanting to be spoiled by her lover.

Alan served the steak to them which had been cooked beforehand and stored in his dimensional ring to avoid it letting it go cool, as steak tastes better when served hot.

Robert and Luna after eating it had surprised face as it tasted way too better than they had expected, it tasted even better than the food their royal chefs cooked for them and what surprised them, even more, was that Alan was the one who made it, without anybody's help which again put them in thoughts thinking about the boy sitting in front of them.

Alan had a smile on his face after seeing their reactions, after all which cook won't be happy after seeing his food being praised?

The lunch went well without any problems, after that Alan and Isabella were guided to their rooms in which they will be resting during their stay.

But Hannah had something else going on her mind, she wanted to show her room to Alan and as this will be his first time so she was nervous and excited at the same time.

Alan soon reached his destination, he pushed the door and entered the room. What he saw there froze him in his tracks, he was baffled after seeing the room as the only word that could describe it was 'extravagant'.

The room was decorated with gold on the edges of the room with a wide space for at least 7 people to live in it comfortably, there was a gigantic bed in front of him which could accommodate 4 people easily.

"Alan."

Hannah's voice broke him from his daze and his whole focus was on the beautiful girl who was standing before him with a blush on her face going all the way to her cat-like ears.

"I'm so happy."

She then walked towards him and clutched his shirt, moving her face up she met Alan's gaze, for a moment she was lost in the pair of crystal blue eyes and his handsome face, but his touch on her face brought her to reality, Alan kept caressing her cheeks and moved his head towards her, and then they shared a passionate kiss, nibbling on each other's lips and biting sometimes, their bodies sticking close to each other feeling each others warmth.

They kissed for a while and reached near the bed somehow, breaking the kiss Hannah pushed him on the bed and he fell on it, she then climbed on it and sat on his lap while reaching for his lips and kissing him again, Alan couldn't think clearly as he his head was going dizzy in those kisses, her cherry-like lips were somehow tasty and addictive, after a few minutes they separated from each other a bridge of saliva still connecting them, but Hannah sucked on it relishing its taste.

"Looks like you are very naughty."

"!"

Hannah blushed heavily and she could no longer look in his eyes directly averting her gaze she rested her head on his chest, while Alan kept caressing her head she couldn't help but feel safe after feeling him lovingly stroking her head.

Hannah was so happy right now which was clear to see as she had a happy smile, and her tail was wagging. Alan couldn't control himself anymore and grabbed her tail gently, which surprised Hannah as her ears and tails were sensitive parts of her body, a moan escaped from her mouth, but she hurriedly closed her mouth with both of her hands.

"Ahhh!~"

Seeing this a smirk appeared on Alan's face, he loved seeing her reactions, he couldn't help but find her cute and he continued his teasing by stroking her tail and nibbling on her ears sometimes as well.

Meanwhile in another location inside the Royal Palace.

"Sarah…"

"What?" Sarah replied with a confused look on her face.

In front of her sat her mother, Luna who looked serious, she had a face which said a single story.

A face she made after she thought deeply about an important matter and was determined to do what she had thought.

She locked her eyes with Sarah and said "We have to do this, it's for her sake."

After pondering for a while Sarah answered "You know about Juna very well…" Sarah got up from her seat and continued "...she will hate us if we do this without her knowledge."

"I don't care even if she despises me, this is her last chance or else her life will be in danger" Luna also got up from her seat and walked towards a painting.

It was a painting of Luna holding two babies in her hands.

One was Hannah and the other was Juna, tears streamed down her eyes after seeing the smile Juna had in the painting.

"I know this is wrong but as a mother, I have to save my baby before she falls even more and her condition worsens in the future" Luna spoke with a sad smile.

Seeing her mother in pain, Sarah hugged her mother trying to calm her down.

"Alright, I will do this." She spoke with determination and a serious face.

She was ready to face the consequences, even if her sister ended up hating her. She was ready to sacrifice everything to save her life.

Luna took a pink bottle from her dimensional storage and handed it to Sarah.

"Be careful, do not let anyone find out about it." She paused for a second and continued "Even you father."

Sarah nodded with the same serious expression which refused to leave her face.

She left the room to look for her sister and complete this mission.

"I hope everything goes well," Luna muttered to herself with a worried face.

Alan had left Hannah's room after she fell asleep, he teased her a lot and she couldn't refuse his touch as she liked it a lot. After some time, she eventually fell asleep using Alan's hand as a pillow. He let her sleep soundly and left the room quietly after a couple of hours, not making any noise and then started strolling around the palace. He was with Hannah for a few hours and hadn't noticed but it was now nighttime. He reached a balcony at the end of the palace, watching over the beautiful sight of the full moon.

"Isn't the moon pretty?" Juna appeared beside Alan as she commented while gazing at the breathtaking sight before her sight.

Alan looked at her. He had noticed her appearing beside him but decided to ignore as she had a foul mouth and it was better to avoid her, but when he properly took a look at her he thought he was looking at Hannah as she looked the same as her after all they were twins but her attitude the complete opposite so he decided to reply her properly.

"Yes, indeed it's pretty…" he then smirked and said, "but not as compared to you."

Juna was flushed red due to embarrassment, she had actually started respecting him after their little spar.

"I heard everything from Sarah" Juna was still brimming from embarrassment but still continued calming her "Hannah might be naïve and childish but please don't doubt her, she isn't like me…" Juna muttered dejectedly "...who is cursed to hate men."

"I know about it," Alan replied, while still gazing at the moon.

"But…. you can change it, you are the bravest women I have ever met." Alan had a faint smile on his face  "…I know you love to fight, we are quite alike in that regard. You have faced much bigger challenges, so this is nothing. You can achieve anything you want if you put your mind to it."

Alan had heard from Sarah that Juna was one of the strongest warriors in the kingdom. To become powerful and trample all the men under her feet at such an early age, isn't an easy feat to achieve. What she had wasn't a curse, in fact, it was a blessing in disguise which helped her become stronger than everyone. Her hatred towards men and not being weaker than them caused her growth to be amplified.

"Why did you save me back there?" Juna was curious, she didn't know why Alan saved her by taking the hit directly for her sake.

She was overconfident in her strength. She was sure she could defeat him. There were two things which baffled her.

First, is his raw strength. Second, his control over mana and the fact that he only had one mana circle.

"…"

He started to think about how to answer her as he could have avoided the hit while saving her too, but he chose to take it head on, after pondering for a while he answered "hmm… I didn't plan to hurt you. I just wanted to teach you a lesson."

Alan rubbed the back of his hair making it a bit messy, he was actually trying to find excuses for his actions.

What he did was actually right as this was the only way to rack some knowledge in her brain, he followed his heart and not his brain and the result was positive.

"Thank You." after saying these words she left him, not because she didn't want to spend more time with him but because the curse was being activated every passing second, and she didn't want to pounce on him while not being senile.

"Haah…" Alan sighed after seeing her reaction, he knew what was happening with her as he saw her rubbing her legs, but decided to ignore it.

Alan relaxed and placed his hands on the guard rails of the balcony and continued watching the moon thinking about the events that took place.

His mission was to help Isabelle with the mana beasts, where Alan surprisingly found his new fiancée who was a member of the Beast-kin race and she was a princess on top of it.

His life has been like a fantasy novel which became a reality. He felt like he was in a dream, from which he didn't want anyone to wake him up.

He doesn't know what the future holds for him. But whatever it will be he will face any hardship as long as it is to protect his loved ones. Alan clenched his fists and had a determined face.

"Heeh~ what are you thinking so seriously about, Alan?" Sarah said as she approached him with a glass of wine in her hands.
