Two years passed since Alan awakened, and he has been training daily with Adam. Adam had taught him various skills. He practised Elemental magic with William. Alan didn't want to use elemental powers against Adam since he wanted to train his body by using normal mana.

He has never met Victoria and Ashley in the past two years, they only exchanged letters. Victoria and Ashley had been training to draw their second circle. It was now March and the academy will be starting in June. Exactly three months left before the academy opens its admission. And Alan is yet to draw his second circle.

Although he has been training and absorbing mana every day he didn't feel he has reached his bottleneck yet.

In this hall after having dinner:

William had his hand on his chin thinking about something quickly broke the silence

"It's understandable since you have dual elements, but isn't it still too long considering how recklessly you have been training?"

William was talking about Alan's mana circle; he wasn't able to reach the bottleneck even after two years.

'It's actually three elements, I guess that's the reason I have been taking so long Alan thought to himself.

Alan was able to gather both lightning and wind elemental mana but he never found out about his third element at all. He has been researching it in the library but there was no information about it. He awakened it but was not able to use it, that was a big turndown for Alan.

"I feel I am close to reaching the bottleneck, hopefully, I can draw my next circle soon" Alan spoke in a confident tone.

"Alan there is someone visiting you tomorrow Hehe~" Catherine spoke in a cheerful voice. She has been waiting for this day for so long.

"Is it the blacksmith I requested?" Alan wanted to create a weapon for himself, so he requested his parents for it. Since they didn't allow him to leave his house for the past two years even after he had recovered.

Catherine pouted " No it is someone special to you so dress well tomorrow"

"And we will be having a party day after tomorrow" William continued in a cold tone "All the nobles will be attending it"

The carter house stopped conducting or attending any parties when Alan fell into a coma.

"Now that you have recovered, no one shall look down on you "William spoke with disdain on his face.

"It's fine Dad, I can handle trash" Alan returned to his room after having this conversation with his parents.

The next day:

Alan was dressed in a nice red suit which was stitched to perfection. Alan was 6', he looked like a proper gentleman. With his white hair and blue eyes. The mc is really hot.

"Alan sir madam asked you to meet them in the garden" anna said in a neutral tone.

The garden had exactly three entrances. It Waved with all the flowers in the world. Alan used to relax himself looking at the flowers resting on the swing in the garden. Since he was not allowed to go out Alan spent most of his time trying out many things from his past life.

He had drawn the blueprint of various weapons. He spent his time in the kitchen making pastries using the memories of his past life. He wanted to start his own company in this world, but he needed loyal people to rely on, unlike in his past life. He couldn't just trust anyone except the people who genuinely cared for him.

Alan walked to the garden and stood in front of the fountain throwing pebbles into the water waiting for his parents.

"Alan!" he heard a sweet yelling voice.

His eyes trailed to the voice coming from his right.

There stood a girl no-no a 5'6 tall woman exactly. She was wearing a rose red full skirt with a red elegant cocktail hat. She had blonde hair that reached her hips and pink eyes which matched very well to her smooth white skin which glistened as the sun pinched her cheeks.

She stood looking at Alan with her mouth and eyes wide open as if they were in shock. Her cheeks flushed red. It was none other than Ashley.

Alan flashed a gentle smile and waved at Ashley. Ashley reclaimed her composure and state walking towards Alan without taking her eyes off him while she was followed by Catherine who had a loving smile on her face as always.

Alan quickly turned his head to notice a lady with a beautiful white frock and a long silver hairpin holding her playful pink hair which was rolled in the shape of a bun. She gave out a pleasant fragrance which could soothe anyone's mind.

"Alan, what is happening here?" Alan heard a stuttering voice.

He turned around only to find Ashely staring at him with a teary eye.

'Oh god! why is this happening to me' Alan thought to himself as he stared at his mom behind Ashley.

"Alan, I wanted to go on a date with you?" Victoria said in a serious tone turning Alan's head towards her.

"I asked uncle William when I could meet you" Victoria continued with the same serious tone "so I am here since he said you are free today"

"Huh?" Alan stared at his dad behind Victoria.

William stared whistling casually as if he had nothing to do with anything that is going on here.

"William, what is going on, why didn't you tell me this?" Catherine spoke as she folded her hands wanting answers from William.

'I am not going to give up on my daughter in law'

"Tell me why have you brought Ashley here?" William questions back Catherine

She didn't know how to react because William has never questioned back once after their marriage. He was afraid of the consequences. But now he has questioned his own wife back.

Sweat glided through William's chin as he put on a rebellious phase questioning his wife. He wanted Victoria to be his daughter-in-law no matter what.

That doesn't mean he didn't like Ashley. He preferred his friend's daughter just like Catherine who preferred Ashley over Victoria since she was her friend's daughter.

"Ahh I- I "words refused to come out of her mouth. She actually didn't know how to respond.

Suddenly Ashley spoke in a domineering voice "I am here to go on a date with Alan "She grabbed Alan's hand quickly after speaking her mind.

"Ah, this- "William wanted to say something but he couldn't. Not because he couldn't speak but he didn't know what to say.

He looked at Catherine to see if she would say something, but she flashed a smile after experiencing Asley's braveness.

"That's my daughter-in-law "Catherine whispered to herself in a proud tone.

A silence fell

....

Alan pulled them closer gripping their waist which startled Victoria and Ashley.

And flashed a gentle smile before commenting "Why don't I take you both on a date?"

Authors Thoughts- I think the time skip was necessary. I am going 18+ from now. I hope the pace is okay.
