The party

Alan was in his room checking out his new ring. Trying out all kinds of weapons. while anna was working with the other maids in getting the things ready for the party.

All the nobles of the dukedom will be present at the party. They would surely attend since the duke is having a party after three years. Even the other dukes were invited. But most probably the dukes wouldn't attend themselves, but send someone in their stead. It was just a normal party, not an important event. It wasn't a big deal if the other dukes didn't attend personally.

But all the dukes would personally attend a party if it was held by the king himself. Since the king doesn't have parties very often, if he is having a party, it would be to announce something important.

So, the dukes would personally attend to them with their families.

Alan kept trying out different weapons and checking their balance.

Swish!

'It's very easy to swing and it looks pretty durable' Alan wanted to try the durability of the weapons he created. His hands were itching for a spar.

Sigh!

But…

He couldn't since there is going to be a party today and if Catherine finds Alan training, she should literally put him back in a coma.

Alan walked to the window and looked towards the garden where he saw three devils planning something again. They were standing in a triangular formation with Victoria and Ashley in the middle nodding their heads violently. They were blushing listening to those three women lecturing them.

'What are they planning now' Alan felt a shiver down his spine.

It was evening:

Alan was in his room drawing a blueprint.

Knock, knock!

"Alan it's time for the party" anna spoke.

'Is it evening already' he thought as he glanced at the window.

The sun was about to set and Alan could see some nobles entering the party hall.

A weird smile appeared on Alan's face and he spoke "Yes I will be there Anna"

"Welcome," Catherine was greeting some nobles who had entered the party hall.

The hall was huge, it could accommodate more than a thousand people easily.

There was even a musical band that played soothing music.

"Wow, it's so beautiful" The guests were surprised by the stylish chandeliers in the hall. It was something they had never seen.

They were moving around the hall looking at the curtains, The pastries and food.

They looked like they were children taken to a zoo for the first time.

"It's very beautiful, duchesses" noble women complimented.

"Can you tell me how you made these cakes, it's very delicious" another lady spoke after taking a bite of the cake.

"Hey come have a taste of this food, I haven't tasted something this good even in the capital" other women spoke.

The capital always had the best in everything. Most nobles would visit the capital if they wanted to buy something luxurious. Even the best chefs had their restaurants in the capital and not in any duchies.

While some were praising, other aristocrats were jealous.

But a group of nobles kept staring at everything with hatred putting on a fake face.

"Tsk, what's so great about this" a man with brown hair and a fat belly spoke with a despicable look on his face.

The others around him had a disgusted look on their face.

"If not for the duke we could have made lots of money selling the beast men as slaves" a man pointed out the reason for their disgust.

"Yes, the beast women made us a lot of money before the duke found out" and continued "They sure are very tight down there. I tried one myself before selling them"

"But…now" another man clenched his fists in anger as he muttered under his breath.

"Not just that, he has blocked all our ways to make money"

"This will change soon" the man with orange hair spoke with a sly smile on his face.

Anna walked towards Catherine and William "Sir, mam lady Lucy is here" anna informed in a neutral tone.

Catherine and William looked towards the entrance.

A woman walked in wearing a long red frock, her peach skin matched her sea-green hair and brown eyes perfectly. She was 5'6 with a D cup breasts with an ass bigger than her breasts.

While her maid carried gifts for the party.

She was Lucy Anderson. She was the daughter of Duke Edward Anderson, who was the Duke of the West. She was a Wind mage with two mana circles. Her beauty rivalled Victoria and Ashley.

She stopped in front of William and Catherine.

She couldn't help but think 'What a beautiful couple, I can keep staring at them for a whole day'

"She giggled inwardly 'I want to be just like them'

She quickly greeted them in a gentle voice and a lovable face "Thank you for having me"

"Welcome lady Lucy" Catherine looked at her from to bottom and spoke with a pleasant smile on her face "You have grown up so much since the last time I met you"

William continued as he patted her head "Isn't this that tiny girl who used to run away seeing us all the time"

"Come on Uncle William, I am not tiny anymore" she pouted "I have grown very tall now "

William chuckled.

"Yes-yes, how is your father doing"

Sigh!

Lucy visibly sighed "He is always busy he doesn't even spend time with me nowadays"

William pondered for a while after listening to Lucy, it looked like he was thinking about something seriously.

Lucy looked at Mia who was going around eating anything her hands could reach.

Catherine asked anna to bring a slice of cake and handed it over to Lucy "Try this"

Lucy checked the black forest cake before having it.

"Ummmm~ it's too delicious" she pushed it down her throat "Aunty how did you make it"

Catherine didn't want to reveal this secret to anyone as Alan instructed but she didn't want to leave Lucy hanging in curiosity. She looked so adorable how could Catherine not give in?

"My son made it personally" Catherine whispered in Lucy's ears.

"What your son?" she questioned in a surprised tone.

Catherine nodded.

'wasn't he in a coma, has he recovered?' Lucy wondered 'I need to meet this person'

Everyone heard the news about Alan. But the news about Alan's recovery was kept a secret for two years. They waited for him to be strong enough to protect himself before revealing it to anyone. Anyway, everyone will see Alan today.

Lucy had heard that the duke had a son and he was very handsome. But she hadn't seen him since Alan would always stay at home since he had a weak body and all the nobles made fun of him.

'I need to meet him' She wanted to know the recipe for the cake.

William and Catherine left Lucy to enjoy the food and continued chatting and greeting the other nobles present.

A woman exclaimed in a loud tone "Oh my gosh, they are so beautiful"

Everyone glanced at the place where that woman was starting.

Everyone was surprised to see two angels. Of course, who else could they be? It was Victoria and Ashley who walked in a golden dress. It was a gift prepared by Catherine for them.

Their frocks were shining as if they were made of real gold.

They were embarrassed by the attention they were receiving. They walked straight to their parents.

Lucy frowned; she was just jealous. She felt inferior to them for some reason. she checked her dress

'Am I not pretty?' doubted her own beauty.

The party was going on for a while.

Some nobles were pestering Victoria's and Ashley's parents trying to aw them with their wealth and power. it was pretty obvious; they wanted the girls to be their son's fiancés.

Clack!

"It's really lively here"

A voice echoed in the hall

Everyone's head trailed their heads towards the voice including Lucy.

Alan stood at the entrance wearing a golden suit just like the girls. his black hair and blue eyes captivated all the females in the hall no exception for their age.

Step step

Alan walked towards his parents who were standing at the other end of the hall.

He could feel a lot of eyes staring at him. Some were with love mostly girls, some with jealousy of course the boys. And some with hatred.

Alan didn't bother paying attention to any of them.

Muaah~

Catherine hugged and kissed Alan on his cheeks "Son you look handsome as always"

"No one can escape from your magic" she chuckled.

All the nobles gathered were murmuring among themselves but Alan didn't waste his time looking at them. he just took a glimpse at everyone.

He noticed some nobles pestering Ashley and Victoria.

'Fucking pigs' they were just disgusting.

He noticed Lucy sitting at a table and staring at him while being pestered. Alan has never met Lucy and just thought she must be someone important. He didn't bother to find out who she was.

After a while the ballroom dance started.

Alan had a dancing class with his mother once a week. So, he was quite familiar with the steps.

Alan looked at Victoria and Ashley who were dancing together. He didn't even get the chance to complement them. No, it seemed like they were doing it on purpose. They were glancing at Alan from time to time with their faces flushed red.

"A-ah hello"

Alan looked behind him to find Lucy with a flushed face.

She was not able to look at Alan's face.

Badump

Badump!

'Oh no he saw me; I want him I want him' These thoughts were running in her mind.

Alan raised his hand inviting Lucy knowing her intention for approaching him. It was not just Lucy but all the girls in the room who wanted to talk to him but they were embarrassed to death. They were glancing at him the whole time.

Alan liked Lucy's courage so he wanted to give her the chance of dancing with him and make Victoria and Ashley jealous.

"Would you like to dance with me?" Alan asked with a gentle smile on his face.

Lucy slowly looked up at Alan. As soon as their eyes connected.

Now there is only one thing which was running in her mind in an infinite loop.

'I want him now. I want him now… no I want him inside me … I want to marry him…'

A weird girl indeed!
