Chapter Three

I have been traveling for about twelve days now and I have come to learn the common color these angels have. A lot of them have the color of green, yellow, and purple. Father's heart seems to be unique or maybe all God's are like that. I have not seen anyone with a different color yet. I wonder when the day will come when I meet this God of mine.

Before trying to find who my god is, I really do not know if it is night yet. This forest sure is big. I wonder how long it will take to see the next town. I kept walking and I hear water running near. I felt my throat was getting a little dry and went towards the sound. The sound of the water running got closer, but I began to smell blood. I followed the smell and almost tripped as it became steep.

Finally I found a body lying down near the river. I stood there for a few seconds as I finally found someone with a different color but it was red and gold. I went close to the body and kneel my knees next to him. I touch his wet chest and his heart was beating slow. The light was slowly dying. He was on the verge of death.

I looked around to find a life force that can be used to transfer energy to his body. Father told me that I should only use this power as the last option since it can take a big toll on my body, but I think this moment is a good reason to use it.

I found a big tree that had a lot of life and energy flowing through the branches and I jumped up to it and broke a branch off. I ran back to the man on the ground and kneel next to him. Placing my right hand onto his chest, I held the branch on my other hand and began the energy transfer to his body. I saw the branch slowly dying as the light from his chest began to get bigger and much more brighter. It looked so blinding. His heartbeat was becoming more regular which was a good sign. I let go of the dead branch and felt around his body for any deep injuries that might be bleeding, but it seemed that I also healed it. This was the first time I actually tried using this power and it seemed to work on the first try.

I heard the man whisper from his sleep and got curious of what he was trying to say. I went closer to his lips and tried listening to his words.

"You traitor...traitor."

"Traitor?" I whisper. What happened?

I suddenly felt dizzy and I was about to get up, but my whole body felt like it was slowly becoming heavy. My head fell onto his chest and I couldn't feel anything. My eyes slowly closed tight and I went into a deep sleep. I can see why Father warned me of using this power. It really took a toll on my body.
