The Firewall worked even better with a car. Shin didn't have to worry about being slowed down by running someone over, if the wall of fire burned everyone who got too close in the first place.

But strangely enough, there weren't many human puppets trying to attack Shin as he drove to the highway leading out of the town.

"This can mean only one thing—the Fourth God must be preparing a bigger trap. Would he call more of his transmigrator servants, what do you think, Tetsu?" Shin wondered aloud.
