Since Lux and Khione started talking more than she did with the other girls, Sierra was the first to get up from her seat, pretending that her SkyLimit bracelet had an incoming call.

Both Bella and Nia looked at each other, speechless, a single thought crossing their minds, 'Smart move!'

They regretted not doing the same, as now they were stuck there, wearing awkward smiles on their faces, since Lux and Khione ignored them a bit.

"Bella, do we still have those cookies in the kitchen? Let me check!" Not thinking of another good excuse to leave, Nia used whatever she could think of and also left.

Bella was now the only one that remained, and she saw that Lux gave her a short look before looking at Khione once again.

'What's that gaze supposed to mean?! You want your big sister to be your wingman or something?'

Not understanding Lux's meaning at all, Bella sighed before she made up her mind.
