Meeting for the First Time

"What do you mean by spying on you?" Aurelia pouted. "This is called love. Do you understand? Love!"

Aurelia was obviously not satisfied with the term 'spying'.

However, Alvin had already gotten the answer he wanted. Aurelia had probably installed the camera to observe him.

This kind of 'love' was too heavy for Alvin. Alvin shook his shoulders and tried to forget about it.

"I told you before that I was reincarnated," Aurelia suddenly said. "So I know that you will be slandered by the company today. Of course, I won't allow such a thing to happen."

Aurelia paused and began to explain the matter.

"Under normal circumstances, we would meet a year later."

"We would talk about everything. That includes the fact that you like old songs, especially the song 'Poker Face'. You didn't hold back that piece of information."

"So, you naturally brought up what you experienced in your last job. You were framed as a thief, but there was no way to prove your innocence. You tried to explain, but there was no evidence."

"Your boss didn't let the police take you away in the end. Instead, he settled it privately. It could have been for the sake of the company's reputation, or it could have been due to his personal feelings towards you."

"In the end, you were dismissed from your job."

"Fortunately, I remembered the date and the details you mentioned. I rushed over in time so that you would not be branded as a thief."

Alvin nodded after listening.

According to Aurelia, if she hadn't interfered, Alvin would have been slandered as a thief today and lost his job.

And now, it seemed that he had indeed avoided being labeled as a thief.

But obviously, he couldn't keep the job anymore.

Aurelia was simply too ostentatious today. She wore a maid's outfit and took Alvin away. There was no way to explain this matter to his colleagues in the future.

Alvin didn't want to become a well-known figure in the company with this incident.

"Okay, okay."

Aurelia glanced over and seemed to have perceived something. She smiled and said, "I know you like to keep a low profile and you don't know how to face your colleagues after this. So I helped you resign and gave the resignation letter to your boss."

"Uh, alright then."

Alvin shut his mouth after saying that.

It had to be said that in front of Aurelia, he was practically an open book.

She knew him too well, it was almost impossible to hide his thoughts.

Alvin never thought that there would be someone in this world who could understand him so well. She understood his every move, his thoughts, and was even able to figure it all out with just a glance.

Perhaps, Aurelia was really someone who was reincarnated?

Alvin had always been scientifically educated, but what happened today made him start to believe that the girl next to him really came from the future.

Alvin had many questions at the moment, but the most crucial one was their current destination.

This was because he felt that Aurelia did not seem to have a clear destination. She drove around the city and had already made a lot of detours. Moreover, Aurelia was even looking at her phone while she waited for the traffic lights to turn green.

Alvin asked, "So, where are we going now?"

"Anywhere is fine. We're going to a place that's raining."

Such an answer made Alvin confused. The city outline became smaller as Aurelia drove. The sky today was cloudless, and it did not seem like it would rain.

Alvin no longer asked for the reason why Aurelia wanted to go to such a place.

Two hours later, Aurelia finally found a place that was raining.

This place was already the outskirts of another city. Fortunately, the Bugatti sports car was undeniably fast. In just two hours, they had driven far away and found a place that was raining.

Presently, the sky was gloomy and it was drizzling. The surroundings were covered with weeds and trees.

Occasionally, a large truck would pass by in the distance, making a rumbling sound. However, it was quickly covered by the sound of rain because the rain was getting heavier.

Aurelia rolled down the window and stretched out her hand to feel the raindrops. Suddenly, she laughed, "Very good. It looks almost exactly like the place we met the first time."

Then, Aurelia pointed to a tree in the distance and said, "Darling, please get out of the car. Wait for me under that tree."

Alvin heard her instruction but he did not move.

He stared at Aurelia without saying anything. He simply stared.

After a moment of silence, Aurelia seemed to understand something. "You b*stard, did you think I would hit you with my car? Then don't get out. Close your eyes."

"Why do I have to close my eyes?" Alvin asked.

"I want to change," said Aurelia as she took off her headband.

Alvin nodded. He leaned his face out of the car window and waited quietly.

He actually didn't want to come to this place because it looked deserted. If Aurelia wanted to harm him, he wouldn't be able to escape.

He still remembered Aurelia's jump in the office.

The jump was obviously out of the range of what normal people could achieve.

She reached the four-meter ceiling. Her strength couldn't be measured using the standard of a normal woman!

However, he didn't expect Aurelia to see him pondering about this.

He heard a rustling sound.

Alvin looked out of the window and swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

He was still staring at Aurelia through the reflection of the car window.

He was not doing this because of anything else, but because he was afraid that Aurelia would take advantage of this moment to attack him.

After all, one must be wary of others.

According to what Aurelia had said, she came from the future.

But from Alvin's point of view, they had only known each other for less than half a day.

"Okay."

Alvin heard a crisp voice and turned his head.

Aurelia had already changed out of her embarrassing maid outfit and put on the white dress that she had worn when they met at the cafe.

It was a pure white flannel dress without any decorations. It was plain and unadorned. However, with Aurelia's beauty, she seemed as though she had come out from a gorgeous sketch.

"Forgive me for being willful this time."

Aurelia held the steering wheel and said, "I want to relive the scene when we first met. This was something that happened five years ago for me."

"That was one of my best memories. Whenever the sky is grey and it starts raining, I would think of you slowly walking towards me."

"Besides, we are both people who like rituals. I hope to leave you with a good memory as well."

"Alvin, would you be willing to repeat it with me?"
