**Chapter 10: Motivation or Discipline**

Jin streamed for an additional hour, hitting a peak viewership of 59, with 16 new followers – a pretty impressive ratio.

He wrapped up the stream earlier than initially planned because a video idea sparked his motivation, and he didn't want to lose that drive later on.

It was 11 AM, and Jin thought, why not kickstart the day with an early workout? Since he is already putting in the effort, might as well document the journey and create a transformation video. Jin already had a ton of pictures capturing the progress from the old Jin to now.

Jin being 15, turning 16 this year, and yes 15, since he had a gap year in elementary. But aside that, being his age, he couldn't really be too tough on his body, but even without that, Jin noticed he was growing muscles pretty fast. Even though he hasn't worked out for that long.

Is as if he is on somthing, somthiing not natural.. BUT trust he is in fact all natural.

Jin couldn't help but wonder if he somehow inherited some crazy genes, almost like a character from "Baki." Or, perhaps, it's the fact that he exists in a world where Doraemon is real – a clear indicator that this isn't his original world. Maybe, just maybe, different rules apply here.

Like how everyone and their mother got crazy physiques in One Piece.

Anyways, I digress.

Jin kickstarts his journey by brainstorming a title: "My 1 Year Body Transformation as a Teen (Natural?)".

Jin adds the question mark to infuse an air of curiosity and a touch of suspicion to the title. It's a strategic move to engage viewers, leaving them intrigued about the authenticity.

Jin dives into the editing process, and boy, did it take a while – a solid 2+ hours of work. Ensuring every detail looked spot-on, he recognizes the importance of presenting it well for the online world. After all, internet never forgets(sort of), making it look nice is non-negotiable.

Finding photos and videos became a journey of its own. Old Jin had a album of a whopping 1000+ pictures and videos of his body. Album was named "Body", basic but straightforward.

Jin changes the name to, "GigaChad"

On the bright side, the abundance of material from the collection offered Jin a huge number of options to work with.

Jin also wasn't about to just toss together a bunch of pictures and post that. No, he wanted this to be more than a visual dump. Spending time editing, he crafted a narrative—a journey marked by dedication, hard work, and the undeniable proof of transformation.

Giving it a perspective, that It's not just about images; it's about the sweat, the effort, and the evolution captured in each frame.

In addition to the visual storytelling, Jin infused the video with personal touches. Small captions popped up throughout, creating a direct conversation with the audience. He spilled the details – sharing snippets of his routine, his diet, and a dialogue that turned the video into more than just a transformation showcase. It became a genuine connection, a conversation with those sharing the journey.

Acknowledging that some might not take him seriously due to his age, Jin shrugged it off. Still might have some impacts on some people. At least thanks to his mature appearance, his height and facial features, often led people to mistake him for someone older, possibly 17 or 18.

Jin admitted to himself that the initial goal wasn't necessarily about motivating others; it was content creation. However, as he poured time and effort into the project, a genuine love for it emerged. Now, he found himself genuinely hoping that the video would resonate with others, especially teenagers like him. Reflecting on his past life, he recalled the times he desired a better physique but often succumbed to excuses like "I could do this next summer vacation" or blaming it on a supposedly fast metabolism.

Transitioning into the next phase, Jin took extra care to infuse a sense of peacefulness into the video. Calming music became the backdrop, creating an atmosphere of peace and reflection. Beyond showcasing physical transformation, Jin aimed to evoke a serene mood, inviting viewers into a space of quiet inspiration.

While the tranquil atmosphere might have seemed at odds with the theme of the video, which was something distinct from peace, Jin embraced it as his unique style. He aimed to create a visual experience that reflected his own artistic flair and individuality.

Maybe it was the Japanese out door vlog videos, since many shared serene elements and calming vibes. Jin was drawn to that, he liked that a lot. He might make a out door vlog video as well. Anyways the influence seeped into his own content creation. Living in a relatively isolated area with a backyard, he was fortunate to have access to beautiful natural surroundings. It provided the perfect opportunity for his vision of a peaceful vibe.

"Man am I lucky the old Jin used to take so much photos and stuff, is as if he knew I was going to make this video!"

Continuing with the video creation, Jin captured a series of videos/shots, shirtless, basking under the warmth of the sunset in his backyard. The golden sunlight served as a natural spotlight, creating a visually compelling scene for his transformation video.

In the videos Jin spoke out his mind, delving into a thoughtful discussion, particularly about motivation and discipline.

Jin continued capturing moments, taking additional videos under the cover of darkness. The contrast of the night enhanced the visual diversity.

Maintaining a keen eye for aesthetics, Jin ensured that every element, whether under the sunlight of the sunset or the cover of the dark night, adhered to a visually pleasing and aesthetic quality.

And- alright enough with the behind-the-scenes details; let's cut to the chase. After a considerable amount of effort, the final product was ready.

Wrapped up and exhausted, Jin completed the project by 3 am. Drained from pouring everything into this endeavor, he clicked the upload button and finally allowed himself to rest, heading off to bed with the satisfaction of a finished creation. And his best yet.

The video started with revealing a snapshots of the old Jin, a figure shrouded in depression. The haunting look in his eyes spoke volumes, conveying a silent plea that he didn't want to endure the weight of existence.

The images portrayed the old Jin's weak frame, a body skinnier than usual, hinting at the struggles he faced with proper nutrition during that time.

Captions emerged on the screen, accompanied by Jin's voiceover in his best gentle and calm tone he could produce.

"I didn't like my body; I was going through some stuff and didn't take care of it. But I decided to channel those negative emotions into working out, laying out all my thoughts and throwing them out the window," Jin calmly narrates. As the screen opens up more similar photos.

Of course the video wasn't 100% the truth, with Jin hiding away truths. Such as how the old Jin, though tired to fight his depression but failed, unlike the one portrayed in the video.

Jin also added more "fake" details like this throughout the video, making it appear a bit more dramatic.

"I quit many times, or only worked out when I was motivated, not keeping a strict schedule," Jin confesses, laying bare the real and often challenging aspects fitness journeys.

"I occasionally, would feel a random surge of motivation hit me, an urge to go and work on my body. Watching videos of others achieving their goals on social media fueled that feeling,"

To keep the audience engaged, the video continues to roll out a montage of pictures and videos from Jin's early days of working out.

"But that's never enough, and it never will be, not for me at least. Motivation is like dopamine – it comes and goes, and if you constantly starve for it, you'll find yourself endlessly looking for it," Jin reflects.

His words pointing to the message about the need for something more sustainable in the journey toward self-improvement.

"Discipline, that's what became my game-changer. When I strung together a solid streak of workout days, the pride I felt was unmatched. I became unwilling to break that chain, doing everything in my power each day to chase my goal,"

As Jin narrates, the images seamlessly shift to showcase his evolving physique. His once frail body transformed gradually, regaining a sense of normalcy first. Then muscles begin to sculpt and define.

"I realized I had to toughen up my mind too. Sure, putting pressure on your body can yield improvements, but without a resilient mindset to fuel your will, your body might not fully cooperate. When you want to get up from your comfortable bed and pursue something you desire, your mind might hold you back. It's all connected – body and mind. One can't complete the journey without the other,"

"That's how I become to form my discipline"

A video appears on the screen of Jin in a tracksuit.

Jin directs his gaze towards the camera, pointing to it, " I bet your in your bed, or a comfy little place, I was like that to. Or maybe your sad? All wounded up, emotionally, well don't say I can't understand you, because I was like that at some point to" Jin says with a stronger voice than before. This might've been the only part of the video where he was a bit more strong, trying to teach the audience something.

Jin raises his hands in the air, a gesture of determination. "But I didn't want that. I wanted to change, and I have changed. Now, I'm not going to say things like, 'Look at me, if I can do it, so can you,' or anything of that nature to motivate you. That's not the purpose," he asserts calmly.

"The purpose is to show you guys the difference," Jin declares, pointing upwards. "I'm here," he motions, then points downward, "and you, my friend, are here. And I'm thankful for that. Thank you, because with so many weak-minded people, it's easier to ascend to the top 1%," he expresses.

Saying it all with a sly grin, almost mocking the audience, Jin starts jogging away from the camera, seamlessly continuing his workout routine. This added a touch of salt, as if implying that the viewers will never catch up to him. He disappears into the distance, leaving an air of determination lingering.

The video darkens for a few suspenseful seconds, before slowly turning back on.

This time around seated in his backyard, the scene is painted with lush greenery and vibrant flowers, creating a serene atmosphere. The sunlight filters through the leaves of a tree, casting a gentle warmth on Jin. His brown skin tone appearing more warmer than usual.

If the Jin from before looked a bit edgy with all his "bad boy" words and behavior.

If the previous Jin exuded a bit of edginess with his "bad boy" words and behavior,

Now Jin appeared incredibly appealing and approachable, as the sunlight accentuates his features. There's a softness in his gaze, conveying a kind and young soul.

He starts speaking with a gentle smile, "Did any of that offend you guys? I'm willing to bet a lot of people clicked off the video after that haha..at least we now got rid of the weak minded people- just kidding haha. But I'm apologize if it did, I always just wanted to say something "cool" like that" Jin says the word 'cool' sarcastically.

Jin then gazes towards the sunset, his expression shifting as if lost in contemplation.

Before continuing, "I'm chasing perfection.

Will I reach it? No. Will I be able to make progress though? Definitely."

Jin then turns around to the camera before giving it quick wink.

Once more, the video darkens for a brief moment, before changing into a new scene.

🎬

This time around Jin was showcasing his final body in its full glory, As the screen pans across Jin's physique, intricate details come into focus—the chiseled lines of his six-pack abs, the sculpted definition of his chest and arms, and the overall symmetry of his toned frame. Not to much muscles but toned well.

"Discovering the power of discipline has changed me. It's not about waiting for motivation; it's about showing up, day in and day out. Real change happens when you commit, even on the days when you'd rather not. The journey isn't about perfection; it's about progress, and I'm still a work in progress. Now I'm just reflecting on myself, what you will do with these words is up to you, mock me? Make fun of me? Okay. Cool I don't care. Sayonara," The video ends with his last words, screen turning dark, as a peaceful city pop song starts playing in the background.
