2 I Want To Bite Him

Being a detective has a lot of benefits. He could easily prance into a crime scene and involve himself with the investigation. In the entire department, he was one of the most outstanding detectives and the youngest one at that.

He wasn't aiming to be the hero of justice nor was he solving crimes as part of his job. He was merely satisfying his curiosity and solving the mysteries in every puzzle in a crime scene.

At only twenty-five, he solved over a hundred crimes that were filled with riddles and took years for others to solve. Hence, even the higher-ups couldn't take their eyes off him. Whether it was a good thing or not, Kaisar wasn't afraid of anything or what they could do to him.

However, there was one slip up. Kaisar Chu never thought that one day, his personal life that no one has ever dared to question and dare to trespass, was suddenly thrown into chaos as a strange woman braved the odds.

He met several kinds of women, beautiful, seductive, deceptive, and innocent. Every woman had their own uniqueness and beauty, but the man they gave their effort and heart with was the unfeeling Kaisar, who had no interest in love, and certainly, he didn't have the kind of time to waste it on women.

However, the woman who kept on ogling him and following him for hours and days was one of a kind.

And certainly, his situation was rare and he didn't mean it in a good way. He wished he listened to his grandmother and dated someone while he still could, and when his life was still normal.

Kaisar didn't know what he did in his past life to deserve this, but one thing was clear, never in his life, did he desire to have a 'ghost' accompany him.

Yes, a ghost.

A female ghost.

And he didn't know what to do with it.

In all his twenty-seven years of being alive in this world, he never encountered a situation where there was no solution to his problems. Where no answers to his questions.

He could make any suspect admit to their crimes by just spending time with them in the interrogation room and make them bend their knees as they beg him for mercy. The crime scene was his playground and solving the hardest puzzle involving a crime was his favorite, but this complicated problem he's facing right now was the hardest thing he encountered in his entire life.

These past few days, he's been looking for a shaman or a priest that could exorcise the female ghost while not being too obvious that the ghost will know that he plans to exorcise it.

He made these priests and shamans he invited to his home wear suits and sometimes act like they were his guests to not make it obvious that he was trying to exorcise the female ghost.

However, all these exorcists and priests he invited in his home never succeeded and some didn't even try to exorcise her.

According to some of them, the spiritual energy of the ghost was too strong and the ghost itself was something they couldn't take on without any preparations. One of the priests he hired even said that once he stepped inside the floor he lived in, the entire floor felt like it would swallow him whole.

While some of them said that the spirits and nonhuman beings around the building didn't even have the courage to get near the building, in fear of what was living in there.

It was that strong that no matter how much Kaisar paid the exorcists, shamans, and priests, but they would only shake their heads, apologize and pack their things without looking back.

Kaisar has been trying to solve this problem that his eyes had black circles under it. He couldn't help but ponder what kind of ghost could have such strength to reject exorcism?

For the past few days he stayed inside his home, the female ghost seemed to have nothing else to do other than stare at him and try to get his attention.

However, Kaisar refused to acknowledge and let the female ghost know that he could see her. Thankfully, the recent activities that his guest conducted didn't alarm the female ghost and made her aggressive.

Who would know what the female ghost does if she finds out he could actually see her.

Currently, the said female ghost was lying on the bed beside him. And even without opening his eyes, Kaisar knew that she was shamelessly staring at him.

He could simply move out of this high-end apartment, but that means he's surrendering without a fight and as much as this whole situation pains him, Kaisar couldn't betray his pride as a man and run with his tail tucked between his legs just because a female ghost wouldn't leave him alone.

"Aiyoo, He looks so delicious. I want to bite him."

Kaisar abruptly opened his eyes and sat faster than he could ever do in his entire life upon hearing the female ghost speak of wanting to bite him.

And as much as he wanted to deny it, the female ghost still scared him the most.

"Hm? What's wrong?" Next to Kaisar, Yang Mi also sat up and asked, "Did you have a nightmare?" She waved a hand at him, "It's alright, I'm here. You'll never have a nightmare."

The man sitting beside her stiffened like a huge block of ice and his breathing quickened.

'You! It's you! You're my nightmare!' Kaisar continued to scream inside his mind for an entire minute as he blankly stared into the open space.

He wanted to lash out at the female ghost beside him and tell her to leave him alone but that will put him into a huge risk of being found out.

So, he continued to act normal and pretend he couldn't hear her. He suddenly stood up and planned to get as far as he could get away from Yang Mi.
