17 Could It Be...

Haa… Such an easy thing to say but harder to do. Yang Mi wanted to cry.

For God's sake, she was a ghost! Love was never her thing, duh! How was she supposed to make the detective she's been stalking for a few weeks now fall for her?

To him, she was a stranger. The woman he saved at a crime scene and lost her memories!

There was no way he would fall for her. That's just too unethical and unreal! Who would fall for someone you almost killed?

And if ever there was a chance. A very tiny one. Wouldn't his feelings for her become ingenuine? He would only love her because of his guilt for almost killing her.

Which also means… she'll get no points from it since it's not real love!

In the end, she'll die because she wouldn't succeed in making him truly love her!

She only has 71 hours and several minutes to get some points. If she fails to get some love points from him, she would be directly sent to hell.

Problems kept on raining on Yang Mi. She had just faced the reality that she turned into a human. She needed to get points for her to prolong her life and survive, or else she will ve sent to Hell.

But that was not all.

She now also had to make a man fall in love with her.

Feeling dizzy from all these, Yang Mi felt her vision spinning before it turned completely dark.

But before she lost her consciousness, she heard a voice calling out to her.

"Are you really sure she's alright?" Kaisar watched on the side as Lu He Yan checked the condition of the lady who was sleeping in the bed.

When Yang Mi fell unconscious, it was Kaisar who saw it as he was looking at her.

Thankfully, Lu He Yan was with him and he was able to check up on her condition.

"I already checked. She's alright." Lu He Yan put his stethoscope back in his coat's front pocket. "But she's still recovering and perhaps because she couldn't remember anything aside from her name, her mind must have been quite shocked."

Kaisar asked, "And how long will she stay here until she completely recovers?"

"Well, that'll depend on her body. Her operation was successful and luckily, the bullet was only a centimeter away from her heart and didn't graze it. So, it'll be a fast recovery." Lu He Yan replied. "However, she should stay here for two to four weeks so we could monitor her condition."

Kaisar kept quiet for quite some time. His eyes were drawn on the pale faced young lady in the bed.

She looked ethereal like a fairy with her black hair framing her beautiful face.

But the more he sees her in this human form, Kaisar seemed to begin to believe that her ghost form was just part of his dream. A prophetic dream that he foresaw before he encountered her at the crime scene.

Or so he'd liked to think.

However, he had no way to answer how things turned out like this. So, Kaisar decided to accept his half-baked and own thought-out answer since no one could tell him anything.

Lu He Yan thought that his best friend's silence was because he was worried about the young lady. He felt glad to see this change from him and couldn't wait to tell the tale to Kaisar's mother.

All these years, Kaisar's mother and Lu He Yan have been teaming up to set him up with girls who could become his wife. But alas, Kaisar's walls were too solid and guarded that no one could put damage to it.

Ever since after his fiance left him for her dreams and broke off the engagement, Kaisar never felt the need to be around women any longer. The heartbreak he had to suffer that time was tremendous and that must be why he thought that he should never fall for anyone again.

Of course, Kaisar's mother let him be for a few years. She thought that after a year or two he would heal from the heartbreak and find someone who could help him open up again just like any normal guy.

Unfortunately, that 'someone' never appeared as he continued to live his single life at its finest.

Kaisar was born so handsome that many girls would rip their hair out just to battle against themselves and see who wins his heart.

Lu He Yan saw how these girls fought out like crocodiles fighting over a piece of meat. They couldn't care less about what method they should use to get Kaisar in their arms.

Actresses and young heiress would always flock around him. Even maids would constantly try to get their chance to get his attention. However, none of them got him to look at them.

Actually, Lu He Yan pondered why there was no news of any of these women being successful at all? They could seduce Kaisar and do sinister things to make him theirs but even after a few years, there was no news of the Chu family receiving a new Mrs. Chu.

Could it be…

Lu He Yan froze abruptly and slowly stared at his friend.

Walking up to him, Lu He Yan patted Kaisar on his shoulder and said, "Bro, don't worry. I'll recommend you to the best urologist in the country."

Kaisar: "…"

Not done with speaking, Lu He Yan continued, "You know what. I'll send some Panax ginseng to your flat so you can drink it anytime. I hope your life will get better soon."

Hearing that, Kaisar's face darkened as he viciously glared at him, "Lu He Yan, Siberian sea or Tokyo Bay. Where do you want me to drown you?"
