A supreme beauty

'Is my life going to end before it can even start?' Arthur thought. Just then, he heard a voice from behind. 

"Hey kid, who are you? What are you doing here?"

'Phew! It's not a beast.' Arthur thought, but tensed again when he thought how humans were more dangerous to beast in a cultivation world. Well… it was true in every world, to be exact.

'Let's pray for the best.' He thought and slowly turned around. When he saw three people standing there in blood-red robes, his heart skipped a beat. 

Why?

It happened not only because of the ominous color of the robes, but also because the girl — who looked to be 17 or 18 — standing in the middle of two young men, who weren't any older than 20 years old, was way too beautiful. She was even more beautiful than the actresses and idols he had seen in his past life.

She had an oval face, a sharp nose, beautiful gem-like silver eyes and tempting pink lips. Her skin was moon white and tender without any blemish and long black hair cascaded like a waterfall and reached her mid-back. 

Her breasts weren't big, but the bulge on her chest hidden beneath her robes was enough for Arthur to determine they were somewhere between B and C cup size. 

Unfortunately, because of her loose robe, he couldn't tell how well-proportioned her figure was, but he could imagine it was enough for any man to salivate after.

As Arthur looked at the girl in a daze, the men beside her frowned in displeasure. One standing on her right laughed darkly, 

"Continue ogling at my junior sister and I'll gouge your eyes out."

Hearing this, Arthur shuddered and immediately came out of his trance-like state. He was about to apologize when the girl turned to the man who had just threatened him and glared at him, making the man flinch and then frown.

'What did I do wrong?' He thought. This confused the other man and Arthur, too.

After glaring at him, she turned to Arthur, walked over to him, only stopping when she was just three feet away from and giggled sweetly. 

"Hehe, I never thought the day would come when big brother Arthur would appreciate my beauty."

"Eh?" Arthur fell into a daze once again when he saw her smile and heard her bell-like laughter, but he was confused. 

'Big brother Arthur? Am I her blood brother or just someone she knows? I remember people address each other as brothers and sisters in the Chinese cultivation novels to show closeness.'

It shocked the two young men when they saw her laugh because although it had been a long time since they came to know each other in their sect; they had never seen her smile so cheerfully.

They exchanged a glance and walked forward. Smiling at Arthur, the one on the left side, who had asked him who he was, said, 

"Oh? So, this brother is someone junior sister Alice knows. Forgive us for not recognizing you."

"Oh…" Arthur opened his mouth to speak but hesitated because even though he could understand their language, perhaps thanks to the system, it clearly wasn't English or any other language that he had come across in his life. It was a completely different dialect. So, he wasn't sure if he could speak it, but he had to try.

"I-It's okay." He said and got surprised when the words came out in this strange language.

"Thanks for brother's magnanimity." The duo laughed, casting furtive glances at Alice to see if she was satisfied, but Alice didn't show any reaction toward them and was looking at Arthur with furrowed brows.

"Are you alright, big brother? You don't recognise me?" She asked. She could feel his gaze wasn't the same as what she was familiar with and he seemed to look at her as if she was a stranger and not his friend.

"Ah… that… I don't know what happened, but I seemed to have forgotten everything." Arthur said, sounding bewildered.

Alice's eyes widened when she heard this. "This… how could it be?"

Then suddenly, she noticed his face was turning pale by the second. Worried, she asked, "What's happening? Are you feeling alright?"

"Hm? I feel fin—" Arthur trailed off when he noticed he was suddenly feeling weak and his head had started to spin.

'Huh? Is it because I only have 1 health point? But wasn't I fine just a while ago or was it just because of my transmigration 'privilege'?' He thought, gritting his teeth to not lose consciousness.

"He seems to be in a severely weakened state." The man on the right spoke.

Hearing this, Alice hurriedly took out a small box from the pouch on her waist and opened it to reveal a pea sized green pill. As soon as it appeared, a faint refreshing aroma spread.

"Here, big brother. Eat this pill. It will make you feel better." She said, putting the pill in front of Arthur's mouth.

Arthur looked at her, hesitated for a moment, and then opened his mouth and ate it.

Boom!

As soon as the pill entered his stomach, a refreshing medicinal energy burst out of it, flowing into every corner of his body. Slowly, the paleness receded from his face and his spinning head slowly turned to normal.

The two men beside Alice looked shocked at when they saw her feed the green pill to him. The guy of right couldn't help but ask in astonishment.

"Junior sister, you… you gave that grade two vitality pill to him? Isn't that a waste of a treasure? He is just an ordinary person. Any other medicine would have helped him."

The guy on the left shook his head when he heard this and looked at him with pity in his eyes. He also felt it was a waste, but he didn't say it out loud because Alice clearly valued Arthur very much and would most likely get angry if he said that. But apparently his companion didn't care to use his mind.

Just as he had expected, Alice turned to look at the guy on the right, her eyes narrowing dangerously at him, and suddenly,

Whoosh!

She grabbed his neck, causing his face to turn pale, and asked coldly, "Do you have a death wish?"

The man's eyes widened. He never expected her reaction to be so violent. Even the man on the left was surprised.

"J-Junior sister, I… I'm sorry." The man apologised even though he didn't know what he had done wrong.

"Hmph!" Alice harrumphed coldly, but released his neck and said, "What a mere grade two pill amount to my big brother's life? Even if I had to use everything I have, I wouldn't hesitate."

Arthur was surprised and felt warm in his heart when he heard this. Then he noticed the words floating on top of her head. He hadn't noticed it earlier because he was transfixed by her beauty.
