My Fucked Up World Traveling System

Status: Indefinite Hiatus. We live in a world where monsters dominate the earth, causing humans to be pushed into small colonies that are barely thriving, unable to fight back with our useless weaponry. But once we were on the brink of extinction, people began obtaining magic systems, which allowed us to push back and gain some of the lost land we had once. … Three years later, in a small house on the outskirts of the New York safe zone, lived a 15-year-old boy named Alex with his aunt and uncle, since his parents were killed in a siege of monsters three years ago. Today, Alex would be awakening his system, which would allow him to become an adventurer to fight in the dungeons or the monsters in the wilderness. … They soon arrived at the ceremony, and it started shortly after with hundreds of young men and women awakening their systems with their families watching. Eventually, it became Alex’s turn, and he stepped up to the awakening stone and pressed his hand against it. 'With his level being ten levels higher than before, this will be more difficult.' Aurora sighed in dissatisfaction.

She looked at her status.

These were her stats after slaughtering all the monsters that had inhabited the dungeon, besides the enraged alpha wolf in front of her.

The alpha wolf didn't waste anymore time and attacked first. His figure flickered, leaving an afterimage behind.

He appeared in front of Aurora within a matter of a second and attacked. His attack was pretty ordinary, as it seemed like no more than a single swing of his paw with extended claws.

The speed of his attack was fast, much faster than Aurora could dodge. Thus, to counter this attack, she conjured an ice wall between them.

When the wolf's attack hit the ice wall, it sliced cleanly through it with its claws, but this didn't surprise Aurora one bit. She jumped high in the air before the Anton flew into it due to inertia.

Suddenly, a large ice spike erupted from where Aurora stood, piercing straight through Anton's stomach. The spike protruded out from the back of him as blood flowed down, staining the white snow beneath him.

He cried in pain, but his increased vitality kept him alive. Aurora, who was still in the air, wanted to end it, so she conjured two ice knife-sized thorns and flipped her body to gain momentum and stabbed the thorns into his eyes before landing next to him.

Snapping her finger, the two thorns exploded inside the wolf's head—this caused the head to explode from the inside, erasing the remaining vitality it had left.

"Finally it's dead." Aurora sighed, looking at the wolf's corpse. "But it is disappointing that it died that easily. Only if it hadn't lost its mind, then maybe the battle would have lasted longer."

She dispelled the large ice spike, allowing it to drop to the ground with a soft thud. She crouched next to the hole in its stomach, and dug her hand inside, where she moved around in search of the mana stone.

After searching for a while, she found the heart and pulled it out. There was a quarter of the heart missing, revealing the inside of it. She saw the mana stone and pulled it out and popped it into her mouth to replenish her mana.

[MP: 157/1000 -> 1000/1000]

'Now that all the monsters are dead, I'll evolve before I leave the dungeon.' She looked at her system, and pressed the (+).

(Evolve)

She pressed the evolve button and felt sleepy. Her eyes flashed open and closed until they closed, not daring to open again. She had fallen asleep as several motes of light split apart into tiny fibers that wrapped her in a cocoon.

While Aurora was unconscious, half an hour had passed. Nothing had changed around her, but outside of the dungeon, there was a group of thirty human adventures who were either D or C rank. They were waiting for the dungeon to break, as it's been a week since the trans-dimensional dungeon appeared.

A woman within the crowd of adventurers who seemed to be in her late twenties had violet hair as beautiful as Violas and pretty purple eyes. Her waist was slim, with a small chest.

"Kellian, shouldn't the dungeon have broken out by now? It's been thirty minutes since the monster index surpassed its limit." The violet-haired woman asked as her eyes gazed at the dungeon gate in front of her.

The monster index is the number of monsters that can inhabit the dungeon. Once it surpasses its limit, a dungeon break occurs.

Kellian, who looked like he was in his mid-twenties with blue hair and brown eyes, answered, "I don't know, maybe someone already cleared the dungeon."

"If someone had already cleared the dungeon, then shouldn't we leave? I don't want to stand here any longer." A man with red hair, hazel eyes said in boredom. He had been standing here for the last hour without any action. This brought his patience to verge of breaking.

"We don't know that until we can confirm that the dungeon has been cleared, we'll stay here." Kellian said in complete seriousness.
