My Friend and I Reincarnated Into a Tragedy Dating Game

So I've been playing this shitty dating game along with my friend. Why is it shitty? Well, none of the damn endings are happy! You're destined to get a sad ending no matter what choices you make. But for some reason, we couldn't stop ourselves from talking about it or searching for some other ending. Ah... but I guess it doesn't matter since both of us died saving some random people we never met. ...Wait, why did I reincarnate into the villain of the shitty dating game? And my friend reincarnated as the hero? Is this... a good thing? Fuck, Nathan why are you beating yourself up? We need to make a real plan here!

A Sweep

A few people came in to bring two sets of crystals onto each side of the platform. They were all different colors, red, yellow, blue, and green. On top of that, they were each about the size of a person. However, these weren't iridescent crystals, just normal ones.

Although it wasn't like you could just get them from nowhere, their value was rather low. It was mostly just used for decoration. The reason for this was that, unlike their counterpart, they did not naturally attract mana. In fact, they did the opposite, naturally repelling it.

But what made it worthless compared to the black stone, was that the repelling effect was incredibly weak.

Still, it did have a property that made it glow after some magic was injected, albeit temporarily. Apparently, it was used in noble families for kids, to get them to have fun practicing magic.

But all things considered, that didn't mean they were being cheap, as crystals this large were still expensive.
