5 Needs attention
Henry had gone for his morning walk. He is a retired police officer who was very conscious of his health 'a fit person can do anything 'was his mantra.
While jogging he halted his steps hearing a sound that came from the bush. Thinking there must be something stuck in it, he started taking small steps in its direction having no intention of scaring it.
As he was walking with small steps, keeping in mind not to scare the thing, he stood in front of the bush and opened it. "Ahh.." came a scream.
"Blake.. you stupid oldy..! what are you doing down there?" Henry said getting startled by his voice. The person was none other than Blake Thomson.
"Idiot you're scared to death," Blake said calming his beating heart.
Blakes's shoe got stuck in mud near the bush, he was busy removing it not knowing someone was coming towards him, scared by the intruder he screamed.
"Same old. scary cat... you are never going to change" saying this he started walking leaving the man behind.
Putting his shoe back Blake joined him.
Blake and Henry were college mates, but due to their busy work they could only meet occasionally, but after getting retired from their respective job they started meeting again.
"Hey. I'm not a scary cat, okay, your face can make anyone scream their lungs out" Blake said and walked along at the same speed as Henry. He had always been a talkative person and liked irritating Henry.
"By the way, where were you yesterday. I was waiting for you" Henry said while walking.
"I had to attend an important meeting" Blake replied walking along with him marching like a soldier.
This had been their regular habit, meeting at the jogging place and chatting. Blake was his only friend whom he had kept close to his heart, though he use to get frustrated because of his silly behavior, he was used to it and liked his presence.
Stopping his steps he turned and pointed a finger creasing his brow at Blake, making him stop and look at the sudden change in his behavior.
"You oldy! better ask your son to keep a distance from my daughter, and not to try his tricks on her! " Henry said out of the blue.
Henry knew where his daughter was going to work, and he very well knew his friend's son's reputation.
"Hey.. don't you think they will look a good pair," Blake said smiling while patting his shoulder.
He had always seen Elena as his daughter and he wanted a girl just like her for his son, but this brat son of his was going fooling around with every girl.
"NO.. don't even think about it, your womanizer son can't keep his pants zipped," Henry said answering.
" I know.. " he signed, "that's why I am not introducing both of them", Blake said sitting on the nearby bench.
" By the way how is my daughter doing?" Blake asked.
"She is good and excited about her job, she was so happy.." Henry smiled as he remembered his daughter's face.
" Hah.. how I wished I had a daughter like her" he signed, "it's not that I don't like my son, but daughters are precious".
"Rosie also wanted a girl right? "Henry said looking at Blake's face. His happy face became sad after hearing about his wife.
Blake and Rosie had fallen in love during their college days and she was also Henry's friend whom he missed a lot, the trio shared a great bond. Henry didn't get a chance to meet her for the last time. when he went for his training, he lost all his contact with them only later knowing she was no more.
"Yes... even though it didn't happen I wish a daughter-in-law whom I can also call my daughter" he said looking at Henry.
Henry knew to whom he was referring.

P. M Enterprise
Elena had reached early for the work, as she would be training for a week. She needed to study the overview of the company and how they work.
"Good morning sir" she greeted Ron.
"Morning Miss carter.. please follow me," he said and asked her to follow him.
They both entered the cabin which was next to Lucas's cabin "This is your cabin Miss Carter, you would be working from here" Ron said politely, "and these are the early account data" he said passing her some files.
"You have to sort all the mistakes that had been done from the previous year till now and what profit and loss have been made by our company, "he said.
Passing another file he said " This is a guidebook which will give you the basic idea of the marketing technique" he was about to leave when he paused" ahh...Miss Carter there is also a thing which you have to do" said scratching his head.
"What sir? " she asked. Elena was already surprised by a work she was given on the first day, but there was another thing that she had to do.
"B-boss needs his coffee when come, so you must do that! " saying this he rushed out of the cabin.
Elena was surprised by Ron's behavior.
"But it's not my job," she said inwardly looking at the closed door.

Making the coffee, Elena went to Lucas's cabin.
Today Lucas was on time for work, Ron was surprised that his boss was calling him to come fast as he wanted to leave for work on time.
Ron had informed him that Elena had come to work early, so he didn't want to give any bad impression to her and wanted to show her that her boss was very much punctual.
Lucas was waiting for her in his cabin, he had personally asked Ron to let Elena make his coffee every day, though it was not her job, he wanted to see her face as soon as he comes.
God knows what has gotten into him, he never wants to stick with any girl, but this one particular person was changing his mind.
"May I come in sir" Elena knocked
Brought out by his thought he adjusted himself and started looking at the laptop, pretending to be working.
"Yes.. " he said and Elena entered.
Diverting his gaze from the laptop toward Elena, he was awestruck by her beauty.
Elena was wearing a dark blue colored pencil skirt that ended just below her knee, paired with a formal top, and her hair was tied in a loose bun, her beauty was flawless complementing her look.
As if studying every detail of her face he kept starring her.
Her amber eyes were looking at him, they were just like stars at night. His gaze went from her eyes, then to her nose, and finally, stop on her lips. Her pink lips were just like cherry making him want to taste them. He gulped watching her pure beauty. She was not looking less like a goddess ascending from heaven.
Clearing her throat Elena asked," Sir your coffee... "
Elena's voice brought Lucas back from his dreamland.
"Y-yes Miss Carter, what were you saying?" Lucas said looking at her.
" Sir your coffee " she again said but this time loud enough to hear.
She has been noticing him from the time she entered his cabin, how he was staring at her like a she had grown horns on her head.
"Oh... yes.. yes coffee, please keep it here on the table," he said smiling at her. She bends down to keep the cup on the table.
Lucas who was observing her moves kept looking at her when his eye caught something that made his monster growl.
"They can easily fit in my palms," he said loud enough making Elena startled.
"W-what....? she said looking at him in shock.
