27 Asking for permission

Elena kept looking at Lucas , she didn't thought he would do such thing.

"W-What do you want? " She stammered.

"Your heart" he said looking at her intently.

"Why" she said.

"Because i want it to beat for me the same way my beats for you" he said and took her palm placing it on his heart.

Elena could feel his heart beat, his heart was beating so fast that she could help but gasp.

His word were right, but how could she trust him. He was known to be a player who loved to play with girls.

She didn't wanted her feeling to be shattered because of his behavior. She didn't have that trust in him to give him her heart.

"Why do you like me? " she raised her brows. Elena wanted to know whether he was fooling her or not.

"Does a person needs any reason to like someone" he said. Lucas wanted to be true to his words, he knew she didn't trust him and it was true because his past would not make anyone believe him.

"How can a person like someone whom he just met few days ago, isn't it too early" she pulled away his hands that were covering her.

Lucas stood there thinking about how was he going to tell her that, he had fallen for her the time he saw her at the traffic signal. He knew she would not believe him thinking that he is just using his tricks on her.

Lucas took back his step and stood there watching her. Elena who smirked at him knowing that he didn't had any answer for her question. She was about to speak when Lucas words surprised her.

"I want to court you Miss Carter" he again walked close to her.

"I want to make you fall for me, if thats what proves my sincerity to you then yes I want to court you" he said in determination.

Elena was shocked by his straight forward answer. He said it so easily without any false intention.

Elena could see sincerity in his words, she could not judge him ,because that night if he wanted to take advantage of her intoxicated state he would have taken it. But it was she who took advantage of him, which she was still embarassed of.

"What if he is saying the truth? " her subconscious mind said.

Lucas was waiting for her to speak as it was making him nervous,that she would again take his words wrong. Never in his life he thought the he would feel nervous that too in front of a girl. The person who would get any girl with his sweet talks was actually asking a girls the permission to woo her. God knows what all things he will have to do for her to trust him.

Thinking for a while she finally spoke"Okay show me your sincerity with your actions not with your words"she wanted to give him a chance at least ,as that was the first plus point he had got from her for not taking advantage of her when she was drunk.

Lucas showed his bright smile when he heard her to agree with him. He was so happy that she finally agreed to give him the chance to court her.

Elena was looking at him when a small smile appeared on her face. She was smiling looking at his happy face when his smile stuck her "Why does the smile looks familiar to me, like i have seen this smile somewhere " she thought.

Daneil was on his way to the hospital when something caught his attention. Asking his driver to stop the car, he got out and walked towards the person.

Maira's car had stopped on the way and she was waiting for the cab.

" Do you need help? "Daneil asked loud enough to get her attention. Daneil saw that she was examining the tier which was punctured.

Recognising the voice Maira turn to look up only to find Daniel leaning on the door and showing his thirty two teeths.

"I think you need help" he again said.

"No...I have asked someone to pick the car and my cab is on the way, so i don't need any help" She said plainly.

Daneil hold his heart with his hand and acted dramatically "Such a cruel person, no place for humanity also".

Getting annoyed by his act Maira shook her head in disbelief. She didn't wanted to argue with him as she was already late for work.

" I can drop you why to take cab"he said pouting at her. Daneil had finally started to understand Maira, she was a cruel person who easily rejected him.

"No need,my cab will arrive soon, you can go" she did even looked at him as she was busy watching the navigation of her cab.

"Why it's stuck in one position? why isn't it moving? she murmured.

Daneil looked in her phone only to find that her cab will take fifteen to twenty minutes to reach the spot. He had already asked her politely but she rejected his offer, so this time he hold her wrist and dragged her towards his car.

" Hey! what are you doing? "she said pulling her hand back, but he was so strong for her to free herself.

" You are not the one who understand sweet words" Daneil opened the door and made her sit inside. He went on the other side and sat inside asking the driver to drive.

"You can't force anyone" she said angrily.

Snatching her phone he cancelled the cab and gave it back to her.

"You can see your car was stuck and it clearly showed that it would take time to come, but then too your stubborn self was not ready to accept my help" he sighed.

"I would have waited" she said rolling her eyes. She didn't wanted to share the same space with him as she was scare to have feeling for him.

"But i couldn't let you wait " he moved close to her.

Maira hold her breath because his face was so close making her nervous. Even though she was familiar with his touch she still couldn't help but feel ticklish whenever he was close to her.

"C-can you m-move back" she stammered while talking. The more she wanted to avoid him the more he tried to come close.

"Are you still going to deny? " he said as his palm went to touch her cheeks cupping it gently.

Daneil had heard everything she said, 'she didn't felt disgusted but she felt their night was special' these were her words which he heard when he had fallen asleep.

"Lets just start dating, i know its too early but lets just know each other more" he said so gently to her when he spoke that melt her heart ,which was trying to hold strong. His words were genuine, that was trying to make her agree with it.

Nodding her head in yes, she agreed with his words. She wanted to give it a try, she wanted to fall for someone who would love her for the way she is. Even though Daniel was drunk that night, his words were true. His eye showed that everything he said was true. And now he was asking her the same.

Getting her answer Daneil was on cloud nine, without thinking anything he pressed his lips on her giving her light kiss. Maira was stunned with his sudden action. Pulling away he look at her suprise face, smiling at her he again took her lips and this time she didn't hold back.

Circling her arms around his neck she pulled him closer to her and kissed him until they were out of breath.Joining there forehead, they tried to calm themselves. Maira was blushing knowing what they had done, even though she was bold and fierce, she was still new to this feeling.

"Thank you" Daneil said looking at her blushed face. He didn't knew he would become a desperate person who wouldn't be able to control himself in front of her. She had finally agreed to him and he was so happy to have her close to him.

Their car finally reached her company, Daneil was holding her hand not wanting to leave her. Maira coaxed him with her sweet word making him finally leave her hand.

"I will come to pick you" he said shyly. Smiling at him she pinched his cheeks giving a peck on it and went out of the car.

Watching her entering the building he finally left "We are officially dating "he thought and smiled with happiness.
