1 Chapter 1: First Sun Rays

"Miss Sun Hee is awake! Bring the best doctors here quickly."

The woman next to her stood up and hurriedly, left the huge room.

"Where am I?" She asked whilst feeling surprised.

Soon enough, several doctors entered into the room, and followed them in was a young woman in her work clothes. Escorted by two bodyguards twice her size, she appeared like a small ant beside them.

"Miss Sun Hee, how are you feeling?"

"Miss?" She asked with confusion present.

Sun Hee couldn't remember anything. Therefore, she didn't know who she was or why they called her 'miss'. The annoying light seeped in through the eyes, making her eyelids closed tightly. Immediately, someone angrily ordered to close the curtains.

"T-thanks."

She bowed respectfully, leading for others in the room to be perplexed.

"Miss, please don't do that."

Looking scared about the situation, the woman took out her phone and dialled a number whilst she left the room with being followed by the two bodyguards.

Sun Hee realized where she was at currently. She wondered on why she was at the hospital and couldn't recall about anything.

"Excuse me, could someone explain to me about why I am in this hospital room?"

In order to attend to her properly, the doctors quickly turned back.

"Please wait for Mrs. Kuyng Shin to arrive." The doctors checked her again to ensure that she was completely well.

The same woman from earlier stepped into the room, but this time, little nervousness was placed upon her features.

"Miss Sun Hee, your mother had arrived."

A pale, beautiful woman with green eyes and in a luxurious dress entered in, leading for everyone to move away to give her space. The gorgeous woman lowered her glass a little and stared at Sun Hee.

"Sorry, but who are you?"

The beautiful woman did not answer and simply say next to Sun Hee in order to start the conversation.

"I'm your mother. A month ago, the car you were in suffered from a heavy blow, causing for you to lose your memories," Her mother, Kuyng Shin, spoke out, maintaining a nonchalant outlook. Her expression made others feel as if she didn't care that her daughter was in a coma for month and had lost her memories.

After a week had passed, the doctors let Sun Hee get discharged. As soon as they reached the hospital's door, a large number of bodyguards arrived— all dressed in black. Everyone who passed by was scared.

In front of her, there was a row of cars, and among them, there was one which stood out. Sun Hee immediately understood which one to get on. Taking the steps forward, Sun Hee headed towards the luxurious vehicle, with herself still being confused, and following her was the huge bodyguards.

A friendly looking driver opened the door, and in order to thank him, Sun Hee bowed slightly, causing for the driver to be perplexed.

Even though she did not know where they were going, fortunately, she could remember the streets somewhat.

A while later, the car stopped, making Sun Hee aware that they had arrived. Soon enough, the driver opened the door and let out a forced smile. Feeling uncomfortable, Sun Hee returned the smile out of respect.

Standing in front of her was a magnificent mansion, and her eyes widened due to surprise. The maids rushed towards her.

"Miss, I hope you're well. Please follow us, and we will take you to your room," They spoke out very politely and were afraid to say the wrong words.

Inside the bedroom was a large and comfortable looking bed. An expensive set of clothes was placed upon it. Sun Hee quickly changed into the garments and went down to the huge room in order to meet her mother. She moved carefully, counting the number of valuable items and fearful of breaking some.

"Mom?"

Kuyng Shin immediately turned back with a furious look placed upon her face.

"Who told you that you can address me by mom?"

"…"

There was a long silence in the room. The room was spacious to the extent that a small noise could be heard throughout the room, and this caused Sun Hee's throat to lump.

The situation was too awkward.

"I didn't call you here to make me angry."

"I'm sorry... Kuyng Shin."

"Well, I just wanted to inform you about the fact that you'll be getting married within two days."

"W-what?"

"You don't remember the contract?"
