In the woods

I've started tracking but there's just no trace so I go back to the the town and confront the tavern keeper he denies telling me a lie so I start asking around town and learn it's possibly east so I head out and immediately I see a dead body with black flames coming out of the wounds so I look at and see a trail of fire in to the woods I draw my sword and run into the woods but then I fall I was attacked from behind so I get up and start swinging and then when I stop there it was my first monster kill I said to my self wow I got lucky then I woke up I blacked out from the fall and see a demon covered in blood and it's says I will devour you and it starts eating me.
