Shorty Throws a Fit

A powerful ki moved in the direction of Frieza!

"Is that Kahn?" Vegeta muttered to himself, clutching a large Dragon Ball on a secluded island on Namek. Since returning from Earth, Vegeta had mastered the art of sensing ki, an ability that had transformed his approach to battles, rendering the combat power detectors of the Frieza Legion obsolete.

Upon reaching Namek, Vegeta had sensed the formidable auras of Kahn, Goku, and Frieza. The ki he felt now, rapidly approaching, was unfathomably strong. It was not Goku nor Frieza's, leaving only one possibility: Kahn!

'Kahn's gone to confront Frieza! Interesting,' Vegeta thought, a sly smile creeping onto his face. A confrontation between Kahn and Frieza promised an epic battle. Vegeta's interest was piqued not only by the prospect of witnessing Frieza's true strength but also by the possibility of Kahn defeating Frieza and avenging the Saiyan race.

This scenario presented a golden opportunity for Vegeta. Amidst the chaos, he could seize all seven Dragon Balls to summon the Eternal Dragon and fulfill his wish. It was a perfect chance to eliminate Frieza and settle his score with Kahn. It was like killing three birds with one stone.

"Hehehe, hahahaha!" Vegeta laughed triumphantly. "Kahn, Frieza! Unexpectedly, the final victor will be me, Vegeta!" With determination, he set off, trailing Kahn closely.

Kahn, fully aware of Vegeta's presence, was unfazed. After a few minutes, Kahn descended onto an island with Bulma. Frieza's spaceship was parked nearby, bustling with activity. Inside, Frieza, perched on his throne, noticed their arrival.

"Oh? Who are these two? They're not from Namek, and they don't look like Saiyans either," Frieza mused, his scarlet eyes narrowing.

"King Frieza, should we eliminate them?" a subordinate inquired respectfully.

A cold light flashed in Frieza's eyes. "It seems they are not friendly visitors. Kill them."

"Yes, sire!"

As Frieza's soldiers moved to intercept, they were swiftly and effortlessly dispatched by Kahn. Frieza chuckled with interest. "Oh ho ho ho! Daring to challenge me, Frieza, without knowing their place. Amusing."

The self-proclaimed Emperor of the Universe had always been the one to trouble others, never the other way around. Frieza's curiosity was piqued. He exited the spaceship, descending slowly in his battle pod. An evil, oppressive aura emanated from him, causing Bulma to hide behind Kahn.

"Are you a Saiyan?" Frieza asked, noting the tan tail swaying behind Kahn. His surprise grew. Saiyans were supposed to be extinct, except for a few under his command. Yet, here was another, and one with a familiar face.

"Your face… it reminds me of someone," Frieza pondered aloud. Suddenly, realization struck him. "You're… that guy's son! Bardock's son!"

Kahn's resemblance to his father, Bardock, was unmistakable. Bardock, who had fought valiantly against Frieza during the destruction of Planet Vegeta. "It's rare that you remember the one who fought for the Saiyan race," Kahn replied, his voice cold with killing intent. "He was indeed my father, Bardock."

Frieza's sinister smile widened. "Your courage mirrors Bardock's. But courage alone isn't enough. In this universe, no one can challenge me, Frieza. My power is absolute."

Kahn sneered. "Frieza, your reign is over. Today, I will avenge my father, Bardock, and my mother, Gine."

Frieza's eyes narrowed dangerously. "Oh ho ho ho! If you think you can, by all means, try. But know this: challenging me comes at a cost. I'll show you a fate worse than death."

The atmosphere crackled with tension as both prepared for battle.

Suddenly, Kahn's expression changed. He turned to the distant sky. "What's wrong, Kahn?" Bulma asked, sensing his unease.

"Goku… his ki just vanished," Kahn replied, a deep frown forming.

"Let's go check it out!" For a while, Kahn could care less about Frieza and took Bulma to the sky, disappearing in an instant.

"Run? No one escapes from me!" Frieza sneered, puzzled by Kahn's sudden retreat but determined not to let him go. In Frieza's eyes, Saiyans were nothing more than troublesome monkeys that deserved to be eradicated.

Sensing the intense energy, Vegeta knew what had happened and followed without hesitation.

At the Namekian village where Dende lived, the villagers were huddled together, looking in horror at Dodoria, Zarbon, and the dozen or so Frieza Force soldiers with them. Several Namekian corpses lay on the ground, killed by single, brutal blows.

Along with the Namekians and the Frieza Force, there were other figures: Goku, Krillin, and Gohan.

"Dad!" Gohan knelt beside Goku's body, crying uncontrollably.

"Goku…" Krillin's eyes were wide with disbelief. Goku was dead, pierced by a Ki Blast from Dodoria.

On their way to collect the Dragon Balls, they had discovered the village under attack by Dodoria and Zarbon. Goku, ever the hero, had rushed to help but was overpowered and killed by Dodoria.

"Stop crying, brat. I'll send you to join him soon," Dodoria taunted, stepping forward with a wicked grin.

Krillin's body tensed. He assumed a fighting stance, but his whole body trembled. Even Goku had fallen to Dodoria—what chance did he have?

"Ahh!!" Gohan, fueled by grief and anger, stood up. His eyes burned with fury, transforming his sadness into raw power.

Beep! Beep!

The combat power detectors on Dodoria and Zarbon started blaring. Gohan's power level skyrocketed, breaking through the 10,000 mark in seconds!

"10,000?!" Dodoria and Zarbon were in shock. How could a kid have such a high power level? And it was still climbing!

Fifteen thousand! Twenty thousand!

"Impossible!" Dodoria stumbled back, wondering if the detectors were malfunctioning. How could a child possess such power? Even her own power level was only 22,000!

"You monster, I'll kill you!" Gohan, his power surging, charged at Dodoria, hitting her squarely in the chest with a powerful punch.

"Ugh!" Dodoria's eyes bulged as she was sent flying backward, crashing into a mountain and becoming embedded in it.

"Master Dodoria!" "That kid actually knocked Lord Dodoria into the mountain?!" The Frieza Force soldiers were in shock. Even Zarbon frowned, realizing Gohan's true strength might be far greater.

Dodoria emerged from the mountain, furious and humiliated. Though not seriously injured, she couldn't believe she had been bested by a child.

"You're going to regret that, brat! I'll crush you!" Dodoria's voice was filled with menace. Exhausted, Gohan showed a frightened expression and backed away.

"Gohan, get behind me!" Krillin appeared in front of Gohan. With Goku gone, he couldn't let Gohan be harmed. Though no match for Dodoria, he was determined to protect Gohan.

"None of you are escaping! Die!" Dodoria charged at Krillin, who closed his eyes, ready for the worst.

"Dodoria, you're dead!" a voice boomed over the village. Gohan, Dende, and the others saw Dodoria trampled by a figure descending from the sky. Gohan recognized the voice immediately.

"Uncle Kahn!" Gohan cried out in relief. The sudden change made Zarbon and the others recoil in fear. Dodoria, killed instantly? Who was this person?

Kahn ignored Zarbon and the others, his eyes fixed on Goku's body. Seeing the bloody hole in Goku's chest, he knew the hero had been killed by a fatal blow.

"Goku!" Bulma, witnessing the scene, turned pale with fear.

"Goku, maybe this is your fate too," Kahn sighed.

Unlike the original timeline, Goku didn't die during Raditz's attack but instead met his end on Namek. Dodoria was the one who killed him, but Kahn saw this as a temporary separation. In the world of Dragon Ball, death was just a brief interruption, marked by a halo above the head. Knowing this, Kahn wasn't deeply saddened by Goku's death, confident that he would be resurrected soon.

"Uncle Kahn…" Little Gohan approached, his eyes red from crying.

Kahn gently patted Gohan's head and reassured him, "Don't be sad, Gohan. Your dad will be back soon. And I promise to avenge him."

He then entrusted Gohan to Bulma and Krillin before turning his icy gaze to Zarbon and the other Frieza soldiers. The intensity of his stare made them shiver.

Then, the battle began.

Kahn's overwhelming power made short work of Zarbon and the dozen or so Frieza soldiers terrorizing the Namekian village. Even Zarbon, once so confident, was no match, falling instantly to Kahn's energy beam through the heart.

The corpses of Zarbon, Dodoria, and the other soldiers lay scattered, creating a horrifying scene that left the village children pale with fear.

After dealing with Zarbon and his men, Kahn turned to the Namekians. Frightened, they backed away, fearing they might be next.

Kahn addressed the village elders, "If you don't want to die, take your people and leave quickly. Frieza is on his way."

Although the elders didn't know who Frieza was, they didn't hesitate. They quickly organized an evacuation, including Dende, Gohan, and the others. Just as they were about to leave, a sinister laugh echoed through the air.

"Oh ho ho ho ho, where do you think you're going?"

Frieza, piloting his battle pod, appeared from the sky at an astonishing speed. His eyes scanned the scene, landing on the bodies of Dodoria, Zarbon, and the other soldiers.

Frieza's cold, scarlet eyes fixed on Kahn, "You, monkey, did you kill Zarbon and Dodoria?"

Kahn smirked, "Isn't it obvious? Shorty."

Frieza's eyes widened in fury, "What did you call me?!"

Despite being the emperor of the universe, Frieza was sensitive about his height. The insult hit him hard.

Kahn repeated, "Shorty."

Frieza's rage boiled over, "Savage monkey, I'll tear you to pieces!"

The combat power detector on Frieza's left eye exploded from his fury. Kahn shrugged, mocking, "You can call me a monkey, but I can't call you short? You're supposed to be the emperor of the universe, but you're so narrow-minded."

Above the clouds, Vados laughed at the sight of Frieza's rage, "Hahaha! I didn't expect Kahn to call Frieza a shorty."

Merus added, "This is the first time I've seen Frieza so angry. Not many have the guts to mock Frieza like that, Khan has a sharp tongue."

Even Vegeta was stunned, realizing for the first time that Frieza had a weakness for his height. However, Vegeta, being short himself, knew he couldn't use the same insult without hurting his pride.

Frieza, seething with anger, snarled, "Damn Saiyan monkey, I'll tear your mouth apart and leave you in pieces!"

With a scream, Frieza's figure vanished from the combat pod, and the battle began.

In a flash, Frieza appeared before Kahn, kicking him fiercely in the temple.

Boom!

Kahn didn't dodge and took Frieza's kick head-on, without moving an inch.

"What?!" Frieza was startled. Adjusting his body in mid-air, he smashed his feet together into Kahn's chest with a powerful dash.

Thud!

Once again, it had no effect. Kahn stood firm, unscathed, while Frieza recoiled from the impact, feeling pain shoot through his legs.

"Impossible! No Saiyan can withstand my attacks!" Frieza, shouted, disbelief written all over his face. Enraged he unleashed a barrage of punches, kicks, and energy blasts at Khan.

For several minutes, Frieza attacked relentlessly. Until finally he stopped, panting heavily, his eyes locked onto Khan's.

"How can this be?! I can't believe it… I can't hurt him!

As the smoke from the onslaught cleared, Kahn's tall and imposing figure emerged, standing unscathed like an immovable iron tower.

"This can't be happening!" Frieza muttered, his voice tinged with desperation. He had never encountered anyone who could withstand his full power without a scratch. The mighty emperor of the universe was utterly baffled.
