Chapter 1

HOW WE MET

At the time I was 10 me and my cousins were going to Vacation Bible School (VBS) .when got to VBS there was a group of people.I knew a couple of the people because we were friends.the rest I had never seen before.but I said hi to the people I knew and continued doing what I was doing not thinking that one day I would date one of them. VBS was only three days long so after the 3rd day I did not see the people I did not know. until the next time at VBS. and every time I would say hi to people that I knew started to get to know the people that I didn't know. by the time last summer rolled around I already knew most of the people their names were onix,Celeste, Jojo and delaja.in VBS there's always a activity that we do, that days activity was water balloon hop potatoe which turned in to us throwing water balloons at each other.i was so happy because I had gotten through the whole afternoon without getting hit with a water balloon until one came flashing right across my chest I look at the person who throw it and to my surprise it was the new friend that I made back when I first started going to VBS two summers ago from what I collected his name is onyx and he was 3 years older than me he was friends with Jojo and Celeste I ended up finding out when school started again the summer when I first met them that Celeste was in my grade and JoJo was a grade higher than me. so I saw them often but it was still a mystery who exactly was onix. probably the most strangest thing from meeting onyx was the fact that he seemed a little shy whenever I went to go talk to him or to start one of those awkward conversations but whenever he went to talk to Celeste or Jojo he always had so much confidence was it just me did he find me weird or maybe he liked me. after he threw it everybody started laughing at me I wonder what they were laughing at until I look down to my surprise. I saw that you could clearly see my bra the water balloon had hit the just the right spot to show everything. after he was done laughing he came up to me and apologized and grabbed me a couple paper towels. I said that it was fine and that I didn't really care because I was really close friends with most of the people but besides that I never really got to know him anymore then that and he always stayed a mystery until one day.

HOW IT ALL BEGAN

I was never the kind of person that downloaded apps that were kind of older like Facebook or Instagram but I figured that I would download Instagram just because it was another app that I could go on to waste my time and to take my mind off that I have nothing else better to do so eventually I started adding people people added me back but we never really talked until one day I got a message it was sweet and simple all it said was hi. if you were to ask all my friends I never am impolite, so I responded Hi how are you and he didn't text me for another couple hours but when he did it really puzzles me what he said I don't know if you remember me but I have known you since you were 10. kind of creeped out but also intrigued I wanted to find out more about who this mystery person was so I ask some more questions and he was very willing with giving me the answers he told me his name is onyx after he said that it dawned on me as fast as I could I typed do you know Jojo and Celeste and he said yes I realized he was the mystery boy that I saw at VBS every summer so I said yeah I remember him and then we're talkin about all the fun VBS moments that we share over the three Summers that I had gone to VBS. and I was kind of happy to hear from somebody that I knew because I love making new friends especially friends that I already know. we continue talking and asked how each other were and then he brought up the water balloon incident as if it was something funny I mean it was but it was also very embarrassing and here he was practically making fun of me. but I brushed it off and pretended like it was funny. eventually he asked if I had Snapchat and then we traded snapchat usernames.
