Seeing Andre like this, seeing him try so hard made me feel sort of happy.

For someone to try that hard for me was something new and refreshing.

"Fine," I ended up giving him a smile, "If that ever happens." I nodded at him, "I'll consider it."

He smiled back, "That's a promise then?" He got his pinky out.

"Andre, what are you a kid?" I giggled.

"Hey! This is the most sacred promise of all!" He moved his hand up and down with his pinky still out.

"Fine!" I made him a pinky promise, "The deal's done."

"You sure?" We were outside Andre's house, "You can go alone?"

I nodded, "I'm going to go straight home now." I took a deep breath, "Tell Noel I went to the hospital with you so that she doesn't panic."

"Sure," He nodded.

I already gave him a brief report of everything and honestly, telling someone about the whole thing has made me relax a bit.

I arrived to the orphanage which had recently started to feel foreign to me since I won't be able to stay here for long.

The maximum age is eighteen and I'm seventeen. I've got less than a year.

I went in and saw the nuns happily chatting. They seemed quite gleeful for some reason and I just had to ask why.

"Did something happen?" I asked.

"Oh My!" Sister Agatha looked at me, "We got a really generous donation today!"

"Oh!"

"The guest is still here and we just can't thank him enough!" Sister Noon seemed over the moon.

"That's nice." I smiled, "Well, I'm going to my room."

"Okay~" The three of them gave me a very mischievous smile, "Have fun."

"Ah- Okay."

That was weird but okay.

I walked to the bedroom area and went straight to my room.

It had been a weird weekend and even though I had spent quite a lot of it sleeping, I still felt tired.

I opened my room's door and lazily went it.

A few steps in and I felt a sharp pinch in my arm.

A jolt of pain went through my body and I realized I was stabbed with a needle.

The door got shut and then I heard it get locked.

For a moment I was frozen but when the person removed the syringe from my arm I turned around with a jerk to see who it was and what was happening.

"Stay Calm." The towering body of Calix stood beside the door, "Don't panic." He said, "I just want to talk."

After he injected me with something!!

But wait! What is he doing here? Why? How? What does he want?

Why is this happening? I did all that to avoid him but he's here in my room? For what?!

What do I do??
