Main Characters

Emily Tinsel: a passionate and devoted twenty five years old young divorcee, who is now committed to making a better life for herself. She will stop at nothing to make sure she has added value to her life, and finally make something good of herself.

Jake Hilton: Jake is thirty years old and a sophisticated billionaire. All his life he had been told to be like a lion; proud and daring. This act had made him so disciplined that he failed to recognize true love when he saw one. Regretting his actions, he wants nothing but a second chance from his ex wife, Emily.

Verona Montez: She is the cousin to Emily and daughter of Barbara, and the only thing constantly on her mind is an obsession of never being behind. She wants to be the best at all times, and is intimidated by Emily's strong will to succeed. Emily is poor and deserves to be a slave to her, not better than her! She wants to have everything or nothing at all.

Clara Tinsel: Emily's mother is a drunkard, a lousy spender, to the point that she used all of Emily's savings to settle loans and series of debts, rendering her daughter broke with no money at all. Emily suffered a loss when her husband died, and has always hoped her daughter would be the key to being happy again when she married some rich man. Now that Emily is divorced, Clara is back to being poor and she would never forgive her daughter's careless choice.

Barbara Montez: a woman of pride and elegance. Being sister to Clara, she sees the kind of life her sister had lived. And now, her niece is living under her roof…she can't let her poison her daughter's mind! She must show Emily who was boss, and make her suffer, especially for what her mother has done for her.
