1 Chapter 1: Fiancée Candidate_1

In her hazy state of mind, Su Hongxing opened her eyes.

As was her habit, she yawned and stretched, then clambered to her feet.

When she saw a gorgeous woman standing not far away in a skirt that barely reached her hips, she casually asked, "Who are you, and what are you doing in my house?"

Immediately after she spoke, she sensed something strange because in addition to this beauty, another three gorgeously dressed and enticingly shaped beauties were lined up.

For a moment, Su Hongxing was dumbstruck and a little confused, until the clear and appealing voice of a man rang out, "What's your name?"

She followed the sound and stared straight into the man's captivating deep-set eyes.

The man had profound facial features, thick and shapely eyebrows, a pronounced nose, and somewhat thin lips. His bearing marked him as the epitome of attractive. Quietly standing there, he was tall and handsome, dashing yet refined, superior, and aloof.

The palace lantern on the wall gently rotated, casting glimmers of light across his mesmerizing eyes, reflecting in sparkling shards, as bright as diamonds.

For a moment, Su Hongxing was transfixed, feeling a sense of familiarity and an inexplicable attraction to the man before her.

Seeing that Su Hongxing couldn't take her eyes off him, Ye Qilan kept his patience and asked again, "Your name!"

"Su... Su Hongxing," Su Hongxing returned from her trance. The man before her seemed familiar, "Who are you? Have I met you before?"

Ye Qilan had met numerous women who overtly showed affection for him, but none as frank as her.

"Su Hongxing, 22-years-old, 1.68m tall, weighing 130 pounds, just graduated with a degree, parents divorced," Ye Qiulan's assistant Bai Chen quietly recited Su Hongxing's information.

Although he knew Ye Qilan had distinctive tastes, he was surprised to see him interested in Su Hongxing among the five potential future wives.

The other four women were attractive and had incredible figures. Their dresses and makeup were flawless.

Contrarily, Su Hongxing was wearing an oversized knee-length dress, without any makeup, and her face looked a bit chubby.

Considering all aspects, Su Hongxing failed as a woman.

In the midst of admiring handsome men, Su Hongxing finally asked the essential question, "Where is this?"

From the look of the sky, it seemed to be nighttime.

She had previously attended a classmate reunion, probably had too much to drink, and lost consciousness.

"Miss Su, stop faking it," Bai Chen said with cold eyes looking at Su Hongxing.

He had seen women pretending before, but none quite like her.

He had five portfolios in his hands, each representing one of the five women present.

Next week, Ye Qilan was marrying one of the women, and the five of them were the possible candidates for Ye Qilan's future wife.

Normally, given Ye Qilan's noble status and his countless encounters with beauties, it should be hard for any woman to catch his full attention, but his gaze never left Su Hongxing.

If he remembered correctly, he only had four portfolios. Su Hongxing's information shouldn't have been among them.

Something was amiss.

"I really don't know where I am. If there's nothing else, I'll be leaving," said Su Hongxing, deciding to leave since she couldn't grasp the situation.

"Su Hongxing, you're the one! Be ready to register with me this coming Monday and bring all the required documents," Ye Qilan's next words left everyone present, including Su Hongxing herself, astounded.

"Wha... What registration?" Su Hongxing was sure she must have misunderstood something. It couldn't be what she was thinking.

Ye Qilan glanced at his wristwatch and indifferently said, "Bai Chen, handle the rest."
