My Ex-Husband Desires Me

"Wh..wh.. what is this Maxwell?" She raised her head, her vision was blurred with unshed tears.   "Can't you read?" He asked, "I'm filing for a divorce, sign it and let's both go our separate ways." He handed her a pen.   "What did I do? I thought you said you loved me. Were you just fooling with me? Did you toy with my feelings?" She sobbed. The tears she had been holding flowed freely down her cheeks.   "Don't act like you don't know what you did. What? You thought I would never find out? You gold-digging whore!" He yelled.    Morgana grabbed the table cloth, every word that left his mouth was like an arrow piercing through her chest. "Why would you say that to me? You've known me for a year now, do I look like a gold digger to you?" She cleaned her tears, but the tears kept falling nonstop.   "That's because you are good at acting. Do you want me to tell you what you did since you can't seem to remember?"    "You are the reason I got drunk that night, You got me drunk just so you could sleep with me and after that, you leaked the information because you knew that my family would ask us to get married just to save our reputation."  ........... After their wedding anniversary, which ended up with a divorce, Morgana swore to herself that she would work hard and earn for herself and her unborn baby. But then, her supposed Ex-Husband wants her back and is trying his best to get back into her life.

She had a glow up

That night, Aurora slept in her dad's room, while her brothers slept in the room that Clarissa had prepared for them. Maxwell couldn't sleep, it's not because he was anxious or nervous or scared, he was just happy, extremely happy. He would wake up whenever Aurora shivered or muttered or whimpered in her sleep.

The next morning, which was a Saturday, before the morning sun could hit the horizon, Morgana was already up, so she entered the bathroom and got ready. She didn't plan on going over to the Mayor's early in the morning but she couldn't help it, she didn't care if Maxwell would be there, all that mattered was that she'd see her children and maybe have breakfast with them.
